In this paper, a hierarchical link allocation algorithm between mobile stations (MSs) and the corresponding base station (BS) by an optimal utilization of relay stations (RSs) is proposed to improve throughput of RS systems. In the proposed hierarchical algorithm, each RS operates cognitive radio functions to sense the degree of satisfaction in the quality of services (QoSs) and then selects the candidate set of MSs to have links with the RS. Such information is reported to the BS, where an auction process is performed to get an optimal allocation of communication links between the MSs and the BS. To maximize system throughput, the proposed auction algorithm is conducted upon bidding prices of communication links, considering both the co-channel interference (CCI) information shared among adjacent cells and the QoS enhancement information for each MS collected from RSs. The BS then switches the communication links of the auction winner MSs through the corresponding RS. The computer simulation shows that the proposed algorithm enhances the user QoS more than the conventional algorithm, especially for RS systems with more users requiring higher QoS. The proposed algorithm has also been proved to have more robust performance than the conventional one when the traffic load is higher and the CCI becomes stronger.
Present study analyzes the rooftop gardening status, floristic composition and cost and return of the rooftop garden in Sylhet City Corporation of northeastern Bangladesh. Data was collected from 450 rooftop gardeners randomly during July-September 2010. Study reveal that rooftop gardening is generally for mental satisfaction (95.3%) followed by leisure time activity (87.8%) in the study area and almost all the family members of gardeners' were involved; while collection of planting materials, sites preparation and marketing of products were reported to be carried out by males only (male 71.33%). Middle income classes were most interested in rooftop gardening (43.78%). The survey recorded 53 plant species (35 families) of which Cucurbitaceae family represented highest eight species. Shrubs (28%) were highest followed by herbs (26%) among agri-crops (36%) and flower species (30%). About 89% of the rooftop gardeners procured planting materials from nursery, market, fair, neighbor, relative and friends and they mostly prefer to use seedlings (48%) for roof gardening followed by direct seed sowing (21%). Gardeners sell products sporadically in different local markets, directly or through intermediaries, with no uniform pricing for system. Rooftop gardening improves the food security and meet nutritional deficiency to the gardeners. Survey revealed that generally very few people consider rooftop gardening commercially to get profit and from the cost-return analysis this gardening system can be economically viable if proper and scientifically managed. The study conclude that active government and NGOs could play vital role to increasing this activities by providing training and motivate people with technical aspects of rooftop gardening.
The concept of Smart home is receiving a huge attention as a future living environment because of its advantages for elderly and disabled to maintain their quality of life. Smart home is a place equipped with integration of technology and services and closely intertwined with occupant's lifestyle. Therefore it is critical to consider the user's actual needs for ensuring satisfaction. However despite growing researches on user values for smart home, there have been few studies clearly categorizing smart home service and stating user values depending on characteristics of service. Thus, the aim of this research is to classify smart home services on user's perspective, and reveal user values for each smart home services. Through the in-depth literature review, we elicited technology-related user values and service-related user values, and state classification for smart home service. Also the relationship between user values and each smart home services were revealed. The results of this research should help to reflect user's actual needs for designing smart home services.
This study aims to study the problems and solutions of institutional support for the elderly living alone, focusing on the General Support for Living Alone Elderly announced by the Ministry of Health and Welfare in 2018. Results, First, a customized support system for the elderly living alone should be introduced. In order to improve the life satisfaction of the elderly living alone, it is necessary to develop a program that meets the most basic daily life needs, and a specific plan and a support system to link services should be prepared. Second, it is necessary to increase social interest in the elderly living alone. Solving problems for the elderly living alone should be preceded by social interest in the elderly living alone. For this, it is necessary to strengthen the social network. Third, it proposes legislation and amendment for the elderly living alone. Some revisions of existing laws have limitations, and are resolved through individual laws, such as standards and definitions for various types of elderly jobs, reorganization of the delivery system including agencies dedicated to elderly jobs, workers-related regulations, and preferential purchase systems for senior products. It is desirable to do. In conclusion, welfare support for the elderly living alone should be comprehensive and comprehensive. For the welfare of the elderly living alone, personalized care services should be provided first, and social support for the elderly living alone should be promoted on the basis of increasing social interest, and laws and revisions must be actively and proactively made for the elderly living alone.

Length and the number of tunnels has increased 10% annually. Tunnel construction has positive effect in nature and driving condition. However, the structure of tunnels lead to a greater probability of major accidents. For this reason, tunnel is focusing its attention on the rapid incident handling and disaster management to build a tunnel management system in recently. In this study, tunnel management system adequacy analyzed in terms of operational safety using IPA and AHP analysis. IPA analysis results using the portfolio chart, incident management factors has a large gap between important and satisfaction. Disaster management is analyzed high ranking in priority. However, incident management factors are derived first priority in AHP analysis. This study determined that the results are meaningful to practitioners in the field is determined. In addition, practitioners comments should be reflected primarily for tunnel operational safely.

This study proposes an estimate method of willingness to pay(WTP) for real-time route guidance systems using contingent valuation method(CVM) under double bounded dichotomous choice question(DBDCQ) and analysis for impact factors of WTP estimation. This study assumed that provided real-time traffic information service is optimal route concepts dealing with traffic conditions on origin-destination. Analysis targets were classified into two groups as short distance path and middle distance path for estimating WTP for realtime route guidance system in a year using the survival analysis method and the regression model with personal information, actual condition and satisfaction of information usage and users' awareness and usage of facilities. As a result, mean WTP of realtime route guidance system is 4,034won/year in short distance path, and 4,884won/year in middle distance path. Therefore real-time route guidance system for longer distance path is recognized as more valuable than shorter distance path. Moreover, the necessity of information was required on a higher income group and higher WTP was estimated on owners of vehicle group and lower awareness of a route group.

This study analyzed the policies related to parents in child care centers from 1991 to 2013 as shown in the guidance for child care business book published by the government and accredited journals by the National Research Foundation. Policies related to parents in child care centers were divided into the following periods: 1) the period of passive parent education focused on low-income families (1991-1994), 2) the period of relief for dual-income families (1995-1997), 3) the period of relief for adoption families and the practice of child care support services (2004-2007), 4) the period of active parent involvement (2008-2013). On the other hand, the research trends of parent education in child-care centers were as follows: 1) the survey of parent education was the most common at first, 2) the studies of the role and disposition of parents occupied the bulk, 3) the studies of parents' needs and satisfaction on parent involvement appeared plenty, 4) the studies of the personalized parent education increased. Consequently, the need for home care services and the importance of parents' education were suggested.
This research is an attempt to establish a basic material in discovering the subjective types of the dental coordinators occupational consciousness, utilizing the Q-Method Theory, which is capable of measuring the subjective nature of human being by scientific and systematic method. The characteristics of each type were analyzed so as to have the dental coordinator to possess the desirable understanding of the occupational view together for them to have self-confidence as a lifetime specialty occupation. Upon completion of the study, it was found that there are three types of subjective views pertaining to the occupational consciousness on the dental coordinator. The result on the analysis of the characteristics is as follows : Type 1 is the Taking Serious View on the Patient Service, which priority is placed on kindness and looking after any difficulties of the patient, namely, it is the type that puts the importance on the high level medical examination and treatment based on good service. Because of the kind service to the patient, those under this category considered their job satisfaction have been improved. It goes without saying that they were developing the services, which satisfy themselves, and it was confirmed that they thought that they should make things smooth for any development of problems that may arise between the patient and the dentist. Type 2 is the Taking Serious View on Career and Organizational Strength. This is a type that aims on the systematic nature of the internal job, namely, organizational strength itself viewed from the stand point thai either self-confident or work merit is proportional to experience. This type is to actively treat the problem and endeavor to solve the issue when dissatisfaction is held by the dental hospital system, which is either followed according to the work responsibility or by an organization having an appropriate system on remuneration, Type 3 is the Placing of Importance on the Overall Circumstances. This is the type that places importance on the overall now of the dental hospital, and it is the type, that most greatly recognizes the importance of the role of the dental coordinator. The dental coordinator should provide the sense of reliability to both the dentist and to the staff of the medical examination and treatment and should be able to adjust smoothly the overall now of the medical treatment. The dental coordinator is expected to be a medical service specialist, who is capable to solve the problems of the staff of the medical treatment intuitively and to adjust the relation between the employees. With the above result, it was found that although there was no mutual exclusiveness between the respective types, there are particular characteristics among each type. Therefore, this research has discovered and analyzed the subjective view types relative to the occupational consciousness of the dental coordinator for the proper understanding on the characteristics of each type to enable the dental sanitary students and the graduates of the Dental Sanitary Department, who are aspiring to become dental coordinator, as the basic guide material to be actively utilized.
This study is designed to offer basic materials necessary for the instruction of effective clinical practices and the establishment of relationship with patients by means of making an analysis of the characteristics of patients affecting the behavior of students majoring in dental hygiene avoiding patients and countermeasures. With this in mind, the researcher worked with sophomores and juniors exposed to clinical practices during the period ranging from October 22, 2001 to November 9, 2001. The researcher came to the following conclusions on the basis of the findings of this survey. 1. The characteristics of patients influencing the behavior of avoiding them were categorized into appearance characteristics, personality characteristics, treatment-cooperative characteristics, and speech and behavior characteristics. Speech and behavior characteristics(4.26) turned out to be the most influential factor of all, which was followed by treatment-cooperative characteristics(3.68), personality characteristics(3.62) and appearance characteristics(3.42) in the right order. 2. The survey shows that foul breath and obnoxious oral(3.94) cavity were the worst factors of appearance characteristics and that using abusive language and being too aggressive(4.41) were the worst factors of personality characteristics. The study reveals that not putting faith in trainees(4.02) was the highest factor of treatment-cooperative characteristics and that using abusive language(4.50) was the highest factor of speech and behavior characteristics. 3. There was a significant positive relation between the domains of the characteristics of avoiding patients. The study indicates that the more subjects avoided the characteristics of patients, the more they avoided appearance characteristics(r =.444, p<.001) and that the more subjects avoided treatment-cooperative characteristics, the more they avoided appearance characteristics(r=.324, P<.001) and personality characteristics(r=.691, p<.001), and that the more they avoided speech and behavior characteristics, the more they avoided appearance characteristics(r=.265, p<.001) and personality characteristics (r=.531, p<.001). 4. The study shows that there was a significant difference between appearance characteristics and the growth areas of the subjects(p<.05) and that there was a significant difference between the satisfaction of clinical practices(p<.05) and health status(p<.05) in terms of personality characteristics. 5. The subjects avoided preschoolers, whose age ranged from 4 to 6(33.5%), most and avoided boys(71.4%) more than girls. They avoided those who were bereft of jobs(62.9%). And they avoided handicapped persons most in terms of special patients and avoided infant patients(31.0%). 6. The subjects turned out to have negative and passive countermeasures against those patients that had ever been avoided. So the researcher would like to suggest that theoretic education and training programs should be conducted in this respect by incorporating this mailer into the hygiene curriculum.

This case report describes the treatment of two fully edentulous patients with mini-implant overdentures using different implant systems on narrow mandibular alveolar bone ridge. They were complaining about discomfort and pain wearing mandibular conventional complete dentures caused by insufficient retention. Each patient received four miniimplants in the interforaminal area of the mandible using the non-submerged flapless surgical approach. One-body type implant (Slimline, Dentium, Seoul, Korea) was used for a patient and loaded immediately after surgery. Metal housings of O-ring were attached by direct technique. For the other patient, two-piece type implant (LODI, Zest Anchors, Escondido, CA, USA) was used and impressions were made for attachment connection of the Locator's metal housings after 8 weeks of surgery. Within this case report, mandibular miniimplant overdentures using different implant systems showed improvement of patient satisfaction with favorable peri-implant tissue response 6 months after attachment connection. However, long-term follow-up is needed for further evaluation.
