Multiple myositis is a disorder of unknown etiology characterized by an inflammatory myopathy involving striated skeletal muscle The case is about a patient who is 74 years old man. Both of his shoulder girdles and pelvic girdles were suddenly paralyzed. We diagnosed a patient's illness as multiple myositis. Treatment was Herb-medication and rest. And in the case of this patient, power of both shoulder girdles and pelvic girdles with physiolocal condition improved remarkably.

Abdominal distention is a common condition, which usually results from over-eating, rather than from a serious illness. Abdominal distention is often caused by intestinal gas. Abdominal distention may also occasionally result from the accumulation of fluid in the abdomen, which can be a sign of serious medical problems. This stroke patient has been abdominal distention without medical problems. So he was treated by Yuldahansotang(熱多寒少湯) and was improved not only activity daily life but also Abdominal distention.

1. Objectives Purpose of this case is to evaluate the effect of Soyangin Yangkyuksanhwa-tang on the hemichorea caused by hypothalamic infarction. 2. Methods The patient was treated with Yangkyuksanhwa-tang, acupuncture treatment and western medicine. The symptom changes of his hemichorea symptoms were evaluated in hospital. 3. Results and Conclusions After we treated him with Yangkyuksanhwa-tang, his symptoms were decreased.

Hydrocele is an accumulation of serous fluid greater in amount than the few drops normally present within the two layers of the tunica vaginalis. The most common type is simple hydrocele, in which the normally formed tunica vaginalis is distended with fluid. The case is a report about an old man with hydrocele. The hydrocele is founded by pelvis sono. Treatment was Herb-medication and rest. And the size of hydrocele and symptoms were reduced.

Objectives ; A Supplementary Study for Sasangin Identifing is based on Chapter Pathophysiology Part V of [Donggyi Soose Bowon Chobonguan]. And I try to explain that with Sasang Constitutional Theory. After all I want this study given the basis of 'The Guideline of Sasangin's Diagnosis & Treatment(GSDT)'. Methods ; First, I divid ${\ulcorner}$part V${\lrcorner}$ into 4 cartegories (Normal Condition, Abnormal Condition, good or bad Condition, Better or Worse Condition). And then each symtom is analyzed by Sasang Constitutional Medicine(SCM). Conclusions; I am sure that it gives the first step toward Indentifying Sasangin of [Donggyi Soose Bowon]. All of Sasangin Identifing Supplementary are analyzed by SCM. They are divided the identifing for Sasangin classification and Sasangin diagnosis of the disease. And this study will give the basis of ‘GSDT’.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the abdominal symptoms of Sasang constitutional disease to make the basis for the clinical treatment. Methods The study focused on the abdominal symptoms of Soeumin written in "Dongeuisusebowon" and compared it with "Shanghanlun" and "Dongeuibogam". Results & Conclusions Abdominal symptoms of Soeumin exterior disease usually appeared in lower abdomen caused by deficiency of ascending of Kidney yang qi, and abdominal symptoms of Soeumin interior disease were related to degree of warm qi of the stomach and cold qi of the large intestine.

1. Background and Purpose 1 intented to be helpful to treat diabetes through a clinical study of lndongdeungjikolpitang effect of soyangm 2. Methods I studied 6 patients with middle diabetes who were diagnosed by Soyangin at department of Sasang constitutional Medicine in Dongeui Oriental Hospital during 1 year from August. 2001 to July. 2002. and then I investigated the clinical symptoms of the diabetics and analyzed level of examination after administration of lndongdeungjikolpitang 3. Results and Conclusion lndongdeungjikolpitang was administered to six diabetic patients, So-yang-in for 8 weeks. The symptoms such as frequent hunger(P<0.05), decrease of body weight(P<0.05) have improved after the treatment. As results, level of HbAlC(P<0.05), total protein(P<0.05) and blood pressure(P<0.05) significantly decreased after administration of Indongdeungjikolpitang.

Objective The purpose of this case study was to report improvements of a Soyangin patient with dysgeusia which a salty taste persisted in the mouth. Methods This patient was identified as Soyangin and treated by Yangkyuksanwha-tang-gamibang, acupuncture and moxa. Patient's symptom was assessed G/A(Global Assessment). Results and Conclusions The symptom of a lasting salty taste in the mouth was improved remarkably after using Korean medicine treatment, especially Yangkyuksanwha-tang-gamibang.

Severe chronic coughing infrequently causes rib fractures and these fractures belong to Stress fracture and these rib fractures are given the term of "cough fractur". Cough fracture usually occurs in one rib and in the middle of the rib between the costochondral junction and the costal angle. The case is a report about a young woman with multiple rib fractures which were caused by severe coughing. The Chest PA and Rib series test were normal but Rib fractures were founded by Bone scan test. Treatment was Herb-medication, rest and restriction of work and symptoms were reduced.
