54 clinical isolates of Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans showed distinct hybrdization patern(DAN fingerprinting patterns) when the bacterial DNA were hybridized with randomly cloned 4.7 - kb DNA probe. The frequency of the genotypic distribution demonstrated that type C was the most prevalent genotype, the next being D, NT, A, B, and E in the descending order. The most prevalent serotype was serotype c, the next being a, nd, and b in the descending order. It was noted that the one serotype can represent more than two different genotypes and that multiple genotypic variants can also exist in the periodontal pockets within the sam subject.

A three-dimensional linearised potential theory is presented for the prediction of motions and dynamic structural responses of twin-hull ships travelling with forward speed in regular waves. Comparisons between theoretical and experimental results are shown for the motion responses and lateral wave loads of an ASR(anti-submarine rescue) catamaran. In general, good agreement between theory and experiment is found except for some discrepancies that are believed to be caused by neglect of forward speed effects on free surface.

In this study, to figure out the total benefit of PEFP it is necessary to estimate the various kinds of social benefit only in one measure - money unit. After this, by adding them up, the total social benefit of PEFP could be shown up. In this way, the economic evaluation system of PEFP has been developed.

Efficient Si(100) etching by thermal H atoms at low substrate temperatures has been achieved. Gas-phase etching product $SiH_4$(g) upon H atom bombardment resulting from direct abstraction of $SiH_3$(a) by impinging H atoms was detected with a quadrupole mass spectrometer over the substrate temperature range of 105-408 K Facile depletion of all surface silyl ($SiH_3$) groups the dissociative adsorption product of disilane ($Si_2H_6$) at 105K from Si(100)2$\times$1 by D atoms and continuous regeneration and removal of $SiD_3$(a) were all consumed. These results provide direct evidence for efficient silicon surface etching by thermal hydrogen bombardment at cryogenic temperatures as low as 105K We attribute the high etching efficiency to the formation and stability of $SiH_3$(a) on Si(100) at lowered surface temperatures allowing the $SiH_3$(a) abstraction reaction by additional H atom to produce $SiH_4$((g).

According to the Korea Tectonic Map, the Korean Peninsula can be divided into seven tectonic units and each of them shows a peculiar deformation pattern. In order to estimate an amount of crustal deformation in the Korean peninsula, we obtained the velocity vector fields of South Korea by dealing with the data set of the years 2001 and 2002, measured from the permanent GPS stations across the country To obtain a relatively precise coordinate of each station, we used GAMIT that is a comprehensive GPS analysis package developed at MIT, Then, a Kalman filter called GLOBK is used to combine the results from GAMIT and to estimate the relative velocity vector for the crustal deformations. The crustal movement of South Korea is turned out to be about 1mm per year westward and about 0.6mm per year southward. In case of Suwon and Seosan(Gyeonggi Massif), the movement occurs slightly to the north-east direction. The movement of a relative velocity field in the tectonic unit is unidirectional, yet the magnitude of the velocity is very small.

정보통신공사의 공사비 산정은 그동안 원가계산 방식으로 이루어져 왔으나, 최근 들어 건설 및 전기분야에서와 같이 실적공사비를 활용할 수 있도록 제도 시행을 추진하고 있다. 그러나 실적공사비를 적용하기 위해서는 과거 공사비 실적자료를 현가화 할 수 있는 지수의 개발이 전제되어야 함에도, 그동안 정보통신공사는 한국건설기술연구원의 통신공사비지수(기타 특수건설의 최하위지수)나 한국은행의 생산지물가지수를 이용할 수밖에 없는 한계를 지니고 있었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실적적산 데이터를 기반으로 정보통신공사의 특성을 고려한 정보통신공사비지수를 제시하고자 한다. 개발된 지수는 실적공사비 자료의 현가화 뿐 아니라, 물가변동에 따른 계약단가 조정(Escalation), 정보통신분야의 거시적인 동향을 파악할 수 있는 주요 지표로 정보통신공사의 사업비산정 및 관련 분야의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.

TR-60 틸트로터 무인기는 전장 3m, 최대이륙중량 200kg로서 2013년 2월 자동천이비행에 성공한 비행체로서 현재 해상운용을 위한 함상이착륙기술을 개발 중에 있다. 무인기 해상운용은 육상보다 심한 염무와 바람과 선박의 운동에 의한 착륙대의 이동 등의 열악한 환경에서 이루어져야 한다. 이동이 있는 착륙대와 착륙장 주변의 장애물을 고려하면 정확한 착륙을 위한 정밀한 항법유도가 요구된다. TR-60의 정밀항법유도를 위해서 수cm 단위의 정확도를 갖는 RTK GPS 기반의 정밀상대항법과 이동 착륙장 대한 자동착륙유도를 설계하고 구현함으로 함상자동 이착륙 기술을 개발하였다. 본 논문에서는 RTK GPS 기반의 정밀상대항법과 자동착륙유도에 대한 연구와 함상접근착륙절차에 따른 자동착륙정확도 측정 비행시험 결과를 기술하였다.

Benign symmetric lipomatosis is a rare disease. Its main characteristic is the symmetric massive deposits of adipose tissue, in unencapsulated form, predominatly on the neck, shoulder, back and upper exterimities. We report a case of a 61 year old man with benign symmetric lipomatosis. He had a history of alcoholic liver cirrhosis. Due to cosmetic defomity, he wanted surgical treatment . We did a cervical lipectomy. He was satisfied with the result, and there was no evidence of recurrence.

A barge-type structure has been recently watched since The Floating Structures Association of Japan proposed the new concept as the most suitable one of floating airports. In this paper, the method, which is based on a combination of a three-dimensional source distribution method and the wave interaction theory is applied to very large floating structure of barge-type. The calculated results show good agreement with the experimental and calculated ones by Yago and remarkable characteristics concerning the hydroelastic behavior of the very large floating structure on the effects of hydrodynamic interactions and choice of body modelling.
