충돌안전성에 미치는 블랭크형상의 영향 (Effect of Blank Shapes on the Impact Safety of Stamped Parts)

  • The effects of blank shape on the safety of stamped parts are studied through the comparison of an optimal blank and the corresponding reference blank shape to show further advantage of the optimal blank. In order to carry out this study, stamping process has been analyzed and the forming history, e.g. accumulated effective strain and thickness has been incorporated in the crash analysis. The reference blank has been determined following to the actual industry guideline, and excessive material to the desired shape has been trimmed off before crash analysis for the objective comparison. Through the study, appreciable increase of impact safety has not been observed and the effective of blank shape is verified not to be significant.

  • Even though most of domestic corporations are doing various activities to reduce disasters, it is true that those are actually limited to some parts of business or the formalities in order to obtain specific certificates. For that reason, this writer study a efficient utilization of a guideline about accident provision and business continuity management for less disasters of companies, prevent interruption of critical mission. In short, it is required to operate an effective disaster recovery system and safety management system integrated by a mutual recognition on the relevant parts and different parts. And there is a need to establish a integrated recovery center in order to manage disaster recovery system realistic and effective.

Development of classification criteria for non-reactor nuclear facilities in Korea

  • Non-reactor nuclear facilities are increasing remarkably in Korea combined with advanced technologies such as life and space engineering, and the diversification of the nuclear industry. However, the absence of a basic classification guideline related to the design of non-reactor nuclear facilities has created confusion whenever related projects are carried out. In this paper, related domestic and international technical guidelines are reviewed to present the classification criteria of non-reactor nuclear facilities in Korea. Based on these criteria, the classification of structures, systems and components (SSCs) for safety controls is presented. Using the presented classification criteria, classification of a hot cell facility, a representative non-reactor nuclear facility, was performed. As a result of the classification, the hot cell facility is classified as the hazard category 3, accordingly, the safety class was classified as non-nuclear safety, the seismic category as non-seismic (RW-IIb), and the quality class as manufacturers' standards (S).

  • 119 구급대원들이 사용하는 현장 검사 장비 중 하나인 자가 혈당측정기는 결과 값이 정확해야 환자에게 적절한 처치를 제공할 수 있다. 연구 최초 조사 시점 이후 현재까지도 119 구급대원 현장업무 지침에 현장 검사 장비의 작동 유무, 수량 등을 확인하는 것은 있으나, 장비의 점검에 수량, 작동 여부 등은 있으나 본 연구에서 분석한 정도관리 내용은 없다. 현장검사 장비의 질 관리가 되지 않고 있다는 것은 환자에 대한 부정확한 평가와 이로 인한 불필요한 처치와 과소, 과대처치 또는 환자 상태가 악화될 가능성을 높일 수 있다. 본 연구를 통해, 앞으로 119 구급대원의 혈당측정기를 포함한 모든 현장검사 장비의 사용실태조사가 이루어져야 하고, 119 구급대 현장 업무 지침에 현장 검사 장비 정도관리를 추가하여야 하겠다. 또한, 현장 검사 장비가 관련 지침에 따라서 적절한 질 관리가 이루어져야 하고, 지역에서 관련 업무 전문가나 응급의료지도를 담당하고 있는 지도의사에게 관리되는 것이 합당하겠다.

  • Since steam generator (SG) tubes are located in the boundary between the primary and secondary systems of nuclear power plant (NPP), the SG is one of the most important components in the aspects of the safety of NPP. The magnetite ($Fe_30_4$) deposition, so-called fouling, is generally known as a major aging mechanism of CANDU SGs, and this aging mechanism makes the heat transfer efficiency between the primary and secondary systems of NPP reduced. Therefore, the development of SG safety assessment system which can evaluate the effect of the SG aging degradation mechanism should be needed for safety of NPP. In this study, through the suggestion of the guideline for SG safety assessment, it is possible to strengthen the basic of establishing the effective SG aging management technique. The SG safety assessment is carried out by CATHENA(Canadian Algorithm for THErmalhydraulic Network Analysis). It is possible to determine the integrity of SGs by identifying the main safety parameters which can be changed by the aging degradation of CANDU SGs.

철도 비상사고 비상대응 훈련 프로르갬 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Developing the Training Program for the Emergency Response against Railroad Emergency Accidents)

  • The Railroad Safety Act was implemented in 2005 due to the increased concerns regarding railroad safety since the Daegu subway fire in 2003. In line with this, the Act became a standard to build the total railroad safety systems which has been overlooked compared to the quantitative growth of the railroad business. The minister of the ministry of Land, Transportation and Maritime Affairs lays down the Act for railroad Companies to conduct emergency programs in response to the emergency occurring on the railroad such as fire, explosion, derailment, etc. By enacting the Safety Act, the nation's construction of the contingency management system for railroad emergency increased", and it made the railroad company prepare the Emergency SOP by establishing 'The guideline on the Establishment of the railroad Emergency Plan' in order to support the efficiency of the Act. In line with this, I would like to analyze a matter of system development and the main function of the "railroad Emergency Training Program" for activation improvement of standardized operation procedure developed through the 'Total capitalize Safety Technology development'.

농약등록기준 준수 현황과 수도 및 엽채소류 사용량 조사 (Survey on Compliance of Pesticide Registration Standard and Pesticide Usage of Paddy Rice and Leaf Vegetables in Korea)

  • 농약 등록 후에 농업 생산 현장에서 사용되는 농약에 대한 사용실태 및 작물별 단위면적당 사용량을 조사하기 위하여 2003년부터 2004년까지 작물별 주산단지별, 재배면적을 감안하여 292명의 농가를 선정하여 조사하였다. 농약안전사용기준 준수사항은 벼, 엽채소류 재배농가 모두가 대체적으로 잘 지키고 있었다. 조사농민의 대부분은 농약의 선택정보와 구매결정은 시판상이나 농협판매담당자의 권고에 의하여 결정하고 있었다. 작물별 단위면적당 농약사용량은 벼 5.51 kg $ha^{-1}$, 노지배추 3.91 kg $ha^{-1}$, 시설배추 2.93 kg $ha^{-1}$, 상추 0.76 kg $ha^{-1}$, 시금치 0.55 kg $ha^{-1}$, 잎들깨 1.34 kg $ha^{-1}$, 부추 4.83 kg $ha^{-1}$, 열무 0.42 kg $ha^{-1}$로 조사되었다. 벼, 상추, 시금치, 잎들깨에서는 사용량이 4년 전에 비해 감소하였으나 배추는 농약사용량이 증가하였다.

  • This paper describes the theoretical background and detailed structure of Navi-HEGS (Navigation system Human factors Evaluation and Guideline System) which has been developed for the human factors and HMI(Human-Machine Interface) researches for a CNS (Car Navigation System) and a digital map. Navi-HEGS is and integrated system that consists of a digital map UIMS(User Interface Management System), a CNS simulator, various evaluation tools, and a design guideline system. If Navi-HEGS is properly applied and utilized, it is possible to extract the substantial users requirements and preferences of a CNS and a digital map and then, these requirements can be simulated and evaluated with various human factors evaluation techniques. Applications of Navi-HEGS can improve the CNS usability, drivers safety and performance that directly affect the success of ITS(Intelligent Transport System). Also, results can be used as the basic data to establish the standards and design guidelines for the driver-centered CNS design.

  • There are many attempts to apply AI technology to diagnose facilities or improve the work efficiency of the power industry. The emergence of new machine learning technologies, such as deep learning, is accelerating the digital transformation of the power sector. The problem is that traditional power systems face security risks when adopting state-of-the-art AI systems. This adoption has convergence characteristics and reveals new cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities to the power system. This paper deals with the security measures and implementations of the power system using machine learning. Through building a commercial facility operations forecasting system using machine learning technology utilizing power big data, this paper identifies and addresses security vulnerabilities that must compensated to protect customer information and power system safety. Furthermore, it provides security guidelines by generalizing security measures to be considered when applying AI.

  • The case of laboratory-acquired SARS Corona virus infection in Taiwan has revealed a number of weaknesses in management, construction, and oversight of laboratories. Also, with the increased demands for bio-safety laboratory, there is an urgent need to develop a uniform and comprehensive guidance for architects and construction engineers in the preparation of design and construction. This research investigates the key elements for designers, engineers, and potential owners in biosafety laboratory design and construction. It defines key elements and determines major relationships and standards that should be adhered to when developing site layout. In addition to layout planning and design guidance of biosafety laboratory, this research also interviews the perspective of architects and survey the state-of-the-art technology in Taiwan. It represents the portraits by site investigation. The purpose of the research is to provide guideline of design and avoid potential future conflict to ensure the critical continuity of functions.
