In this study, nonlinear static and dynamic aeroelastic analyses for a high-aspect-ratio wing have been performed. To achieve these aims, the transonic small disturbance (TSD) theory for the aerodynamic analysis and the large deflection beam theory considering a geometrical nonlinearity for the structural analysis are applied, respectively. For the coupling between fluid and structure, the transformation of a displacement from the structural mesh to the aerodynamic grid is performed by a shape function which is used for the finite element and the inverse transformation of force by work equivalent load method. To validate the current method, the present analysis results of a high-aspect-ratio wing are compared with the experimental results. Static deformations in the vertical and torsional directions caused by an angle of attack and gravity loading are compared with experimental results. Also, static and dynamic aeroelastic characteristics are investigated. The comparisons of the flutter speed and frequency between a linear and nonlinear analysis are presented.
Cyber penetration attacks can not only damage cyber space but can attack entire infrastructure such as electricity, gas, water, and nuclear power, which can cause enormous damage to the lives of the people. Also, cyber space has already been defined as the fifth battlefield, and strategic responses are very important. Most of recent cyber attacks are caused by malicious code, and since the number is more than 1.6 million per day, automated analysis technology to cope with a large amount of malicious code is very important. However, it is difficult to deal with malicious code encryption, obfuscation and packing, and the dynamic analysis technique is not limited to the performance requirements of dynamic analysis but also to the virtual There is a limit in coping with environment avoiding technology. In this paper, we propose a machine learning based malicious code analysis technique which improve the weakness of the detection performance of existing analysis technology while maintaining the light and high-speed analysis performance applicable to commercial endpoints. The results of this study show that 99.13% accuracy, 99.26% precision and 99.09% recall analysis performance of 71,000 normal file and malicious code in commercial environment and analysis time in PC environment can be analyzed more than 5 per second, and it can be operated independently in the endpoint environment and it is considered that it works in complementary form in operation in conjunction with existing antivirus technology and static and dynamic analysis technology. It is also expected to be used as a core element of EDR technology and malware variant analysis.

A driver interacts directly with the car seat at all times. There are ergonomic characteristics that have to be followed to produce comfortable seats. However, most of previous researches focused on either static or dynamic condition only. In addition, research on car seat development is critically lacking although Malaysia herself manufactures its own car. Hence, this paper integrates objective measurements and subjective evaluation to predict seat discomfort. The objective measurements consider both static and dynamic conditions. Steven's psychophysics power law has been used in which after expansion; ${\psi}\;=\;a+b{\varphi}_s^{\alpha}+c{\varphi}_v^{\beta}$ where ${\psi}$ is discomfort sensation, ${\varphi}_s^{\alpha}$ is static modality with exponent ${\alpha}$ and ${\varphi}_v^{\beta}$ is dynamic modality with exponent ${\beta}$. The subjects in this study were local and the cars used were Malaysian made compact car. Static objective measurement was the seat pressure distribution measurement. The experiment was carried out on the driver's seat in a real car with the engine turned off. Meanwhile, the dynamic objective measurement was carried out in a moving car on real roads. During pressure distribution and vibration transmissibility experiments, subjects were requested to evaluate their discomfort levels using vehicle seat discomfort survey questionnaire together with body map diagram. From subjective evaluations, seat pressure and vibration dose values exponent for static modality ${\alpha}$ = 1.51 and exponent for dynamic modality ${\beta}$ = 1.24 were produced. The curves produced from the $E_{q.s}$ showed better $R_{-sq}$ values (99%) when both static and dynamic modalities were considered together as compared to Eq. with single modality only (static or dynamic only R-Sq = 95%). In conclusion, car seat discomfort prediction gives better result when seat development considered both static and dynamic modalities; and using ergonomic approach.

The purpose of this study is to verify the performance of a static mixer for mixing of biogas and town gas by numerical analysis and demonstration test. The reason for designing a static mixer is that there is a need to mix town gas with biogas when there is less production of biogas in biogas sites. Non-uniformity in the outlet section was calculated for investigating the performance of a static mixer. Non-uniformity was based on the mole fraction of methane in a mixture of biogas and town gas. Low non-uniformity means that biogas and town gas are mixed well through this static mixer. Also, pressure drop at the outlet section of a static mixer was calculated. The pressure drop is less than 0.2% in this static mixer. This static mixer is suitable for applying to a 5MW bio-gas turbine through the demonstration test in the field.
Dynamic properties are pivotal in soil analysis, yet their experimental determination is hampered by complex methodologies and the need for costly equipment. This study aims to predict dynamic soil properties using static properties that are relatively easier to obtain, employing machine learning techniques. The static properties considered include soil cohesion, friction angle, water content, specific gravity, and compressional strength. In contrast, the dynamic properties of interest are the velocities of compressional and shear waves. Data for this study are sourced from 26 boreholes, as detailed in a geotechnical investigation report database, comprising a total of 130 data points. An importance analysis, grounded in the random forest algorithm, is conducted to evaluate the significance of each dynamic property. This analysis informs the prediction of dynamic properties, prioritizing those static properties identified as most influential. The efficacy of these predictions is quantified using the coefficient of determination, which indicated exceptionally high reliability, with values reaching 0.99 in both training and testing phases when all input properties are considered. The conventional method is used for predicting dynamic properties through Standard Penetration Test (SPT) and compared the outcomes with this technique. The error ratio has decreased by approximately 0.95, thereby validating its reliability. This research marks a significant advancement in the indirect estimation of the relationship between static and dynamic soil properties through the application of machine learning techniques.

An overview of Silicon Carbide (SiC) Static Induction Transistor (SIT) development is presented. Basic conduction mechanisms are introduced and discussed, including ohmic, exponential, and space charge limited conduction (SCLC) mechanisms. Additionally, the impact of velocity saturation and temperature effects on SCLC are reviewed. The small-signal model, breakdown voltage, power density, and different gate structures are also discussed, before a final review of published SiC SIT results. Published S-band (3-4 GHz) results include 9.5 dB of gain and output power of 120 W, and L-band (1.3 GHz) results include 400 W output power, 7.7 dB of gain, and power density of 16.7 W/cm.

Large-scaled area and aligned copper oxide nanowires have been synthesized by a vapor-phase approach to the facial synthesis of copper oxide nanowires supported on the surface of a copper gasket. The effects of annealing temperature and time were investigated. Long and aligned nanowires can only formed within a narrow temperature range from 400 to $500^{\circ}C$ for 4 hrs. Annealing copper gasket in static air produces large-area, uniform, but not well vertically aligned nanowires along the copper gasket surface. The surface of copper gasket is converted into bicrystal CuO nanowires was observed after the copper gasket is annealed under static air condition.

Transesterfication of vegetable oils and methanol with alkaline catalyst was carried out to produce biodiesel fuel by continuous process. The process consists of two static mixers, one tubular reactor and two coolers and gave $96{\sim}99$% of methyl ester yield from soybean oil and rapeseed oil. Experimental variables were the molar ratios of methanol to vegetable oil, alkaline catalyst contents, flow rates, mixer element number. The optimum ranges of operating variables were as follows; reaction temperature of $70^{\circ}C$, l:6 of molar ratio of methanol to oil, O.4%(w/w) sodium hydroxide based on oil, static mixer elements number of 24 and 4 min. residence time.
Energy-efficient contrarotating propeller systems have been recently reviewed as one of alternative means in marine car-carrier applications. Contrarotating rotors preclude the usage of conventional plain journal bearings due to the lack of load carrying capacity. A new multi-recess hydrostatic contrarotating journal beating test facility has been designed and installed to test the static load carrying capacity. Measurements of flow rates and orbits have been investigated by testings on a overhung-type contrarotating rotor system which is supported by a hydrostatic journal bearing. Numerical results of static equilibria were compared with test results. Various contrarotating speed combinations, and supply pressure conditions were selected. The numerical predictions of orbit centers and flow rates are generally accurate.
This study was carried out to investigate some mechanical properties for wood rational utilization of heartwood and sapwood in radiata pine according to basic density, ring width and proportion of latewood which were grown in New Zealand. This result were summarized as follow: Heartwood showed 35.78(MPa) of the compression strength parallel to the grain while sapwood showed 42.08(MPa). The modulus of rupture in static bending was higher in sapwood showing 86.12(MPa) than in heartwood 72.99(MPa) Heartwood had 7.38(GPa) for the modulus of elasticity in static bending and sapwood 8.17(GPa). As the basic density and proportion of latewood increased: compression strength parallel to the grain, MOR and MOE in static bending had a tendency to increase. As ring width increased, the mechanical properties decreased.
