  • Shaft position sensing is essential in Switched Reluctance Motor(SRM) in order to synchronize the phase excitation pulses to the rotor position. In low cost application, particularly at low power level, the shaft position sensor is too costly. This paper describes low cost SRM drive system that can control torque and speed utilizing a optointerrupter with slotted disc. The validity of the proposed scheme is verified by experimental results for 6/4 SRM drive system.

  • 본 논문에서는 일반적인 스위치드 릴럭턴스 전동기(Switched Reluctance Motor, SRM)의 고정자 철심에 영구자석과 조합된 구조를 가지는 하이브리드형 스위치드 릴럭턴스 전동기(Hybrid SRM, HSRM)을 제안하였다. 제안된 HSRM은 기존 블렌더용 2상 4/2극 SRM의 인덕턴스 및 토크 특성과 비교하였다. 그 결과 제안된 HSRM은 높은 토크 출력 및 소형화가 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • SRM의 토크는 상전류와 인덕턱스의 기울기에 따라 달라진다. 그러나 자기회로의 포화로 인하여 원하는 토크를 제어하기 어렵다. 원하는 토크를 발생시키기 위해 SRM 드라이브는 스위치-온각, 스위치-오프각 그리고 인가 접압에 의해 제어된다. 스위치-온, 오프 각 에의해 원하는 전류와 토크를 제어할수있다. 본 논문은 스위치 온, 오프각을 제어하는 최적제어방식을 제안하였다. 스위치 오프 각은 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 효율을 기준으로 결정하였으며, 스위치 온각은 부하에 의해 결정되었다. 도통각은 토크제어와 속도제어를 위해 GA-신경회로망을 이용하여 제어하였다.

  • Switched Reluctance Motor has doubly salient poles in stator and rotor, windings are wound in just stator and no magnet or windings on the rotor. This configuration is robust mechanically and thermally. The inverter of SRM is more robust than that of induction or brushless DC(BLDC) motor, but still its drive is comparatively expensive for home appliance. To drive the conventional three or four-phase SRM, 6 to 8 power switches are required when asymmetric bridge inverter is employed. Generally, more than 50% of the cost for the SRM drive is allocated to power devices and gate drives. This paper proposed single phase SRM that have both radial and axial air gaps. The stator and rotor were stacked with two types of stampings that have different diameters. This configuration is very effective to increase align inductance(Lmax). The high value of Lmax increases the motor efficiency and power density. The proposed single phase SRM(Claw SRM) can be driven by only two power switches. To show the validity of the proposed idea, the analysis using finite element method(FEM) and experimental works are carried out. The proposed SPSRM can be driven with high efficiency and can be made compactly and inexpensively because of high value of align inductance and less number of switches. For the comparison, we used same stator for three-phase and single phase, and slightly different stator and rotor for proposed single phase SRM(Claw SRM)

  • 본 논문에서는 신뢰할 수 있는 SRM 구동시스템과 기존의 PI제어기에 4개의 규칙으로 이루어진 FLM(Fuzzy Logic Modifier)를 제안하였다. 저가격 원칩 마이크로컨트롤러인 인텔사의 i80C196KC는 속도 제어기와 초기 기동을 포함한 SRM 구동 컨트롤러를 설계하기 위해 사용되었다. 폐루프 시스템에 안정된 효과를 보이는 FLM을 Pl 제어기에 추가함으로써 부적절하게 설정된 PI 제어기의 이득값에 대해 강인한 제어성능을 보인다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험결과는 6/4극 SRM에 대해 제안된 제어 방식이 우수함을 보여준다.

저토크리플 및 역률개선을 위한 수정된 단상 SRM 구동시스템 (Modified Single-Phase SRM Drive for Low Torque Ripple and Power Factor Improvement)

  • The single-phase switched reluctance motor(SRM) drive requires DC source which is generally supplied through a rectifier connected with a commercial source. The rectifier is consist of a diode full bridge and a filter circuit. Usually the filter circuit uses capacitor with large value capacitance to reduce ripple component of DC power. Although the peak torque ripple of SRM is small, the short charge and discharge current of the filter capacitor draws the low power factor and system efficiency. A modified single phase SRM drive system is presented in this paper, which includes drive circuit realizing reduction of torque ripple and improvement of power factor. In the proposed drive circuit, one switching part and diode which can separate the output of AC/DC rectifier from the filter capacitor is added. Also, a upper switch of drive circuit is exchanged a diode in order to reduce power switching device. Therefore the number of power switch device is not changed, two diodes are only added in the SRM drive. To verify the proposed system, some simulation and experimental results are presented.

  • This paper presents a calculating method of switching angle for adaptive switched reluctance motor (SRM) drive of a drill. The operation of the SRM is completely characterized by the flux linked by one phase winding which depends only on the current in that same phase winding and the rotor position. An efficiently adaptive SRM drive is possible on appropriately scheduling the commutation angles with accurate rotor position, supplied current value and speed information. An adaptive SRM drive with reduction torque ripple should be controlled by an optimized phase current control along with rotor position. Therefore, we are suggested a computing method of switching turn-on and off angles for adaptationally SRM operation with varied rotor speed and load. To probe the computing method, we have some simulation and experiment, it is shown a good result that can be computing the optimized switching angles for an electric drill motor.

  • Recently. switched reluctance motor is noticed because it is simple in structure and mechanically strong. SRM has great competitive power, and the study is developed about improving the characteristics of SRM. The current density of winding becomes larger in designing SRM that has the characteristics of the low voltage and high current. Hence the current density of SRM of a vehicle is high. And in order that we drive SRM in variable speed and protect the switching device. the current of SRM is limited by chopping. So it is impossible to obtain object value of output characteristics by limited current. In this paper, the author design the shape of SRM from Miller's output equation, and verify the design of SRM by using FEM. The waveform of chopping current is predicted by simulation and concur with experimental result. And the torque is improved by applying overlap current.

황 산화 세균인 Thiobacillus novellus SRM 성장 최적화 (Optimization of the Sulfur-oxidzing Bacteria, Thiobacillus novellus SRM)

  • 황 화합물 악취를 제거하기 위하여 분뇨처리장에서 황 산화 세균을 분리하여 최적성장 조건을 조사하였다. 분뇨처리장에서 1차로 분리한 균주의 생리$.$생화학적 특성 등을 비교한 결과 Thiobacillus novellus SRM으로 명명하였고, 최적 pH와 배양온도는 pH 7.0과 3$0^{\circ}C$이며, 균주의 공기 주입량은 1.0vvm이었다. 균주농도에 따른 균의 비증식 속도를 직선화한 결과 미생물의 최대 비 증식속도는 0.032$hr^{-l}$ , V$_{max}$ 는 1.83h$^{-l}$ 이 되고, $K_{m}$ 은 0.42였다. Thiobacillus 종의 증식속도는 비교적 느리나, 본 연구에서 사용한 Thiobacillus novellus SRM은 증식속도가 빨라 기상의 황 화합물 악취 제거에 이용할 수 있는 유용한 균주로 판단되어진다.
