In this study, we compare multivariate R-techniques in the up-to-date versions of SAS, SPSS, Minitab and S-plus. The direct input method by typing in command is considered for SAS, while the menu-driven method is considered for SPSS, Minitab and S-plus. Comparison was made in terms of input data format, input option, charts and outputs.

최근 여러 분야에서 로지스틱 회귀에 대한 필요성과 그 응용이 급증하면서 이를 분석하기 위한 통계패키지가 많이 개발되어 사용되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 자료의 유형에 따라 활용할 수 있는 여러 형태의 로지스틱 회귀모형을 간단히 살펴보고, SPSS, SAS, STATA, MINITAB과 같은 통계패키지를 사용하여 로지스틱 회귀모형에 적용할 때 각각 다룰 수 있는 범위와 그 특징에 대해 다룬다.

최근 들어 생존분석 기법이 여러 분야에서 관심을 모으고 있을 뿐 아니라 생존자료를 분석하기 위한 여러 패키지들도 개발되어 연구되고 있다. 본고에서는 생존분석의 여러 모형을 간략히 소개하고 생존자료를 분석하기 위하여 널리 사용되고 있는 패키지인 SAS, SPSS, STATA의 기능을 찾아보고 그들의 특징을 비교 조사할 것이다.

최근 들어 반복측정 자료에 대한 관심이 늘어나면서 이러한 자료를 분석하기 위한 통계패키지가 많이 개발되어 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 연속형 반복측정 자료를 분석할 수 있는 통계모형들을 간단하게 개괄해보고 SAS, BMDP, S-PLUS, SPSS, MINITAB과 같은 통계 패키지 중에서 이러한 통계모형들을 다룰 수 있는 프로그램들을 정리해보고 그 특징들을 고찰해보았다. 그 중에서 특히 SAS의 PROC MIXED와 BMDP의 5V를 구체적으로 살펴보았다.

본 논문에서는 시계열 자료 분석을 위한 마이크로 컴퓨터용 통계패키지인 TIMESLAB을 소개하였다. TIMESALB은 종래의 통계 분석용 패키지인 SPSS, SAS, TSP 들이 대형 컴퓨터 시스템에 맞도록 설계되어 있어 PC에 서 활용하기에는 많은 디스크 용량을 필요로 하는 등의 문제점을 모두 극복 한 PC용 시계열 자료 분석 프로그램이다. TIMESLAB은 대화용으로 설계되 어 있고 아주 적은 하드 디스크 용량만 가지고서도 쉽게 접근이 가능한 편 리한 시스템의 그 구성, 활용 및 명령어들을 제시하였고, 예제 프로그램과 그 결과를 제시하였다.

The online Web-based survey systems have much more merits than offline ones in terms of time and efficiency. In this reasons I design and implement online web-based survey system with functions of information retrieval, statistical operation, SPSS code generation, and survey administration. There are two main purposes in design. One is to automate most steps of surveying. This can provide efficiency to researchers. Another is to be able to automatically generate code for SPSS or SAS. This system has not been fully implemented yet. But we can expect the reduction of research time and manpower.

A computer software for nonlinear regression analysis, NLIN90, was developed to provide easy access and useful information for more precise analysis which can be obtained from the newly developed theory. Together with the elementary statistics, it provides statistics for curvature analysis of model function and of each parameter, for curvaure analysis of transformed parameters, for experimental design analysis, and for residual analysis. Easy access is obtained by utilizing a database of nonlinear models.
