IPTV 소셜네트워크서비스를 위한 개인화에 관한 연구 (Research on Personalization for Social Network Service in IPTV)

  • 웹을 기반으로 하는 소셜네트워크서비스(SNS:Social Network Service)는 비약적 발전을 거듭하여 다양한 형태로 사용자에게 제공되고 있다. 관계/관심에 기반 한 서비스로 사람들의 참여와 관계에 의해서 Data가 쌓이고 이를 통해 다시 지속적인 참여와 관계를 유도하는 방식의 SNS는 웹을 기반으로 시작하여 모바일시장으로 확장되었다. 모바일 시장에서의 성공적인 SNS 사업모델의 개발은 모바일이 가지고 있는 사용자의 사용행태를 기반으로 한 서비스 창출에 그 요인이 있다고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 배경에서 TV를 활용한 SNS 개발이 IPTV 사업자를 중심으로 국내외에서 지속적으로 연구되고 있다. 하지만 SNS를 위해 필수적인 요소인 TV에서의 개인화는 TV의 공공적 성격에 의해 연구의 진행이 미진한 실정이다. 이 연구는 IPTV에서의 개인화 방안을 사용자 행태분석을 통해 연구하고자 한다. TV의 개별 사용자를 위한 개인화는 PC나 모바일 기기와의 개인화와는 다른 방식의 개인화를 요구한다. 따라서 개별, 가족구성원 그룹별, 가족구성원 전체별로 개인화의 유형을 분리하고 이에 대한 행태분석을 실시한 결과 공공재 성격이 강한 TV에서의 개인화는 크게 개인화의 정도, 개인화의 유형, 개인화의 표현방식, 개인화의 구성방식에 있어서 PC나 모바일 기기와 다른 차이점이 있었다.

  • Social networking service (SNS) is a service that allows people to share information, manage relationships with others, and express themselves on the Internet. The number of SNS users have increased explosively with the growth of mobile devices such as smartphones. As the influence of SNS has grown extensively, potential threats to privacy have also become pervasive. The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the main factors that affect users' intentions to use security functions provided by their SNS. The main theories for this study include the rational choice theory and the theory of planned behavior. This study has identified the factors that affect intention to use security functions. In addition, security function awareness and information security awareness are found to be important antecedents for intention to use security functions. The results of this study implies that when SNS providers develop security policies, they should consider the ways to improve users information security awareness and security function awareness simultaneously.

SNS 사회적 상호작용 과부하에 따른 테크노스트레스 (The Impact of Technostress on Social Interaction Overload in Social Network Service)

  • 상호작용 속도의 증가는 과잉 관계(over-relations)의 문제가 나타날 수 있다. 과잉 관계로 인한 심리적, 시간적 부담으로 SNS에 대한 피로감을 느껴 SNS 이용을 기피하는 이용자들이 생기고 있다. SNS 피로감(fatigue), SNS 불안감(anxiety) 등 SNS 이용으로 인해 발생된 부작용에 관한 사항들은 'SNS 스트레스'라고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 SNS에 대한 부정적인 측면을 스트레스라는 관점에서 살펴보며, 스트레스의 발생 원인을 상호작용의 과잉에서 찾고자 한다. 본 연구는 페이스북 이용자들을 대상으로 총 261부를 분석에 활용하였다. SEM(Structural Equation Model) 분석 결과, 모든 연구가설이 채택되었다. 정보공유와 커뮤니케이션 모두 사회적 상호작용 과부하에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 사회적 상호작용 과부하가 스트레스를 불러일으키는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 실증적으로 SNS 피로감을 유발시키는 원인으로 상호작용성을 대입해 SNS가 가진 특징이 오히려 부정적인 결과를 초래할 수 있다는 것을 검증하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

소셜네트워크 서비스(SNS)에서의 자아노출 행위탐색 : 개인적 속성과 사회적 영향효과를 중심으로 (Exploring Self-Presentation Behaviors in SNS : Focusing on Personal Characteristics and Social Influences)

  • This study aims to investigate the usage patterns of users in Social Network Services (SNS) where is an upsurge. Specifically, the paper considers the reason why young people more and more prefer online (or mobile) SNS activities rather than offline face-to-face social relationship. Furthermore, the drivers which affect SNS usages are considered from users' personal characteristics and social influences. User's personal characteristics include their personalities (extraversion and introversion), narcissism, and life satisfaction. Social influences involve subjective norm, visibility, and image. Affected by personal and social factors in SNS, users intend to show positive self-presentation, which refers to a behavior to selectively expose his/her goodness to others. As one of the most influential drivers affecting SNS usage, the positive self-representation has an effect on the level of SNS usage. Thus, this paper suggests the hypothesized research model focusing on positive self-representation in the relationship among personal characteristics, social influence, and user's behavior in SNS. Empirical data analysis with 100 questionnaires suggests that all hypotheses were adopted except for the effect of visibility among social influence factors on positive self-representation.

SNS 사용자 중독 형성 매커니즘과 중독 예방 전략 (Understanding the formation mechanism of SNS addiction and its prevention strategy)

  • Purpose The study examined the key factors influencing the formation mechanism of SNS addiction. Based on the use and gratification theory, we considered relationship maintenance, perceived enjoyment, and self-expression as main desires to induce SNS addiction. The characteristics of SNS users were also considered as major factors affecting SNS addiction. In particular, self-control and subjective well-beings were considered to be prevention factors that could reduce SNS addiction, while SNS relational intimacy was considered to be a facilitator that would increase SNS addiction. Design/Methodology/Approach A structural equation modeling (SEM) method was used to test the theoretical framework based on a sample of 224 Facebook users who have used it more than 6 months. Confirmation factor analysis was conducted to check the reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity. Findings Relationship maintenance had a significant effect on self-disclosure intention and SNS addiction, respectively. Perceived enjoyment was significantly related to self-disclosure intention, while it was insignificantly associated with SNS addiction. However, self-expression was not significantly related to both self-disclosure intention and SNS addiction. Consistent with our expectations, both self-control and subjective well-beings had negative effects on SNS addiction. The analysis results found that SNS relational intimacy was positively related to SNS addiction.

SNS에 대한 인지요인이 구전효과에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Perceived Factors on the Word-of-Mouth of SNS)

  • Given the prevalence of internet and web 2.0, SNS(Social Network Service) market is growing rapidly. IT providers which focused marketing point on network hub have become to disseminate SNS mainly now. Many users are using the various functions of SNS to communicate each other or share the information. At this point, identifying the influencing factors to WOM(Word-Of-Mouth) of SNS is very important. In this paper, we aim to examine the effects of perceived variables on the WOM of SNS. In order to analyze the antecedents, we selected perceived factors such as perceived usefulness, perceived easiness, perceived enjoyment and perceived crowd. For statistical analysis, we surveyed real users of SNS. As a result, all antecedents of WOM showed significant influence and among the variables the perceived enjoyment has top standardized coefficient. In addition, perceived crowd has significant on perceived easiness, perceived enjoyment but not on perceived usefulness. The result of this research can be useful guidelines to increase SNS Market.

기독교인의 사회관계망 서비스에 대한 만족과 신뢰 및 지속 이용의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Factors Influencing the Continuance Usage Intention of Social Network Service)

  • Spread of internet service had a huge effect on usage and spread of SNS world widely. Variety of the service has increased from human network managing to commerce, education, payment method and so on. Also, it is expanding its service territory to not only PC area but also that of mobile equipment with development of information technology. Spread of use on SNS provides existing corporations the expansion of service area. Late SNS starter companies are advancing in diverse way for attracting users by serving shopping, games and other services with association with SNS. Therefore, analysis on consumers' thought and pattern which analyze users' demand, service's function and contents and other factors in order to reflect on plans and operations of SNS is needed. On this perspective, this research is suggesting properties that are crucially related to sustained usage of SNS and study factors of SNS's characteristics that influence trust and satisfaction on SNS and continuous usage intent of SNS.

  • 최근 소셜 네트워킹 서비스(Social Networking Service, SNS)를 통해 소통하고자 하는 개인들이 급격히 증대하고 있다. 이러한 현상은 SNS 상에서 막대한 정보생성을 이끌었고, 이에 따라 SNS 이용자들은 관심 부족을 느끼고 이를 극복하기 위해 보다 자극적이고, 과장된 정보를 생성하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 현상을 이용과 충족이론의 관점에서 관심에 대한 욕구를 충족시키기 위한 SNS 이용자들의 이용행태를 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 SNS 이용행태 연구들을 살펴보면, 성별에 따른 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 관광객의 관심욕구가 SNS 몰입(순응, 동일시, 내재화)과 관광경험 공유 행위에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 하였으며, 성별에 따른 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 관심욕구는 SNS 몰입 수준에서 순응과 동일시를 매개로 관광경험 공유에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 순응과 동일시가 영향을 미치는데 있어 성별에 따른 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 학술적, 실무적 시사점을 제공한다.

소셜 네트워크 서비스 사용자의 디지털 아이템 구매와 실제 사용에 관한 연구: 종단적 관점에서 (Exploring Purchase Behavior of Digital Items and Actual Usage in a Social Network Site: A Longitudinal Perspective)

  • Given the rapid growth of social network services (SNS) such as Facebook and Cyworld, it is important to understand SNS users' decision-making processes such as purchasing and continuance intention. Especially, as a number of SNS providers such as Cyworld and Habbo Hotel recognize the sales of digital items as the main source of their profits, it is critical to in-depth understand SNS users' purchasing behaviors. In this regard, this study explores continued usage behaviors and purchase behaviors of digital items in an SNS environment using a longitudinal research method. This paper develops a theoretical model to deeply understand the key drivers of purchase behavior of digital items through constructs prescribed by two established research streams on information systems, namely continuance usage and habitual usage. Moreover, this study examines the effects of actual and ideal self-image congruity on SNS continuance intention and habit. The research model was tested by using survey data collected from 307 users who have experience with Cyworld. The analysis results show that SNS actual usage directly influence purchase behavior of digital items. SNS users' continuance intention and habit are key drivers to enhance the level of actual usage of the SNS. Both actual and ideal self-image congruity play a key role in enhancing continuance usage and habitual usage. The implication of research and discussions provides reference for SNS providers in marketing and IT strategy.

Social Network Service 수용 후 사용회피에 관한 연구: 페이스북 사용자를 중심으로 (A Study on the Avoidance Intention of Social Network Service in Post Adoption Context: Focusing on the Facebook User)

  • Why people reduce or stop using social network services(SNS), which are regarded as a mean of relationship and communication, unlike the early trend? To explain the phenomenon, this study tries to predict psychological decision making process of users from perspectives of cognitive dissonance theory. From this perspective, this study attempted an integrative approach that reflected 'User's literacy' indicating the ability of individuals to use SNS, and 'negative mass media influence' such as media reports on side effects or the bad experiences of acquaintances, along with the 3 factors used in the SNS Prior research. This study conducted an empirical analysis by surveying 256 facebook users, and the major findings are as follows:- First, Social-overload, complexity, uncertainty and negative media influence are significantly affect dissonance on the use of SNS. Second, Dissonance on the use of SNS significantly affects the behavior that possibly reduces and limits the use of SNS. In other words, the users who have experienced psychological dissonance respond passively by avoiding the use of SNS to resolve the dissonance. Third, the moderating effect of User's literacy wasn't a significant. This study presents a clue to understand psychological decision making process of use of SNS and a guideline for establishing practical strategies. In addition, it is important to note that this study contributes to expansion of theoretical discussion about usage.
