  • A class of multi-factor designs for estimating the slope of second order response surfaces is presented. For multi-factor designs the variance of the estimated slope at a point is a function of the direction of measurement of the slope and the design. If we average the variance over all possible directions, the averaged variance is only a function of the point and the design. By choice of design, it is possible to make this variance constant for all points equidistant from the design origin. This property is called "slope-rotatability over all directions", and the necessary and sufficient conditions for a design to have this property are given and proved. The class of design with this property is mainly discussed.

  • Good estimation of the slopes of the mixture response function may be important as well as estimation of mean mixture response. It is possible to evaluate and compare several mixture designs with respect to the slope. A graphical method is proposed that allows us to evaluate a given design's support for the fitted model in terms of slope variance. We can plot variances of slopes along Cox direction according to existence of restriction of simplex region when comparing several different mixture designs.

  • The purpose of this study if to prevent dangerous accident of the overthrow of the tower crane in summer's hurricane. We develop the SMS in order to give automatic alarm system to operator within the dangerous range and to give a information of the exactly slope in the real time. The slope value of the tower crane is compose of direction, pitch by the front and rear, roll by the right and left and synthesis by the its pitch and roll. Especially, the synthesis eliminate the effect of the wall tie or wire bracing. So, this value should correctly indicate the actual slope. In this study, more applying field test should be applied with the SMS. In the future, a more measurement device can be applied to, and be able to feed more alarm criteria for the review of the risk in the field.

  • In this paper a class of mixture designs for estimating the slope of second order Scheffe polynomial response surfaces for mixture experiments with q components is presented. The variance of the estimated directional slope at a point is a function of the direction of the slope and the design. If the variance is averaged over all possible directions in the (q-1)-dimensional simplex, the averaged variance is only a function of the point and the design. By choice of design, it is possible to make this variance constant for all points equidistant from the centroid point. This property is called "slope-rotatability over al directions in the simplex", and the necessary and sufficient conditions for mixture design to have this property are given and proved. The class of designs with this property is compared with other mixture designs and discussed.discussed.

Measured joint of Rock slope and comparison applied 3 dimension laser scanner and clinometer. 3D laser scanning system preserves on computer calculating to 3 dimension coordinate scaning laser to object. and according to laser measurement method of interior, produce correct vector value from charge-coupled device(CCD) or laser reciver and telegram register and time measuring equipment. Create of object x, y, z point coordinates to 3 dimension space of computer. Such 3 dimension point datum (Point Clouds) forms relocate position informations that exist to practical space to computer space. Practical numerical values related between each other. Compared joint distribution and direction that measured by laser scanner and clinometer. By the result, Distribution of joint projected almost equally. Could get more joint datas by measurement of 3 dimension scanner than measured by clinometer. Therefore, There is effect that objectification of rock slope investigation data, shortening of investigation periods, investigation reduction of cost. could know that it is very effective method in joint measuring.

  • In this country, farmers lay out furrows in the direction which is considered by their own judgement to be convenient for cultivation without paying much attention for soil erosion. The direction of furrow has considerable effects on soil and water losses. In this experiment, it is intedned to observe the differences of soil and water losses in different directions of furrows of sloped fields so that the results thus obtained could be informed to farmers who should be careful in determining furrow direction for soil erosion control. Some the major experimental results are summarized as follows: The direction of furrows did not affect so much on the runoffs in a gentle slope, as the runoff is 509 ton/10a in the contouring plot, $51^{\circ}$/ton/10a in the 45-degree plot, and 560 ton/10a in the up-and-down hill plot. The contouring plot among the three plots had best effect on soil conservation, as the soil losses are 5.8 ton/10a in the contouring plot, 9.3 ton/10a in the 45 degree plot, and 10.2 ton/10a in the up-and-down hill plot.

  • This study evaluated slope stability through a case study to determine the disaster risks associated with increased deforestation in structures, including schools and apartments, located in urban areas adjacent to slopes. The slope behind the ○○ High School in Gwangju, Korea, collapsed owing to heavy rain in August 2018. Historically, rainwater drained well around the slope during the rainy season. However, during the collapse, a large amount of seepage water flowed out of the slope surface and a shallow failure occurred along the saturated soil layer. To analyze the cause of the collapse, the images of the upper area of the slope, which could not be directly identified, were captured using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). A digital elevation model of the slope was constructed through image analysis, making it possible to calculate the rainfall flow direction and the area, width, and length of logging areas. The change in the instability of the slope over time owing to rainfall lasting ten days before the collapse was analyzed through numerical analysis. Imaging techniques based on the UAV images were found to be effective in analyzing ground disaster risk maps in urban areas. Furthermore, the analysis was found to predict the failure before its actual occurrence.
