In this study, We developed a Ancillary device for child radiography for X-ray of children under 5 years old and verified its effectiveness. Chest X-rays of children younger than 5 years of age were performed by Supine method at the position of Table detector, Short - Source to Image Receptor Distance(SID). Existing Supine and Short -SID imaging methods cause many problems, such as errors in image reading and excessive radiation exposure dose to patients, but the use of an Ancillary device for child radiography(ADCR) solves these problems. A total of 160 children were divided into the Upright group using ADCR and Supine group without ADCR. The chest X-ray image was visually evaluated by two radiologists with reference to the European Commission's List of Quality Criteria for Diagnostic Radiographic Images in Pediatrics. The total score of the qualitative evaluation was 5.15% higher in the chest upright method using ADCR than in the chest supine method without ADCR, and the chest upright method score was higher than that of the chest supine method in items 1 to 7. whether infants have deep inspiration or not, 4.87% higher for item 1, whether infants rotate or not and the degree of tilting, 0% higher for the item 2, the reproduction of image from just above apices of lungs to T12/L1, 0% for the item 3, reproduction of the vascular pattern in central 2/3 of the lungs, 6.92% higher for the item 4, reproduction of the trachea and the proximal bronchi, 12.9% higher for the item 5, visually sharp reproduction of the diaphragm and costo-phrenic angles, 10% higher for the item 6, reproduction of the spine and paraspinal structures and visualisation of the retrocardiac lung and the mediastinum, and 3.65% higher for the item 7. Items 2 and 3 showed no statistically significant differences(P > 0.05), and items 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7 showed statistically significant differences(P < 0.05). In conclusion, Upright method using ADCR in pediatric chest X-ray is considered as a good alternative to existing Supine method.

Purpose: A high anion gap (AG) is known to be a significant risk factor for serious acid-base imbalances and death in acute poisoning cases. The strong ion difference (SID), or strong ion gap (SIG), has recently been used to predict in-hospital mortality or acute kidney injury (AKI) in patients with systemic inflammatory response syndrome. This study presents a comprehensive acid-base analysis in order to identify the predictive value of the SIG for disease severity in severe poisoning. Methods: A cross-sectional observational study was conducted on acute poisoning patients treated in the emergency intensive care unit (ICU) between December 2015 and November 2020. Initial serum electrolytes, base deficit (BD), AG, SIG, and laboratory parameters were concurrently measured upon hospital arrival and were subsequently used along with Stewart's approach to acid-base analysis to predict AKI development and in-hospital death. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) and logistic regression analysis were used as statistical tests. Results: Overall, 343 patients who were treated in the intensive care unit were enrolled. The initial levels of lactate, AG, and BD were significantly higher in the AKI group (n=62). Both effective SID [SIDe] (20.3 vs. 26.4 mEq/L, p<0.001) and SIG (20.2 vs. 16.5 mEq/L, p<0.001) were significantly higher in the AKI group; however, the AUC of serum SIDe was 0.842 (95% confidence interval [CI]=0.799-0.879). Serum SIDe had a higher predictive capacity for AKI than initial creatinine (AUC=0.796, 95% CI=0.749-0.837), BD (AUC=0.761, 95% CI=0.712-0.805), and AG (AUC=0.660, 95% CI=0.607-0.711). Multivariate logistic regression analyses revealed that diabetes, lactic acidosis, high SIG, and low SIDe were significant risk factors for in-hospital mortality. Conclusion: Initial SIDe and SIG were identified as useful predictors of AKI and in-hospital mortality in intoxicated patients who were critically ill. Further research is necessary to evaluate the physiological nature of the toxicant or unmeasured anions in such patients.

In this article, a novel simple higher-order shear deformation theory for bending and free vibration analysis of functionally graded (FG) beams is proposed. The beauty of this theory relies on its 2-unknowns displacement field as the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory, which is even less than the Timoshenko beam theory. A shear correction factor is, therefore, not needed. Equations of motion are obtained via Hamilton's principle. Analytical solutions for the bending and free vibration analysis are given for simply supported beams. Efficacy of the proposed model is shown through illustrative examples for bending and dynamic of FG beams. The numerical results obtained are compared with those of other higher-order shear deformation beam theory results. The results obtained are found to be accurate.
This study investigated the disinfection effect of monopersulfate (MPS) compound against white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) by bioassay using kuruma shrimp (Marsupenaeus japonicas). A WSSV stock was prepared with muscle homogenate from WSSV-infected whiteleg shrimp (Penaeus vannamei) and its lethal dose 50% endpoint (LD50) and infectious dose 50% endpoint (SID50) were respectively determined as 10-5.63 and 10-6.79 in bioassay using kuruma shrimp, followed by PCR assays. The disinfective effect of MPS compound (1.2 ppm, 2.4 ppm, 4.8 ppm) was performed by bioassay using about 10-fold higher dilution (10-4) of WSSV homogenate. The compound resulted in WSSV inactivation by a concentration-dependent manner. In addition, 4.8 ppm of MPS completely prohibited WSSV infection. To our knowledge, this study is the first report about the usefulness of MPS as a disinfectant to WSSV.
This article presents an analytical approach to explore the bending behaviour of of two-dimensional (2D) functionally graded (FG) nanobeams based on a two-variable higher-order shear deformation theory and nonlocal strain gradient theory. The kinematic relations are proposed according to novel trigonometric functions. The material gradation and material properties are varied along the longitudinal and the transversal directions. The equilibrium equations are obtained by using the virtual work principle and solved by applying Navier's technique. A comparative evaluation of results against predictions from literature demonstrates the accuracy of the proposed analytical model. Moreover, a detailed parametric analysis checks for the sensitivity of the bending and stresses response of (2D) FG nanobeams to nonlocal length scale, strain gradient microstructure scale, material distribution and geometry.
Two experiments were conducted to determine energy and nutrient digestibility in four sources of distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) produced from corn and fed to growing pigs. The objective was to test the hypothesis that energy and nutrient digestibility in DDGS does not vary if samples are procured from ethanol plants that use similar production technologies and use corn that is grown within a narrow geographical area. The four sources of DDGS that were used were procured from ethanol plants that were less than 10 yr old and located within 250 km of each other. In Exp. 1, five growing barrows (initial BW = 71.4 kg) that were fitted with a T-canula in the distal ileum were allotted to a 5${\times}$5 Latin square design and used to measure apparent (AID) and standardized (SID) ileal digestibility of AA in the four sources of DDGS. Results of this experiment showed that the SID of CP and all AA except Cys and Pro were greater (p<0.05) in two of the DDGS sources than in the other two sources. Exp. 2 was conducted to measure the concentration of DE and ME and the apparent total tract digestibility (ATTD) of energy, N, P, ether extract, NDF, and ADF in corn and in the same four sources of DDGS as used in Exp. 1. Five pigs (initial BW = 29.7 kg) that were placed in metabolism cages and allotted to a 5${\times}$5 Latin square design were used. Results of Exp. 2 showed that the average DE and ME in DDGS were 4,072 and 3,750 kcal/kg DM, respectively, which was less (p<0.01) than the DE and ME in corn (4,181 and 4,103 kcal/kg DM, respectively). The average ATTD for P in DDGS was 56.1%, which was greater (p<0.01) than the ATTD for P in corn (31.9%). The ATTD for ADF in DDGS was also greater (p<0.05) than in corn, but the ATTD for ether extract and NDF were greater (p<0.05) in corn than in DDGS. It is concluded that energy and nutrient digestibility vary among sources of DDGS even when the DDGS is procured from ethanol plants that use corn grown within a narrow geographical region. Thus, factors other than corn growing region are responsible for the variability of energy and nutrient digestibility in DDGS.

ROC(Receiver Operating Characteristic)curve is the method that estimate detected insignificant signal from the human's sense of sight, it has been raised excellent results. In this study, we evaluate image quality and equipment character by obtaining a chest image from CR(Computed Radiography) and DDR(Direct Digital radiography) using the human chest phantom, The parameter of exposure for obtaining chest image was 120 kVp/3.2 mAs and the SID(Source to Image Distance) was 180cm. The images were obtained by CR(AGFA MD 4.0 General plate, JAPAN) and DDR(HOLOGIC nDirect Ray, USA). Using some pieces of Aluminum and stone for expressing regions, then attached them on the heart, lung and thoracic vertebrae of the phantom. 29 persons hold radiology degrees were participated in ROC analysis. As a result of the ROC analysis, TPF(true positive fraction) and FPF(false positive fraction) of DDR and CR are 0.552 and 0.474 and 0.629 and 0.405, respectively. By using the results, the ROC curve of CR has higher image quality than DDR. According to the theory, DDR has the higher image quality than CR in chest X-ray image. But, CR has the higher image quality than DDR. quality of DDR inserted the enhance board. The results confirmed that image post-processing is important element decipherment of clinical.
This study aims to find out geometric parameters which practitioner adjustable to reduce dose in coronary angiography. We take fluoroscopy and cine exposure by use of phantom, and got dose use the dose-area product(DAP) meter of angiography device, than convert DAP to effective dose. As results, Cine exposure shows higher dose measurement about 6-7 times than fluoroscopy. Dose in frame per second(FPS) mode could be decrease down to 70%, as lower FPS. In view of X-ray tube angle, LAO $45^{\circ}$+Caudal $30^{\circ}$ shows highest dose measurement. More use of Collimator, lower dose measurement. Source-image intensifier distance(SID) get longer to 10cm, dose of each fluoroscopy and cine exposure increase up to 25-30%. Image magnification of field of view(FOV) could increase dose up to 1.21-2 times. Also table-image intensifier distance get longer to 10cm, dose increased 1.11-1.25 times. Practitioner can adjust several geometric parameters, as FPS mode, tube angle, Collimation, SID, table-image intensifier distance, FOV. And each factors can reduce radiation dose in coronary angiography.

In this paper, we propose a method for establishing a state-space equation model for the motion analysis of floating structures subjected to wave loads, by applying system-identification techniques. Traditionally, the motion of floating structures has been analyzed in the time domain by integrating the Cummins equation over time, which utilizes a convolution integral term to account for the effects of the retardation function. State-space equation models have been studied as a way to efficiently solve floating-motion equations in the time domain. The proposed approach outlines a procedure to derive the target transfer function for the load-displacement input/output relationship in the frequency domain and subsequently determine the state-space equation that closely approximates it. To obtain the state-space equation, the method employs the N4SID system-identification method and an optimization approach that treats the coefficients of the numerator and denominator polynomials as design variables. To illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, we applied it to the analysis of a single-degree-of-freedom model and the motion of a six-degree-of-freedom barge. Our findings demonstrate that the presented state-space equation model aligns well with the existing analysis results in both the frequency and time domains. Notably, the method ensures computational accuracy in the time-domain analysis while significantly reducing the calculation time.

An Amberlite XAD-4 resin impregnated with di(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid was prepared and its adsorption-desorption behaviors with Sr(II) ions under various conditions was examined. The resin was characterized by fourier transform infrared and thermal analysis techniques. The effects contact time, temperature, pH, interfering ions and eluants were studied. Results showed that adsorption of Sr (II) well fitted with pseudo-second-order kinetic model. The equilibrium adsorption data of Sr (II) on the impregnated resin were analyzed by Jossens, Weber-van Vliet, Redlich-Peterson and Fritz-Schlunder models to find out desirable equilibrium condition. Among them, the Fritz-Schlunder model best fitted to the experimental data. The maximum sorption capacity of impregnated resin amounted to 0.45 mg/ g at pH 8.0 and $20^{\circ}C$.
