일반적인 도로사업의 수요예측 과정에서 해당도로구간을 어떤 기종점간을 통행하는 차량들이 얼마만큼 이용하는지 알기 위해서 Select Link Analysis가 주로 이용된다. 하지만 이런 결과에 대한 분석방법으로는 현재 Select Link Analysis만이 거의 유일하게 이용되고 있고, 이 외의 분석방법에 대한 연구는 전무한 실정이다. 따라서 전문가들은 각 기종점에서 해당 도로를 이용하여 통행하는 통행량을 알아보는 객관적 자료로서 이 분석방법에 거의 전적으로 의존하고 있다. 본 연구는 Select Link Analysis와는 다른 접근방법을 통해 신설 도로에 대한 각 기종점별 이용 정도를 예측할 수 있는 모형의 개발을 목적으로 하며, 그 접근방법으로는 Network의 시공간적 특성을 이용하였다. 또한 개발된 모형의 유의성 검증을 위해 모형에 의한 결과에 대한 비교지표로서 Select Link Analysis 결과를 이용하였다. 개발된 모형은 지역간 통행과 도시 내부 통행 두 가지의 경우에 대한 사례분석을 통해 그 유의성을 검증하였고, 그 결과 비교지표와의 상관계수가 0.82 정도로 비교적 높게 나타나 본 연구에서 제시한 개념이 유의성을 가짐을 알 수 있었다.

This study reviews the engineering properties of vegetation as one of all factors to select vegetation species for slope protection. The vegetation species mainly applied in domestic soil slope protection were inspected, and the root properties such as root pattern, root length, root weight, were analyzed. And then direct shear tests on undisturbed fine sand including roots were performed to review the effect of root reinforcement. From these analyses, it was concluded that the engineering properties of vegetation should be considered to select vegetation species for slope protection.

The aim of this study is to indicate that how to select the releasing fishes for the nourishment of fisheries resources in small ranching area around the Gunsan coastal seas. The collected data were analysed, and revealed that the proper fisheries for releasing around the seas are Limanda Yokohame, sebastes schlegeli, paralichthys olibaceus, black porgy and little clam.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to examine senior citizens' perception of medical welfare service in Daejeon, and to investigate the level of Korean Medicine University students' satisfaction about medical services that they have done. Methods : We visited Daejeon city hall and Dae jeon Seo-gu community health center, and interviewed them. After that we select two population and did two different surveys. First, to investigate the current state of medical services and medical welfare in Daejeon, we select neglected class senior citizens who were serviced at social welfare center. Second, we select Daejeon Korean Medicine University student to investigate the level of satisfaction about medical services and pre-education. In first population, we random select 25 of 34 senior citizen who visits mere social welfare center. In second population, we random select 78 of 115 Korean Medicine University student who belongs to medical welfare club. Results : We found some advantages and problems in medical services. A lot of senior citizen who were serviced at social welfare center showed high level of satisfaction about medical service. But there were few citizens who knows about health & medical welfare. And most Korean Medicine University student who services medical service to neglected class senior citizens showed high level of satisfaction. Conclusion : We concluded that medical welfare for senior citizen needs more publicizing. Because result of our survey, many senior citizens showed not only low level of recognition in medical welfare service, also showed low utilization rate in public health center. And most Korean Medicine University students were satisfied with themselves about medical service that they have done, it seemed medical service gives beneficial influence to not only senior citizen but also Korean Medicine University student.

Market demand for hydro-mechanical transmission (HMT) for agricultural tractors has increased recently. To select a type of HMT satisfying design conditions, performance characteristics of 12 HMT types must be understood. This study was conducted to provide tractor engineers with a guideline to select the most appropriate HMT type for their design requirements. Characteristics on speed reduction ratio, power transmission efficiency, power regeneration, lock-up angular velocity, output torque ratio and torque ratio of planetary gear train axis of the 12 HMT types were investigated and presented as either formula or graphical forms. A guideline to select proper HMT type was also presented using 2 parameter: lock-up angular velocity (${\omega}_L$) and torque ratio of the planetary gear train axis. In addition, effect of gear ratio of the planetary gear train on the power transmission efficiency was investigated and a guideline to select the best gear ratio was also presented.

With over 15,000 Thai restaurants worldwide and 5,342 in the USA alone, Thai cuisine has been repeatedly internationally acclaimed for its taste, flavors, smell, and nutritional values. The Thai Ministry of Commerce has also established a global objective to find and award the best Thai food restaurants using Thai Select Premium (TSP), Thai Select Unique (TSU), and Thai Select brand labels. Therefore, using systematic random sampling, 620 diners were selected from certified Thai Select restaurants (TSR) in either Los Angeles, New York, Miami, or Chicago to ask for their opinions concerning factors important to each restaurant's service loyalty (SL). The four constructs, 18 observed variables, and six hypotheses were analyzed using LISREL 9.1. Results revealed a significant positive effect (88% R²) on the causal factor interrelationships on TSRs' SL. Additionally, the three factors affecting SL the most were service tangibility, taste perceptions, and brand image, with total effect values of 0.94, 0.43, and 0.31, respectively. Finally, when each US diner was asked why they chose to eat Thai food, respondents overwhelmingly indicated that taste (49.50%) and healthiness (32.90%) were most important. The study also adds to the literature by highlighting the importance of Thai cuisine contributing to healthier lifestyles.

The objective of this research is to select the most effective technique from task related techniques(motion & time study, job redesign, physical environment improvement) for improving work efficiency in shipbuilding enterprise. This study consists of several principal steps. The first step is to design critical criteria in evaluating work efficiency in shipbuilding enterprises. The second step is to develop sub-criteria of the critical criteria. The third step is to develop a four level AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)structure using the critical criteria, sub-criteria and techniques from task related techniques. The fourth step is to develop the pairwise comparison matrix by each level of AHP structure, which was based on survey data collected at the H heavy industry. And the last step is to select the most effective technique from task related techniques using AHP analysis. The result of AHP analysis has shown clear difference in priority among task related techniques in terms of work efficiency of the shipbuilding enterprise: The reduction of normal time has more importance than the reduction of allowance time, motion & time study techniques are most important for the reduction of normal time, physical environment improvement is most important for the reduction of allowance time as well.

Generally, the size of our recreation sites is selected through use demand at the peak day. At same time, scale economic and diseconomic are applied to a recreation site. If you are a rational decision-maker, you would like to select the size of your park at profit-maximization point. This study is the first try for modelling a Gain-Loss by the size options of a theme park. For testing the validity of a financial model to select the size of theme parks. Ever-Land, Seoul-Land, Dream-Land's operating size was analyzed. By the size options, the revenue of each park was compared with cost. The profit-maximization point and break-even point of each park were found. Ever-Land and Dream-Land's size was selected between the profit-maximization point and the break-even point. In contrast with Ever-Land and Dream-Land's, Seoul-Land's was selected upper the break-even point. To increase the utility of this model in selecting the size of a theme park, a decision-maker must keep in mind a few limits of this study. That is, 1) this model can not be applied at public parks. 2) Sometimes the others can be more important than financial revenue and cost. Finally, there is the validity of Gain-Loss Model in estimating only the financial revenues and costs through the size options.

This paper presents a method to select optimal device for mitigating voltage sags. The method is based on economic evaluation and voltage sag assessment involving sag duration as well as magnitude. The economic evaluation is performed by using the operation cost and economic benefit of the mitigation devices. The optimal device can be determined from the values of NPV (net present value) which is widely accepted in cost-benefit analysis. The proposed method can help sensitive customers to select optimal mitigation device. In this paper, the case study considering two sensitive customers was performed by using the proposed method.
