뜨임한 구조용강 SCM435의 경도 및 충격 흡수에너지에 대한 신뢰성 평가 (Reliability Evaluation of Hardness and Impact Absorption Energy of Tempered Structure Steel SCM435)

  • SM45C steel, which is widely used for mechanical structure, was carburized at 870℃ for 4 hours and tempered at 300℃ and 400℃ for 1, 3 and 6 hours. The tempered materials were evaluated for tensile test, hardness test and impact test. In particular, the hardness and the absorption energy were evaluate the reliability by the Weibull statistical analysis. 300℃-1h specimen is considered to be the best heat treatment condition in the tensile stress and the observation of fracture surface. 300℃-1h specimen showed larger shape and scale parameter than the other specimens, and Rockwell hardness variance was small and showed the best characteristics. 400℃-3h specimen showed larger shape and scale parameter than the other specimens, the dispersion of impact absorption energy is small, and showed excellent characteristics.

  • Dual mass flywheel is the newly developed flywheel system which reduces the noise and vibration and make a better and comfortable ride of cars by adding inertia mass and damping device. However, verification of performance for this system should be carried out since this system is under developing status in our country. Especially, the durability for each part of this system should be guaranteed. Durable properties of driver plate which is the key component of dual mass flywheel were first investigated both in the raw (SCM435 in JIS) and heat-treated material. In addition, fatigue life analysis of driver plate was preformed in the real condition and the results were verified by comparison with the results of rig test.

  • Using the fatigue limit (∆σunsm) and residual stress (σr) of the UNSM smooth specimen, the harmless maximum crack depth (ahlm) according to the crack aspect ratio (As) was evaluated. In addition, the relationship between the minimum crack depth (aNDI1, aNDI2) detectable by non-destructive inspection(NDI), the crack depth (a25, a50) that reduces the fatigue limit by 25% and 50%, and ahlm were evaluated. The harmless crack condition was determined by the deepest crack point (point A). Since ahlm is larger than a25 and a50, a25 and a50 can secure the safety and reliability of steel via UNSM. Because aNDI1 and aNDI2 are larger than a25 and a50, cracks in a25 and a50 cannot be detected by non-destructive testing. Therefore it is necessary to apply more precise NDI.

  • This study was performed to optimize friction welding conditions of Cr-Mo steel bars used for hydraulic of pneumatic valve spools and to realize the real-time evaluation of weld quality by acoustic emission method. SNCM220, SCM435, SCAM645, and SCM415 steel bars were tested to find optimum conditions of friction welding. Auantitative equations which exhibit the relations of tensile strength, elongation, reduction of area and energy absorption with friction heating time were obtained by the experiment. Acoustic emission was also performed in the friction weldig process, and the real-time evaluation was enabled to find the optimum range of weld strength. Finally, the strength and toughness of welded joints were interpreted by the sem analysis of tensile fracture surfaces.

  • In-process quality control and high reliability of the weld are the major concerns in applying friction welding to the economical and qualified mass-production. Experimental examinations and quantitative analysis were performed for the optimiaztion of similar friction welding of hydraulic valve spool steels(SNCM220, SCM435, SACM645, SCM415, ${\varphi}24). The quantitative correlations were found between the initial cumulative counts of acoustic emission(AE) occurring during plastic deformation periods of the welding and the fatigue life as well as weld strength and welding conditions. A real-time evaluation system was developed for the friction weld quality by AE.

  • VMI의 최종목표는 공급자가 수입을 유지하는 동안 최종사용자에게 있어서는 비용을 줄이고 서비스를 향상시켜주는 것이다. VMI는 소매상인과 공급자가 각 비즈니스의 계획, 예측, 보급과정에서 협력하는 것을 허용하며, 각 당사자에게 다른 비즈니스 데이터의 투명한 관점을 제공한다. 또한 VMI는 더욱 정확한 기획, 증가된 판매, 감소된 재고품과 빠른 주식의 회전결과를 처리한다. 본 연구에서는 현재 기업에서 많이 도입되고 있는 SCM 영역에서 주요한 이슈로 부각되고 있는 VMI 관련 기술 및 구축현황을 조사하였으며, 아울러 인터넷쇼핑몰 환경에 맞는 VMI 아키텍쳐의 개발에 대한 연구를 제시한다.

  • Continuously contacting with camshaft the face of Valve Lifter made of cast iron brings about abnormal wear such as unfairwear or earlywear because it is heavily loaded in the valve train systems as the engine gets more powered. This abnormal wear becomes a defet namely over-clearance when the valve is lifting so that the fuel gas imperfectly combusted by unsuitable open or close aaction of the engine valve in the combustion chamber. The imperfect combustion in the end results in the major cause of air pollution and combustion chamber. Consequently to prevent this wear this study was to develop the valve lifter which is joined by brazing process with SCM435H and a tip by manufacturing the face as a superhardened which is joined by brazing process with SCM435H and a tip by manufacturing the face as a superhardened ceramics alloy which has high wear resistance. Having the excellent surface hardness with Hv1100-1200 the sintered body developed with superhardened alloy(WC) can endure the severe face loading in the valve train system. We experienced with various brazing alloys and obtained the excellent joining strength to the joint had 150MPa shear strength. Interface analysis and microstructure in a joint were examined through SEM & EDS Optical microscope. Also 2,500 hours high speed(3,000-4,000 rpm) and continuous (1step 12hr) engine dynamo testing was carried out to casting valve liter and ceramics-metal joint valve lifter so that the abnormal wears were compared and evaluated.

고인장 합금재를 활용한 철근콘크리트 기둥의 내진보강공법 개발에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Development of a Seismic Reinforcement Method for Reinforced Concrete Columns using High-tensile Alloy Materials)

  • 연구목적: 본 연구에서는고인장 합금재를 활용하여 기존 철근콘크리트 기둥의 내진성능 향상이 가능한 새로운 형식의 볼트 체결식 내진보강재를 개발하고자 한다. 연구방법: 고인장 합금재인 SUS304 및 일반 구조용 강재인 SS275를 이용하여 T형 단면 강판을 제작하고 이를 SCM435의 고장력 볼트로 체결한 내진보강재 실험체를 제작하여 휨 실험을 통해 재료적 특성이 내진 보강성능에 미치는 영향에 대해 비교 분석한다. 연구결과: SUS304를 사용한 실험체가 7% 높은 최대 강도와 22% 높은 항복 강도를 보이며, 360MPa 더 높은 압축응력을 나타낸다. 또한 중립축의 변화도 더 미소하여 더 우수한 내력을 가진 것으로 판단된다. 결론: 동일한 단면에서 SUS304를 사용한 내진보강재가 휨 강도, 항복강도, 인장강도, 중립축 변화, 연성능력 측면에서 더 우수한 것으로 판단되며 추후 연구에서 철근콘크리트 기둥 실물 실험체에 적용함으로써 기둥-보강재간 일체 거동에 대한 실험이 필요하다고 사료된다.

성형 공정을 수정한 SCM435H 볼트의 초기 2단계까지의 공정 해석 (Process Analysis for the First Two Steps of the SCM453H Bolt with a Modified Molding Process)

  • 본 연구에서는 볼트의 원활한 성형이 이루어지도록 볼트의 성형 공정 중 2단계에서 시행하던 압출공정을 4단계로 옮기고 2단계와 3단계에서는 볼트 머리부 성형만 이루어지도록 공정을 조정하여 해석하였다. 그 결과 약간의 수정으로 원활한 성형이 이루어 졌으며 접촉압력은 수정 전보다 1단계에서는 감소하고 2단계에서는 증가하였으며, 최대유효응력, 유효변형율, 성형력은 수정전보다 1, 2단계에서 모두 증가함을 알 수 있었다.

  • In this study, we aims to develop the machining technology for the ultra precision surface and profile accuracy. For this purpose, we construct the electrolytic in process grinding system (ELID grinding) and apply to the cylindrical and internal grinding. Through the various machining experiments such as SCM steel., ceramics, tungsten carbide etc., we have obtained nanometer surface roughness. And we have applied this mirror grinding technique to hydraulic manual valve and mold core of mini disk optical pick-up base. For the development of fine mechanical part machining technology, e have made multi fiber optical connector using fine grinding technology. And constructed micro drilling system with process monitoring system which is possible to drill 50${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ diameter hole.
