Ten selected soybean genotypes, consisting of nine from a pedigree breeding programme and one recommended variety, were evaluated in nine different locations and over two years for stability of yield performance. Variance component analysis revealed that soybean regional yield trials should be performed at more locations rather than in more years. Five stability parameters, which were coefficient of variability, regression coefficient, deviation parameter, variance component for genotype$\times$environment interaction, and ecovalence, were employed in the evaluation. Significant genotype$\times$environment interaction was present with respect to soybean yield. The highest average yield over nine locations and two years was shown in Suwon 145, which was considered to be stable in all stability statistics. In rank correlation among stability parameters, there were highly significant correlations among stability parameters derived from three Eberhart and Russell's, Plaisted's, and Wricke's methods. Due to the different ranking of genotypes by different stability parameters, a comprehensive method should be employed to identify the promising genotype as well as to characterize the relationship between genotype and environment.

근래 음향학(acoustics)이 기계공학과의 일전정과목으로 등장하여 일시 미국에서 과학공학종의 취직난이 있었을 때에도 음향학전공생들은 직장을 얻게되었다. 연이나 음향학과 유체역학의 상 호관념은 그 기초적연구에서나 응용에서는 특수한 항공공학계에서 관심을 둔 분유소음(jet noise) (Blumenthal, Russell과 Streckenabach(1975)과 Banerian(1978) 참조) Sonic boom(Carlson과 Maglieri(1972) 참조) 또 미해군에서 주목한 흐름의 소음 (flow noise) 같은 부분이외에는 별로 큰 진전을 보지못하고 있다. 그러므로 음향하종에게나 유체역학전문가에게는 많은 과제가 남 겨있다. 음향은 유역에 변화를 일으키고 흐름의 특성을 변시키므로 이 문제에 대하여 유체역학 견지로써 알아보고져 한다.

대부분의 사람들은 수를 이해하면서도 인류가 수 개념을 형성하는데 얼마나 어려웠으며, 얼마나 많은 역사적 경로를 통하여 이루어진 것인가는 모르고 있다. 버틀랜드 럿셀(B. Russell, 1872-1970)이 "한 쌍의 정과 이틀이라는 날짜가 모두 2라는 수의 구체적인 보기임을 인류가 깨닫게 되기까지에는 아찔하리 만큼 길고 긴 세월이 흘러야 했다." 라고 말할 만한 이유가 있는 것이다 동물들은 사물의 개수조차도 셀 수 없다고 한다. 다른 동물에 비해 아주 영리한 까마귀만이 10정도의 숫자를 셀 수 있다고 한다. 이렇듯 수를 센다는 것 자체가 지능을 나타내는 지표가 된다. IQ에 수 개념을 측정하는 항목이 있는 것은 당연하다 하겠으며, 초등학생들이 수 개념의 이해에 많은 애로점이 있을 것이라 예상할 수 있다.(중략) 수 있다.(중략)

Performance of photochemical models and their response to emission controls are heavily dependent on the inputs to the model. Two key inputs to these models are accurate meteorological and emissions data. But they can contain significant errors which contribute to uncertainties in photochemical simulation (Kumar and Russell, 1996; Sistla et al., 1996; Pielke and Uliase, 1998; Barna and Lamb, 2000; Nelson L. 본 연구에서는 카포에라를 움직임의 기반으로 하는 무용단을 선정하여 그들의 최근 작품을 중심으로 작품 경향을 문헌연구 하였다. 연구 대상이 된 무용단은 러셀 말리펀트(Russell Maliphant), 콰살 댄스 컴퍼니(Quasar Cia. de Dança), 구루포 코르포(Grupo corpo), 댄스 브라질(DanceBrazil)으로 제한하였다. 연구결과 카포에라(Capoeira)는 역동성과 리듬이 극대화된 소용돌이 치는 듯한 새로운 무용의 움직임 언어를 만들어 냈다. 신체움직임을 이용하여 공간, 이미지, 음악과 융화되는 작품 경향을 나타냈다. 사랑, 종교, 역사, 신화를 무대 위에서 움직임으로 풀어낼 수 있는 새로운 움직임 양식을 개발하여 흑인문화가 순수무용분야에 완벽하게 흡수되는 결과를 낫게 되었다.

The objective of this paper is to develop a fuzzy logic based decision-making system to detect low current faults using multiple detection algorithms. This fuzzy system utilizes a fuzzy expert model which executes an operation without complicated mathematical models. This fuzzy system decides the performance weights of the detection algorithms. The weights and the turnouts of the detection algorithms discriminate faults from normal events. This system can also be a generic group decision-making tool for other areas of power system protection.
