본 연구는 정서 자극 유형 중 일상생활과 가장 유사한 정서 경험을 유발하는 자연주의적 자극인 영상 자극을 활용하여 정서표상의 유사성과 개인 간 반응 일관성을 살펴보기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 다차원척도법을 실시하여 영상 자극이 핵심정서 차원에 위치하는지 확인하고, 참가자 간 분류분석을 사용하여 영상들이 정서유형 별로 구분이 잘 이루어지는지, 영상 자극에 대한 참가자들의 정서표상이 일관적인지 검증하였다. 또한 참가자간 상관분석을 통해 각 영상 자극에 대한 정서표상이 참가자들간 유사한지 추가적으로 확인하였다. 다차원척도법 결과, 정서유발 영상들이 정서가 차원에서 유의하게 구분되어 Russell(1980)의 핵심정서차원을 부분적으로 지지하였다. 분류분석 결과, 각 영상이 정서유형에 따라 잘 분류되고 예측되었다. 마지막으로, 참가자간 상관분석을 통해 정서 반응 일관성이 각 영상의 정서유형에 따라 다르게 나타남을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 영상 자극에 대한 정서표상과 정서 반응 일관성이 정서 유형에 따라 차이가 있음을 시사한다.

UBVI CCD photometry of open cluster NGC 2324 is presented. C-M diagrams of this cluster show well-defined main sequence with a red giant clump centered at B - V =1.05, V =13.45. We derived the major cluster characteristics; E(B - V)=0.17$\pm$0.12 from color-color diagram and mean color of red giant clump stars, (m - M)o=13.1$\pm$0.1 from zero age main sequence fitting, and [Fe/H]$\~$-0.32 from comparison the theoretical model developed by Bertelli et al. (1994) to the observed C-M diagrams. We estimate the age of NGC 2324 to be log t$\~$8.8 by applying isochrone fitting and morphological age index method.

We present a study of the old open cluster Trumpler 5 (Tr 5), based on the CDS archival data. From the color-magnitude diagrams of Tr 5, we have found the positions of main-sequence turn-off (MSTO) and red giant clump (RGC) stars. Using the mean magnitude of the RGC stars, we have estimated the reddening toward Tr 5, E(B - V) = 0.60 $\pm$ 0.10. Using the stars common in two data sets and the theoretical isochrones of Padova group, we have estimated the distance modulus $V_o - M_v = 12.64 {\pm} 0.20 (d = 3.4 {\pm} 0.3 kpc)$, the metallicity [Fe/H) = -0.30 $\pm$ 0.10, and the age of 2.4 $\pm$ 0.2 Gyr (log t = 9.38). These metallicity and distance values are consistent with the relation between the metallicity and the Galactocentric distance of other old open clusters, for which we obtain the slope of ${\Delta}[Fe/H]/ R_{gc} = -0.064 {\pm} 0.010\;dex\;kpc^{-1}$.

Recent spectroscopic observations have provided evidence for complex chemical evolution by supernovae and/or asymptotic giant branch (AGB) stars in the two metal-poor globular clusters (GCs) NGC2419 and M15. In particular, the horizontal branches (HBs) of these metal-poor GCs are very extended in the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram. The origin of these peculiar features, as well as that for the Sandage period-shift effect observed in these clusters, are yet to be understood. Here we show, by constructing population models including the Nitrogen enhanced subpopulation, that the second generation populations in these clusters would be enhanced not only in Helium, but also in Nitrogen. This working hypothesis can simultaneously explain the observed extended feature on the HB and the period-shift of RR Lyrae variables.

Photoelectric UBV light curves of AR lacertae made in one season during 1981-82 are presented. Although the shape of the light curves in the outside eclipses shows a strong distortion, the scatter of observations as well as phase coverage are better than those previously available. Fourier coefficients are derived from the V-light curve and the observed curve successfully rectified to the Russell model. Light curve solutions are computed and the geometrical and physical parameters of AR Lac are derived as $a_s$=0.182, $a_g$=0.341, j=$86^{circ}$3, $L_s$=0.372, $L_g$=0.628, k=0.53, $X_s$=0.85, $X_g$=0.4.

본 연구에서는 Mehrabian과 Russell (1974)의 S-O-R모델을 바탕으로 연구범위를 확장하여 점포이미지와 쇼핑가치를 포함한 연구모형을 설계하였다. 연구모형을 토대로 대형유통시설의 점포 관련 다양한 이미지를 선행자극요인으로 선정하고, 소비자들이 쇼핑하면서 경험하는 감정요인을 반응요인으로 설정하여 이들 변수들이 소비자의 행동의도에 미치는 영향을 파악하는데 주된 목적이 있다. 또한 이들 자극-반응 변수간의 관계에 쇼핑가치를 도입하여 조절효과를 검증하고자 한다. 본 연구는 연구범위를 확장하여 국가 간 비교 및 선행연구들이 간과하고 있는 부분에 대한 이론적, 실증적 접근을 시도하고 있다는데서 그 의미를 찾을 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 이론적인 측면은 물론 실무적인 측면에서도 본격적인 해외시장개척을 하는 한국유통기업의 해외마케팅전략 수립에 활용할 수 있는 유익한 시사점을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이다.

Block copolymers with well-defined nanoscopic structures have recently gained much attention for their potential uses as functional nanostructures. Here, we show that nanoporous templates made from polystyrene-block-poly (methyl methacrylate) (PS-b-PMMA) satisfy a novel design concept. At first, arrays of nanoscopic cylindrical microdomains oriented normal to the surface can easily be prepared. Then, we fabricated ultra high density arrays of conducting polymer as poly(pyrrole) (Ppy) and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) nanowires with diameters of $25{\sim}40\;nm$ on the ITO glass by electropolymerization of the monomers inside nanoholes. These high density arrays of conducting polymer nanowires could be used as P-type materials for photovoltaic devices.

The design and synthesis of novel biomolecular materials, based on mimicking the properties of molecules found in nature, is providing materials with unusual properties. Resilin serves as an energy storage material in insects and facilitates flight, jumping (in fleas, froghoppers etc) and sound production (cicadas, etc). Resilin is initially produced as a soluble protein and in its mature form is crosslinked through formation of dityrosine units into a very large insoluble polymer. In the present study, we have synthesized a recombinant form of resilin that can be photochemically cross-linked into a resilient, rubber-like biomaterial that may be suitable for spinal disc implants. This material is almost perfectly elastic and its fatigue lifetime in insects must be >500 million cycles.

Diblock copolymers whose morphology in the bulk is dictated by the volume fraction of the components and segmental interactions were confined within nanoscopic cylindrical pores. Since the confining geometry is nonplanar and nanoscopic, the extreme imposed curvature, comparable to molecular dimensions, places significant packing frustration on the chains. When incommensurability between the repeating period of diblock copolymers and the diameter of nanopore is coupled with the curvature, it causes the marked departures from bulk or even thin film behavior. The entropy penalty from the constraints and the curvature of the physical confinement determines unique nanostructures available only with this curved confinement.

We study the near-infrared photometric properties of red-supergiant stars (RSGs) in three nearby galaxies located within 15 Mpc: NGC 4214, NGC 4736 and NGC 5194 / NGC 5195. The near-infrared (JHK) imaging data were obtained using the WFCAM detector mounted on UKIRT telescope in Hawaii. We used the DAOPHOT/ALLSTAR pacakge to carry out the photometry. We applied MARCS synthetic fluxes to estimate the effective temperatures and luminosities of the RSGs in all the three galaxies. The results were plotted in the Hertzsprung-Russell(H-R) diagram along with the theoretical evolutionary tracks with different masses. We explore the spatial correlation between the RSGs and H II regions by examing the H-R diagram of the RSGs in the dominant H II regions for each of these three galaxies.
