Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the ratio of carrie's and run's distance in golf running approach using 52° and 48° wedges. Method: 2 women's professional golfers from the LKPGA were given the running approach in the 5 m, 10 m, 15 m respectively. The variables were analyzed through a golf analyzer and actual measurement. Results: If you send 5 m with 52° and 48° wedges, the ball run about 5 m, 10 m respectively, if you carry 10 m with 52° and 48° wedges, the ball run about 10 m, 13 m respectively. And if you carry 15 m with 52° and 48° wedges, the ball run about 13 m, 15 m respectively. Conclusion: Based on the results, if you are confident in distance, if you choose the club properly and if you are confident, if you try to send the correct distance to the hole cup, then you will have a more confident approach, which will lead to better results.
The degradation of wheel tread may result in serious hazards in the railway operation system. Therefore, timely wheel defect diagnosis of in-service trains to avoid tragic events is of particular importance. The focus of this study is to develop a novel wheel defect detection approach based on the relevance vector machine (RVM) which enables online detection of potentially defective wheels with trackside monitoring data acquired under different running-speed conditions. With the dynamic strain responses collected by a trackside monitoring system, the cumulative Fourier amplitudes (CFA) characterizing the effect of individual wheels are extracted to formulate multiple probabilistic regression models (MPRMs) in terms of multi-kernel RVM, which accommodate both variables of vibration frequency and running speed. Compared with the general single-kernel RVM-based model, the proposed multi-kernel MPRM approach bears better local and global representation ability and generalization performance, which are prerequisite for reliable wheel defect detection by means of data acquired under different running-speed conditions. After formulating the MPRMs, we adopt a Bayesian null hypothesis indicator for wheel defect identification and quantification, and the proposed method is demonstrated by utilizing real-world monitoring data acquired by an FBG-based trackside monitoring system deployed on a high-speed trial railway. The results testify the validity of the proposed method for wheel defect detection under different running-speed conditions.
To enable hard real-time systems to take advantage of multicore processors, it is crucial to obtain the worst-case execution time (WCET) for programs running on multicore processors. However, this is challenging and complicated due to the inter-thread interferences from the shared resources in a multicore processor. Recent research used the combined cache conflict graph (CCCG) to model and compute the worst-case inter-thread interferences on a shared L2 cache in a multicore processor, which is called the CCCG-based approach in this paper. Although it can compute the WCET safely and accurately, its computational complexity is exponential and prohibitive for a large number of cores. In this paper, we propose three counter-based approaches to significantly reduce the complexity of the multicore WCET analysis, while achieving absolute safety with tightness close to the CCCG-based approach. The basic counter-based approach simply counts the worst-case number of cache line blocks mapped to a cache set of a shared L2 cache from all the concurrent threads, and compares it with the associativity of the cache set to compute the worst-case cache behavior. The enhanced counter-based approach uses techniques to enhance the accuracy of calculating the counters. The hybrid counter-based approach combines the enhanced counter-based approach and the CCCG-based approach to further improve the tightness of analysis without significantly increasing the complexity. Our experiments on a 4-core processor indicate that the enhanced counter-based approach overestimates the WCET by 14% on average compared to the CCCG-based approach, while its averaged running time is less than 1/380 that of the CCCG-based approach. The hybrid approach reduces the overestimation to only 2.65%, while its running time is less than 1/150 that of the CCCG-based approach on average.
Different cores typically share the last-level cache in a multi-core processor. Threads running on different cores may interfere with each other. Therefore, the multi-core worst-case execution time (WCET) analyzer must be able to safely and accurately estimate the worst-case inter-thread cache interference. This is not supported by current WCET analysis techniques that manly focus on single thread analysis. This paper presents a novel approach to analyze the worst-case cache interference and bounding the WCET for threads running on multi-core processors with shared L2 instruction caches. We propose to use an interference matrix to model inter-thread interference, on which basis we can calculate the worst-case inter-thread cache interference. Our experiments indicate that the proposed approach can give a worst-case bound less than 1%, as in benchmark fib-call, and an average 16.4% overestimate for threads running on a dual-core processor with shared-L2 cache. Our approach dramatically improves the accuracy of WCET overestimatation by on average 20.0% compared to work.
As the first step toward real-time multi-core computing, this paper presents a novel approach to bounding the worst-case performance for threads running on multi-core processors with shared L2 instruction caches. The idea of our approach is to compute the worst-case instruction access interferences between different threads based on the program control flow information of each thread, which can be statically analyzed. Our experiments indicate that the proposed approach can reasonably estimate the worst-case shared L2 instruction cache misses by considering the inter-thread instruction conflicts. Also, the worst-case execution time (WCET) of applications running on multi-core processors estimated by our approach is much better than the estimation by simply assuming all L2 instruction accesses are misses.
For a real-time quadruped robot running control, there are many important objectives to consider. In this paper, the running control architecture based on global states, which describe the cyclic target motion, and central pattern is proposed. The main goal of the controller is how the robot can have robustness to an unpredictable environment with reducing calculation burden to generate control inputs. Additional goal is construction of a single framework controller to avoid discontinuities during transition between multi-framework controllers and of a training-free controller. The global state dependent neuron network induces adaptation ability to an environment and makes the training-free controller. The central pattern based approach makes the controller have a single framework, and calculation burden is resolved by extracting dynamic equations from the control loop. In our approach, the model of the quadruped robot is designed using anatomical information of a cat, and simulated in 3D dynamic environment. The simulation results show the proposed single framework controller is robustly performed in an unpredictable sloped terrain without training.

In this paper, we introduce a system that detects all kinds of violations at a street intersection such as red light running, speed violation, stop line violation and lane violation by tracking individual vehicles. Two cameras are used for defecting violations. One is an analog camera for real-time tracking and the other is a digital camera for license plate reading. This system is connected to the traffic signal system controller and monitors the red, arrow, yellow and green phases of an approach. Two loops in the road are used to detect vehicle approach and speed. The system takes pictures of all vehicles passing a second loop and tracks the vehicles until they go out a street intersection...
It is very difficult to analyze the dynamic characteristic because railway vehicle is a very complex system which are connected various mass element with railway vehicle system. To realize and analyze actual phenomenon has restriction that usual commercial software calculates creep force under creep theory about wheel-rail contact mechanism as basic analyzing, and approach about contact point are based on two dimensional non-linear contact theory and simplified Hertzian contact which considers just displacement change on the YZ plain. Therefore, to solve these problems there should be a new approach difference with existing one. In this research, a new algorithm for finding wheel-rail contact position, calculation method of contact force and applied force will be presented.
