  • A Project planning is one of the most important processes that determines success and failure of a project. Scope management for a project planning is also essential job in system integration project. However project planning is very difficult because lots of factors and their relationships should be considered. Therefore project planning of system integration project has been done by project manager's own knowledge and experience. It is necessary to develop an algorithm of WBS(Work Breakdown Structure) identification & document selection along to project's specificity in project management system using AI technique. This study presents a methodology to cope with the limitations of the existing studies that have uniformly been customizing the methodology by only project complexity. We propose PPSM(Project planning support module) based on determination rules regarding route maps and document levels, and CBR(Case-Based Reasoning) for WBS identification.

  • In the present study, we carried out comparative research on the anthraquinones Raman spectrum and on the anthraquinones derivative 1,4-diamino-anthraquinone focusing on change in its intermediate in terms of pH and change in the substituent. WE use the SERS method and employ a silver sol prepared by Creighton et al.'s method. From the analysis of the UV spectrum of the mixture solution of 1,4-diamino-anthraquinone and silver sol, we could see that the 1,4-diamino-anthraquinone physically adsorbs silver sol. In terms of the adsorbing orientation, the adsorption of the nitrogen atom in the amino group is perpendicular to the surface of silver sol according to the surface selection rule. From the structure of the 1,4-diamino-anthraquinone intermediate according to the change of pH, we could see that the C=O bond is strengthened in the acidic state and weakened in the neutral and the alkaline state because of the resonance effect of the amines.

  • To improve the performance of the prediction system, the system should reflect well the uncertainty of nonlinear data. Thus, this paper presents multiple prediction systems based on Type-2 fuzzy sets. To construct each prediction system, an Interval Type-2 TSK Fuzzy Logic System and difference data were used, because, in general, it has been known that the Type-2 Fuzzy Logic System can deal with the uncertainty of nonlinear data better than the Type-1 Fuzzy Logic System, and the difference data can provide more steady information than that of original data. Also, to improve each rule base of the fuzzy prediction systems, the HCBKA (Hierarchical Correlation Based K-means clustering Algorithm) was applied because it can consider correlationship and statistical characteristics between data at a time. Subsequently, to alleviate complexity of the proposed prediction system, a system selection method was used. Finally, this paper analyzed and compared the performances between the Type-1 prediction system and the Interval Type-2 prediction system using simulations of three typical time series examples.

  • This paper considers a scheduling problem in a flexible job shop with a reconfigurable manufacturing cell. The flexible job shop has both operation and routing flexibilities, which can be represented in the form of a multiple process plan, i.e. each part can be processed through alternative operations, each of which can be processed on alternative machines. The scheduling problem has three decision variables: (a) selecting operation/machine pairs for each part; (b) sequencing of parts to be fed into the reconfigurable manufacturing cell; and (c) sequencing of the parts assigned to each machine. Due to the reconfigurable manufacturing cell's ability of adjusting the capacity, functionality and flexibility to the desired levels, the priority scheduling approach is proposed in which the three decisions are made at the same time by combining operation/machine selection rules, input sequencing rules and part sequencing rules. To show the performances of various rule combinations, simulation experiments were done on various instances generated randomly using the experiences of the manufacturing experts, and the results are reported for the objectives of minimizing makespan, mean flow time and mean tardiness, respectively.

  • This paper describes a design of real time fuzzy controller using Minimum fuzzy control Rule Selection Method(MRSM). The control algorithm of dynamic systems needs less computation time and memory. To reduce the computation time of fuzzy logic controller, minimum number of rules are to be selected for the fuzzy input variable. The universe of discourse is divided by the number of linguistic labels to allocate the assigned membership function to the fuzzy input variables. In this case, since fuzzy input variables are continuous, scale factor SU is tuned independently. According to increment of SU control surface is improved to adapt the change of system parameter. At this, crisp control surface is increased. With the increament of crisp control surface, fuzzy control surface is reduced. When error state deviates from desirable error state, crisp control surface is more useful than fuzzy control surface for obtaining fast rising time.

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the process of lighthouse in the Daehan Empire. It has been considered that the lighthouse of the Daehan Empire had been built by Japanese lighthouse engineer Ishibashi Ayahico. But in this study, the rule of John Reginald Harding as an light house engineer in Korea from 1899 to 1906 will be said. It was considered that the first lighthouses in Korea were built in Incheon in 1903. But because John Reginald Harding came and designed lighthouse at Mokpo 1899, we need to research more carefully. And also many lighthouses have been placed along the coastline by selection by John Reginald Harding. So Korean Lighthouses had been developed by Ishibashi Ayahico as well as John Reginald Harding.

  • Semiempirical computations using the AM1 and MNDO methods were carried out in order to elucidate allowed mechanisms for 1,3-group(X) rearrangement processes with X = $BH_2$, $CH_3$, CN, F, $NH_2$, OH, Cl and SH. The reactivity of the group migration was largely controlled by the steric effect in the 4-membered ring transition state, an antarafacial process having a greater energy barrier due to a greater steric repulsion. For the groups with lone pair electrons, the participation of the lone pair orbital is found to ease the steric effect by enabling the FMO interation with highly polarizable, high lying, lone pair electrons at relatively distant range; the involvement of lone pairs in the transition state causes an alteration of the symmetry selection rule to that of a 6-electron system with an allowed 1,3-suprafacial migration in contrast to an allowed 1,3-antarafacial migration for a 4-electron system. Various stereoelectronic aspects were analysed in some detail.

  • We propose a novel bi-focal metallic Fresnel zone plate (MFZP) with shallow depth-of-field (DOF) characteristics. We design the specific annular slit patterns, exploiting the phase-selection-rule method along with the particle swarm optimization algorithm, which we have recently proposed. We numerically investigate the novel characteristics of the bi-focal MFZP in comparison with those of another bi-focal MFZP having equivalent functionality but designed by the conventional multi-zone method. We verify that whilst both bi-focal MFZPs can produce dual focal spots at $15{\mu}m$ and $25{\mu}m$ away from the MFZP plane, the former exhibits characteristics superior to those of the latter from the viewpoint of axial resolution, including the axial side lobe suppression and axial DOF shallowness. We expect the proposed bi-focal MFZP can readily be fabricated with electron-beam evaporation and focused-ion-beam processes and further be exploited for various applications, such as laser micro-machining, optical trapping, biochemical sensing, confocal sensing, etc.

  • Purpose: This study focuses on the Chinese smartphone market to estimate product attributes influencing Chinese customers' preference for developing new smartphones through conjoint analysis. Research design, data and methodology: The online questionnaire survey is processed among Chinese potential smartphone customers. Conjoint analysis including traditional conjoint analysis (TCA) and choice-based conjoint analysis (CBCA), is used to analyze the useful data of 500. Results: Results indicate that price is the most important predictor while screen size is the least for Chinese customers' preference whether the method is TCA or CBCA. However, the importance of brand, capacity, CPU, and screen design is different. Moreover, based on each smartphone attribute level's utility, the new products with the best combinations are different compared with both methods. Finally, the predicted market shares of the top 3 products are the same with maximum utility rule model between TCA and CBCA. However, when considering with the new best combined product, they are significantly different. Conclusions: Managers should recognize the differences between TCA and CBCA and select the best method to develop new smartphones for sustainable business in the Chinese competitive market based on the important attributes of price, brand, capacity, CPU, screen design, and size.
