칼날형 마모시험기를 이용한 C/B충전 NR 배합고무의 마모거동 (Wear Behavior of C/B filled NR Compounds using a Blade-type Abrader)

  • 칼날형 마모 마찰 시험기를 이용하여 NR배합고무의 마모 거동을 조사하였다. 온도, 하중, 그리고 회전속도를 변화시켜 마모속도에 미치는 영향과 열화된 배합고무의 마모 현상에 대해 평가하였다. 시편의 회전속도와 수직 하중이 증가할수록 마모속도가 증가하였다. 실험온도가 증가할수록 마찰계수가 감소하였고, 마모속도도 감소하였다. 마찰에너지와 마모속도 사이에 Power-Law 관계를 나타냈으며 마모속도는 열화에 의해 급격히 증가하였다. 시편의 마모패턴은 마모조건에 의해 영향을 받았으며 특히 수직 하중을 변화시켰을 때 마모융기(ridge)간격에 큰 변화를 보였다. 배합고무의 마모속도를 결정하는데 간헐적 마모손실 무게측정 대신 칼날형 마모시험기를 이용한 연속적인 마모이동거리측정으로 대체할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

폐어망 보강형식에 따른 폐타이어-저회 혼합토의 전단특성 비교 (Comparison of Shear Properties of Crumb Rubber-Bottom Ash Mixture Considering Reinforcement Types of Waste Fishing Net)

  • 본 연구에서는 폐어망 보강형식에 따른 폐타이어-저회 혼합토의 전단특성을 고찰하였다. 실험에 사용된 혼합토는 폐타이어(분말입경 2mm~10mm)와 저회를 동일한 무게비로 구성하였으며, 준비된 혼합토에 폐어망 보강 시 층수와 겹수를 달리하여 보강함으로써 5종류의 시편(무보강 혼합토, 1층 혹은 2층 보강 혼합토, 2겹 1층 혹은 2층 보강 혼합토)이 만들어졌다. 직접전단시험을 수행한 결과 폐어망 보강 혼합토의 역학적 특성은 폐어망 보강 층수와 보강 겹수에 크게 의존하는 것을 알 수 있다. 폐어망 보강 층수와 보강 겹수가 증가함에 따라 혼합토의 전단강도와 내부마찰각은 증가한다. 이것은 보강된 폐어망과 혼합토 입자간의 마찰 및 억물림 효과에 기인하는 것으로 판단된다.

  • 분리형부재 보강토 옹벽(SRW)을 구성하는 생태축조블록 접촉면에 대한 전단시험을 수행하였다. 전단이 발생하는 두 개의 블록 사이의 접촉면조건은 두 블록을 직접 접촉시키는 경우와 블록 사이에 고무패드를 설치한 경우 그리고 블록 사이에 고무패드와 전단키를 설치한 각각 3가지 접촉면 조건을 고려하였다. 전단시험에 따르면 두개의 블록을 직접 접촉시킨 경우 전단하중-전단변위 관계가 탄성-완전소성형태와 유사하였으며 블록 사이의 접촉면에 고무패드를 설치한 경우 전단하중-전단변위 관계는 연성거동을 보였다. 블록과 블록을 직접 접촉시킨 경우와 블록과 블록 사이의 접촉면에 고무패드를 설치한 경우 그리고 블록과 블록 접촉면 사이에 고무패드와 전단키를 설치한 경우에 대한 최소 전단저항력과 겉보기 마찰각은 각각 1.7kN/m, $27.6^{\circ}$와 4.2kN/m, $26.2^{\circ}$ 그리고 20.9kN/m, $26.0^{\circ}$이었다.

  • The purpose of seismic isolation system among them is to lengthen the period of structure and make its period shift from the dominant period of earthquake. In this study, the seismic behavior of arch structure with lead rubber bearing(LRB) and friction pendulum system(FPS) is analyzed. The arch structure is the simplest structure and has the basic dynamic characteristics among large spatial structures. Also, Large spatial structures have large vertical response by horizontal seismic vibration, unlike seismic behavior of normal rahmen structures. When horizontal seismic load is applied to the large spatial structure with isolation systems, the horizontal acceleration response of the large spatial structure is reduced and the vertical seismic response is remarkably reduced.

Telescopic columns as a new base isolation system for vibration control of high-rise buildings

  • In this paper, a new type of passive energy dissipating system similar to added damping and stiffness (ADAS) and triangular added damping and stiffness (TADAS) is proposed and implemented in the analytical model of a building with hybrid structural system in the structure's base which we call it; Telescopic column. The behavior and performance of a high rise R.C. structure equipped with this system is investigated and compared with conventional base isolation systems such as rubber isolator bearings and friction pendulum bearings. For this purpose a series of ground acceleration records of the San Fernando, Long Beach and Imperial Valley earthquakes are used as the disturbing ground motions in a series of numerical simulations. The nonlinear numerical modeling which includes both material and geometric nonlinearities were carried out by using SAP2000 program. Results show suitable behavior of structures equipped with telescopic columns in controlling the upper stories drifts and accelerations.

  • We report results on microtribological studies of chemically grafted nanoscale polymer layers of different architecture with thickness below 30 nm. We have fabricated the molecular lubrication coatings from elastomeric tri-block copolymers and tested two different designs of corresponding nanocomposite coatings. We observed a significant reduction of friction forces and an increase of the wear stability when a minute amount of oil was trapped within the grafted polymer layer. These polymer gel layers exhibited a very steady friction response and a small value of the coefficient of friction as compared to the initial polymer coating. A polymer 'triplex' coating has been formed by a multiple grafting technique. The unique design of this layer Includes a hard-soft-hard architecture with a compliant rubber interlayer mediating localized stresses transferred through the topmost hard layer. This architecture provides a non-linear mechanical response under a normal compression stress and allows additional dissipation of mechanical energy via the elastic rubber interlayer.

자동차 기관의 마운팅 고무에 대한 마찰특성 연구 (A Study on the Friction Characteristics for Mounting Rubbers on the Automotive Engine)

  • 우리는 자동차 엔진을 지지하기 위한 고무에 대한 마찰특성을 연구하였다. 본 논문은 실험실에서 개발된 테스트 장비를 사용하여 여러 고무의 마찰 마모 특성을 실험적 연구에 의해 분석하였다. 마찰특성은 하중과 온도, 속도 등과 같은 여러 가지 조건 하에서의 마찰력과 수직하중으로부터 측정되었다. 따라서 자동차는 물론 각종 구조용으로 사용되어 지고 있는 고무는 여러 조건에 따라 마찰특성의 관계를 연구하였다.

Frictional behaviour of epoxy reinforced copper wires composites

  • Friction coefficient of epoxy metal matrix composites were investigated. The main objective was to increase the friction coefficient through rubber sole sliding against the epoxy floor coating providing appropriate level of resistance. This was to avoid the excessive movement and slip accidents. Epoxy metal matrix composites were reinforced by different copper wire diameters. The epoxy metal matrix composites were experimentally conducted at different conditions namely dry, water and detergent wetted sliding, were the friction coefficient increased as the number of wires increased. When the wires were closer to the sliding surface, the friction coefficient was found to increase. The friction coefficient was found to increase with the increase of the copper wire diameter in epoxy metal matrix composites. This behavior was attributed to the fact that as the diameter and the number of wires increased, the intensity of the electric field, generated from electric static charge increased causing an adhesion increase between the two sliding surfaces. At water wetted sliding conditions, the effect of changing number of wires on friction coefficient was less than the effect of wire diameter. The presence of water and detergent on the sliding surfaces decreased friction coefficient compared to the dry sliding. When the surfaces were detergent wetted, the friction coefficient values were found to be lower than that observed when sliding in water or dry condition.

  • The Light Rail Transit (LRT) System which has medium transport capacity between subway and bus(5,000-25,000 persons per hour) is the most advanced transportation system. It has many benefits, cheap construction, operational costs through driverless and flexible route planning. Also, the rubber tired AGT (K-AGT) of various LRT has a rubber wheels and side guide. The side guide type has an many advantages. but occur a vibration and friction noise through contact between guide rail and wheel. Most of point that decreased comport is vibration thorough the guide contact. In this paper, It is purpose to improve the maximum running speed of rubber tired AGT localization bogie which is currently developed from 70km/h to 80km/h. To satisfy comport index of railway vehicle that is required in performance test. we examined coefficient of bogie suspension which is designed.

가황조건에 따른 Wiper Blade 고무의 특성변화 (Physical Properties of the Windshied wiper Blade Rubber According to Vulcanization System)

  • In order to obtain the high resilience, low compression set and less of hardness change in the wiper blade rubber, vulcanization system and receipes must be controlled. To improve the above the above Physical properties, the system should be taken as follows. i) peroxide vulcanization system and sulfur vulcanization system. ii) rubber having more cis-form than trans-form. iii) moderate particle size cabon black. v) usage of other improvement agent. The rubber blade with 4.4% compression set, 76% resilience, Hs 0 $\pm$ 2 hardness change could be abtained through vulcanization system, In addition, the surface of wiper blade must be treated by chemically and physically to minimize for the skid and friction.
