통계적 기법을 이용한 경로 선택 알고리즘 (A Route Selection Algorithm using a Statistical Approach)

  • 현재 사용중인 경로 선택 방법은 최단 경로 알고리즘을 이용하므로 망 자원을 효율적으로 이용하지 못하며 특정 경로로 트래픽이 집중될 경우 혼잡(congestion) 상황을 발생시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 새롭게 요청되는 연결 설정 요구에 대해 요청된 대역폭을 충족시킬 수 있는 경로를 결정하는데 있어서 통계적 기법을 이용함으로써 망을 효율적으로 사용할 수 있도록 하는 통계적 경로 선택(Statistical Route Selection; SRS) 알고리즘을 제안한다. MPLS[4]의 등장으로 부하 균등화(load balancing)에 필요한 명시적인(explicit) LSP 설정을 할 수 있게 되었으며, MPLS의 LSP를 설정하기 위해 SRS 알고리즘을 이용할 수 있다. SRS 알고리즘은 경로 선택을 위해 링크들의 이용률을 구하고, 통계적인 기법을 사용하여 가중치를 결정하며, 그 가중치를 이용한 최단 경로를 구한다. 여기서 사용되는 통계적 기법은 링크 이용률의 평균과 분산을 이용하는 것으로, 이 정보를 기반으로 링크의 가중치에 대해 분산을 작게 하는 방향으로 경로를 결정함으로써 부하 균등화 효과를 얻게 되어 망 자원 이용률을 높인다. 실험을 통해 SP, WSP, SDP[3] 알고리즘에 비해 SRS 알고리즘이 망 자원을 효율적으로 이용하여 연결 설정 실패의 수와 혼잡 링크의 수를 줄이는 것을 보인다.

유연 제조시스템에서 작업경로선택과 경제적인 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Parts Route Selection and Economic Design in Flexible Manufacturing System)

  • This paper addresses the parts route selection and economic design in flexible manufactuirng system (FMS). Parts are processed through several stage workstations according to operation sequences. The machine of each workstation can do multiple operation functions. And the operation stage of a part can be processed in several workstations, which are non-identical in functional performance. The objective of this paper is to determine the processing routes of parts, number of machine at each workstation, number of vehicle and makespan time. Two models are suggested. One is assumed that the operation stage of parts can be processed at the only one among several available workstations. Other is assumed that the operation stage of parts is allowed to be processed at several workstations. Parts are transported by automated guided vehicles (AGVs). The decision criteria is to minimize the sum of processing cost, travel cost, setup cost and overhead cost. The formulation of models is represented. A solution algorithm is suggested, and a numerical example is shown.

휴리스틱 탐색기법에 근거한 철도입환진로의 자동결정전략 설계 (Strategies for the Automatic Decision of Railway Shunting Routes Based on the Heuristic Search Method)

  • This paper proposes an expert system which can determine automatically the shunting routes corresponding to the given shunting works by considering totally the train operating environments in the station. The expert system proposes the multiple shunting routes with priority of selection based on heuristic search strategy. Accordingly, system operator can select a shunting route with the safety and efficiency among the those shunting routes. The expert system consists of a main inference engine and a sub inference engine. The main inference engine determines the shunting routes with selection priority using the segment routes obtained from the sub inference engine. The heuristic rules are extracted from operating knowledges of the veteran route operator and station topology. It is implemented in C computer language for the purpose of the implementation of the inference engine using the dynamic memory allocation technique. And, the validity of the builted expert system is proved by a test case for the model station.

  • A printed circuit board auto-insertion line consists of several processes of identical machines and produces several different types of PCBs. Each board must be processed by at most one machine in each process. So, we call it a flexible flow line. The load balancing is the one of the most important issues in the FFL which has many sequential processes. Therefore we have represented the job route selection model to balance the load of inter-process in the PCB auto-insertion line, and validated it by simulation.

  • This paper describes a procedure for optimizing the route selection and production conditions in alternate process plans under a cellular manufacturing environment. The type of production is mainly production-to-order which deals with unexpected products as the changes factor. The flexible cellular manufacturing can be viewed as a complete unification of both flexible manufacturing process and flexible production management. The integrated problem for designing flexible cellular manufacturing associated with determining the optimal values of the machining speeds, overtime, and intercell flow is formulated as Nonlinear Mixed Integer Programming(NMIP) in order to minimize total production change cost. This is achieved by introducing the marginal cost analysis into the NMIP, which will compute the optimal machining speed, overtime, intercell flow, and routing. The application of this procedure offers greater flexibility to take advantage of the cellular manufacturing due to the optimum use of resources. A solution procedure for this problem was developed and a numerical example is included.

  • This study aims at discussing the future trend of the community bus and attempted to route selection by using GIS for the welfare-type community bus, which satisfies the need of elderly and physically handicapped persons in Nagasaki City. In doing so, we have conducted field survey in some sample cities of Kyushu, Japan for taking lessons from the present state analysis of community bus already operating there. As a result of the study, we have been able to identify some best possible routes for the community bus operation in Nagasaki City, which meets the requirement of the welfare community as well as of the general passengers.

  • The objective of this paper is to help organizations select a suitable telecommunications media and dynamic route guidance system (DRGS) for an intelligent transport system (ITS) taking into account both cost and functionality. The media selection criteria and wireless communications for an ITS are discussed along with various DRGS. We describe which kind of telecommunication media and DRGS are suitable. The strategy of an ITS in Korea is described in regards to telecommunication media and DRGS.

고속도로 사고잦은 지점 분석방법 연구 (An Analysis of the Hazardous Highway Segments Using Continuous Risk Profile Method)

  • We have to develop more correct and systematic way to choose Hazardous Highway Segments. In this research, we applied CRP(Continuous Risk Profile) technique which developed by UC Berkeley Traffic Safety Center in year of 2007, and can analyze yearly dangerous level tendency of continuity in the route of main road that is under California Department of Transportation(Caltrans). We changed standard of CRP to suit in Korean circumstance with consideration in radius of curve and traffic volume. For the verification by actual accident data, we embodiment the CRP by using the data from total of 587 case of accident in latest 10 years in Gyeong-Bu Highways, the amount of 56km. Finally, the effectiveness of technique in this research has been verified by obtained same result with current method for Hazardous Highway Segments. In addition, when calculating the Hazardous Highway Segments with technique that presented in this research we obtained following statements. First, identified dangerous level of continuity in the route by using CRP. Second, Accurate of Actual Hazardous Highway Segments selection has been developed by using last 10 year's data and profile making which provide simplicity analyze of Tendency. Third, after reforming the way of selection, effective range has been wider than former selection and it gives advantage for the policy side.

차량 항법 시스템의 경로 탐색을 위한 탐색 알고리즘들의 성능 비교 (Performance Evaluation of Different Route Planning Algorithms in the Vehicle Navigation System)

  • 차량 항법 시스템에서의 경로 탐색은 두 지점 간 최단 경로 탐색을 위한 알고리즘을 이용해서 이루어질 수 있다. 다양한 최단 경로 탐색 알고리즘들에 대한 성능 평가는 알고리즘의 적용 분야에 따라 제각기 달라질 수 있는데 차량 항법 시스템에서는 선정된 경로의 정확성과 경로 탐색에 소요되는 시간이 통합적으로 평가되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 지금까지 알려진 다양한 경로 탐색 알고리즘들 중에서 차량 항법 시스템의 경로 안내에 최적의 알고리즘을 판단하기 위하여 시뮬레이션을 통해 각 알고리즘들의 성능을 비교 측정하였다. 시뮬레이션은 실용성을 위하여 실제의 디지털 도로 지도 데이터 베이스를 이용하여 실시하였다. 실험 결과에 의하면 양방향 탐색을 이용한 Bi-directional Dijkstra 알고리즘과 양방향 탐색과 경험적 탐색 방법을 함께 이용한 Modified Bi-directional A${\ast}$ 알고리즘이 다른 알고리즘들에 비해 가장 뛰어난 성능을 보여주었다.
