R2R 그라비어 오프-셋 인쇄공정에서의 동기화 오차에 대한 분석 (Analysis of Synchronization Error in R2R Gravure Off-set Printing Process)

  • Recently, there are many issues about R2R printing technique for mass production of electronic devices. Among the various Roll-to-roll based printing techniques such as gravure, off-set, flexo and so on, "Gravure off-set printing technique" has an advantage of higher printing resolution. The printing unit of gravure off-set printing technique usually consists of plate roll, blanket roll and impressure roll whose. Linear velocities should be synchronized each other for fine pattern printing. However, roller's manufacturing error and printing variations such as pringting pressure, printing speed, roll stroke and so on actually affected their synchronization anf thus the quality of fine fattern. In this paper, we analyzed the effective of synchronization error on printing quality. Also, this paper reviews the relative motion with each roll. And, this paper studys the synchronization error about its generation problem.

하단게이트 전압에 따른 비대칭 이중게이트 MOSFET의 문턱전압이동 의존성 (Bottom Gate Voltage Dependent Threshold Voltage Roll-off of Asymmetric Double Gate MOSFET)

  • 본 연구에서는 비대칭 이중게이트(double gate; DG) MOSFET의 하단 게이트전압에 대한 문턱전압이동 현상에 대하여 분석하였다. 비대칭 DGMOSFET는 4단자소자로서 상단과 하단의 게이트단자에 별도의 전압을 인가할 수 있으므로 하단게이트전압의 변화가 문턱전압에 영향을 미칠 것이다. 그러므로 단채널효과로 알려져 있는 문턱전압 이동현상이 하단게이트전압에 의하여 감소할 수 있는지를 관찰하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 문턱전압이하영역에서의 차단전류모델을 제시하였으며 차단전류가 채널폭 당 $10^{-7}A/{\mu}m$일 경우의 상단게이트 전압을 문턱전압으로 정의하여 채널길이 및 채널두께의 변화에 따라 하단게이트 전압의 변화에 대한 문턱전압의 이동현상을 관찰하였다. 결과적으로 하단게이트전압은 문턱전압이동현상에 커다란 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 특히 단채널효과가 심각하게 발생하고 있는 채널길이 및 채널두께 영역에서는 더욱 큰 영향을 미치고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

유압시스템 롤-오프 청정도의 이론적 고찰 및 트랙터에의 응용 (A Theoretical Investigation of Roll-Off Cleanliness for Hydraulic System and Application to a Tractor)

  • This study theoretically investigated the roll-off cleanliness operation to eliminate the built-in contaminants which are primarily the result of manufacturing and assembly procedures first. A rigorous analytical examination of the cleaning process associated with hydraulic systems was performed by developing the general filtration process equations. The sloughing process by which built-in contaminant is entrained in the system fluid was examined during the development of a general analytical expression for sloughing rate. This sloughing rate expression in conjunction with the filtration process equations have lead to a relationship rate expression in conjunction with the filtration process equations have lead to a relationship which describes the flushing and clean-up operation for the hydraulic systems. The effects of the primary roll-off cleanliness factors was discussed and illustrated on the figures. Then, the analytical results was shown to be usefully applied into the design of roll-off flushing equipment for the hydraulic system of a tractor.

비행시험을 통한 비대칭 무장 형상의 조종성 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Aircraft Handling Quality for Asymmetric Loading Configuration from Flight Test)

  • Supersonic jet fighter aircraft have several different weapon loading configuration to support air-to-air combat and air-to-ground delivery of weapon modes. Especially, asymmetric loading configurations could result in decreased handling qualities for the pilot maneuvering of the aircraft. The design of the T-50 lateral-directional roll axis control laws change from beta-betadot feedback structure to simple roll rate feedback structure and gains such as F-16 in order to improve roll-off phenomena during pitch maneuver in asymmetric loading configuration. Consequently, it is found that the improved control law decreases the roll-off phenomenon in lateral axes during pitch maneuver, but initial roll response is very fast and wing pitching moment is increased. In this paper, we propose the lateral control law blending between beta-betadot and simple roll rate feedback system in order to decreases the roll-off phenomenon in lateral axes during pitch maneuver without degrading of roll performance.

보강롤 구동 4 단 냉간압연기에서 작업롤의 수평하중 거동분석과 안정위치 결정을 위한 해석적 및 수치적 고찰 (Analytical and Numerical Investigation of Horizontal Force and Stable Position of Work Roll in Backup-Roll-Drive 4-High Cold-Rolling Mill)

  • 보강롤 구동 4 단 냉간압연기에서 작업롤과 보강롤 사이의 접촉력으로 인해 발생된 작업롤의 수평력을 고찰하였다. 본 수평력은 작업롤을 수평방향으로 휘게하고 롤갭 형상을 그 만큼 변화시킨다. 본 논문에서는 압연을 정상상태라고 가정하여 작업롤의 수평력을 예측할 수 있는 수식모델을 제시하였다. 해석에 사용된 소재는 고-실리콘(약 3%) 강판이었다. 수평력의 비-정상거동을 고찰하기 위해서 삼차원 유한요소모델을 채용하였다. 두 가지 모델을 이용하여 작업롤의 수평력은 보강롤의 중심으로부터 작업롤의 중심이 벗어난 길이에 따라 변한다는 결과를 얻었다. 그리고 작업롤의 수평력을 최소화 시킬 수 있는 작업롤의 최적 중심이탈 길이를 도출하였다.

Intersymbol Interferences Due to Mismatched Roll-off Factors and Sampling-Time Jitter in a Gaussian Noise Channel

  • This paper presents two results on intersymbol interferences in baseband digital communication over an additive white Gaussian noise channel-the interferences due to mismatched square-root raised-cosine filters, in which the filters have different roll-off factors, and / or due to sampling-time jitter. The result for the mismatched filters is that even the jitter-free sampling causes intersymbol interference and it is negligibly small for a wide range of signal-to-noise ratio up to 10dB, for the roll-off factor ranging from 0.2 to 0.5, the mismatch loss being within 0.1dB from the optimum at around 10-6 .For jitter interference an approximation formula for the bit error probability is derived in case of the matched filters, which shows how the roll-off factors and the amount of jitter affect the system performance. The formula is reasonably accurate.

SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS OF SUV PARAMETERS ON ROLLOVER PROPENSITY

  • The growing concern surrounding rollover incidences and consequences of Sports Utility Vehicles(SUV) have prompted to investigate the sensitivity of critical vehicle parameters on rollover. In this paper, dynamic rollover simulation of Sports Utility Vehicles is carried out using a validated nonlinear vehicle model in Matlab/Simulink. A standard model is considered and critical vehicle parameters like CG height, track width and wheel base are varied within chosen specified limits to study its influence on roll behavior during a Fishhook steering maneuver. A roll stability criterion based on Two Wheel Lift Off(TWLO) phenomenon is adopted for rollover propensity prediction. Further dynamic rollover characteristics of the vehicle are correlated with Static Stability Factor(SSF), Roll Stability Factor(RSF) and Two Wheel Lift Off Velocity(TWLV). These findings will be of immense help to SUV chassis designers to determine safety limits of critical vehicle parameters and minimize rollover incidences.

유한요소해석을 이용한 후판 압연공정의 선단부 롤갭 설정연구 (A Study on the roll gap set-up at top-end in plate rolling using finite element analysis)

  • The roll gap set-up in the finishing mill is one of the most important technologies in the hot plate rolling process. As the target thickness can be obtained by the correct set-up of the roll gap, improving the roll gap set-up technology is very critical for plate thickness accuracy. The main cause of thickness variation in hot plate mills is the non-uniform temperature distribution along the length of the slab. The objective of this study is to adjust the roll gap set-up for the thickness accuracy of plate in hot rolling process considering top-end temperature drop. Therefore this study has concentrated on determining the correct amounts of roll gap to compensate thickness variation due to top-end temperature drop. The off-line simulation of compensated roil gap significantly decreases top-end thickness variation.

공압실린더를 활용한 롤 피더의 간헐적 스트립 스톡 진행 정밀도 분석 (Intermittent Strip Stock Advancing Accuracy Analysis of a Prototype Pneumatic Cylinder Driven Roll Feeder)

  • This research introduces a new and improved design for a pneumatic cylinder driven roll feeder wherein each of the principal rotating feeder parts is configured so as to have feeding accuracy and to be low manufacturing cost. The feed pitch accuracy of the proposed roll feeder was evaluated by measuring lengths of cut offs of the strip stock with a shear attached to an air press. The air press was designed, manufactured, and mounted on the same table of the proposed roll feeder such that the strip stock maintained horizontal plane until the strip stock entered into the shear. The proposed roll feeder and the air press were designed to be operated automatically by a PLC employed controller. The feed pitch accuracy of the proposed roll feeder was analyzed by setting the pitch as 10, 12.5, and 15mm. At each predetermined feed pitch, the proposed roll feeder was tested 300 times as one test set and replicated three times. The average lengths of the cut offs of the strip stock ranged from 9.98 to 10.13mm, from 12.42 to 12.57mm, and from 14.96 to 15.06mm at the predetermined 10, 12.5, and 15mm feed pitch, respectively, among the total of 900 samples of each feed pitch. Main cause of variation of the length of the cut off of the strip stock fed by the proposed roll feeder was considered to be fluctuation of the air press during recompressing period of the air compressor to pressurize the air in the air tank. The largest difference between the maximum and the minimum length of the cut off was appeared while the air compressor recompressing the air. The air compressor used for this study restricted the air delivered to the proposed roll feeder while it was still running. Thus, this air delivery restriction problem should be improved by stabilizing the air press while the proposed roll feeder is running.
