Purpose: This study was to survey the recognition for the roles of health educator and knowledge about the examination system in health college students at a university located in Chungnam. Methods: The participants were 140 health college students. The survey was conducted using a questionnaire consists of 10 items. The knowledge about the examination system was checked for 9 items with a five-point scale. Recognition for the roles of health educator was divided into four categories from know very well to do not know at all. The data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program. Results: In this study, the mean score of knowledge about the examination system was 1.95 points out of 5, and the mean score of recognition for the roles of health educator was 3.01 points out of 4. According to the general characteristics, there were statistically significant differences in their knowledge about the examination system for health educator regarding their gender (p=.034) and grade (p<.001). Recognition for the roles of health educator showed a statistically significant difference only in their grade (p<.001). Conclusion: These results provide the basic data to prepare the necessary measures for the revitalization and promotion of the health educators.

In this study, various types and roles of records management and archives professionals are reviewed. Throughout the literature review, types and roles of the records management and archives professionals are analyzed. The results show that roles of professionals can be divided into the areas of records, users and management. In addition to focusing on records and archives, modern archival professionals must also be adept in such areas as knowledge management and digital asset management. Business and management skills for forging partership with related organizations are also needed.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify the perceptions, importance, and performance of midwives' roles among midwives and nurses in Korea. Methods: A descriptive correlational design was employed. Data were collected from 164 nurses and 79 midwives from April 1 to June 25, 2021. Midwives enrolled in the Korean Midwifery Association and nurses and midwives from two hospitals each Daegu and Gyeonggi Province in Korea were invited to participate. The independent t-test, chi-square test, the Welch-Aspin test, and Pearson correlation coefficient were used for analysis. Results: The midwives' role perception score (3.47±1.46) was lower than that of nurses (3.95±0.85), and the midwives' role performance score (2.98±0.83) was also lower than that of nurses (3.34±0.89). Significant differences were observed between midwives and nurses in their perception and performance of roles related to prenatal management, childbirth management, management of psychological changes, postpartum management, and newborn care. Higher role perception and performance among midwives were linked to the management of psychological changes and women's health, indicating potential areas for future development. Conclusion: The study results suggest directions for developing new roles for midwives. It is necessary to find a way to expand the field of midwives in public health by benchmarking the roles of midwives in various countries.

Contrary to the popular view that dative is idiosyncratic to verbs or particular theta roles, the distribution of dative is predictable from the distribution of other cases like nominative, accusative, instrumental, etc. That is, dative behaves like an unmarked or elsewhere choice for Non-Actor/Non-Patient (＝NANP) roles. This paper develops a theory of semantic structural case under the framework of conceptual semantics (Jackendoff 1983, 1990, 1997, 2002). In my proposed analysis, dative is structurally mapped onto NANP entities in the conceptual structure. Important consequences about other peripheral roles are discussed in section 5.

Railway stations are functional buildings. Their primarily role is to help passengers or freights complete their trip safely, easily, comfortably, and to improve the railway operating system. However, some urban stations are lately taking the form of what is called a station complex, and some regional stations are being constructed together with local public facilities. Roles of railway station are changing. Therefore, meeting user, railway operator, local resident, and government needs, roles of railway station would include multi-functional complex, high quality terminal, community center.

This study empirically examined the relationships between the growth stage of ventures and their business characteristics such as KSFs, environmental attributes, CEO roles, and utilization of external resources, based on data from 2,515 Korean ventures. ANOVA results of this study revealed that 1) Key success factors appeared different across the different growth stage of Korean ventures. Financial resources were most critical in the early stage of growth, while the foreign technology licensing appeared to be most important for the success of ventures at later growth stage; 2) As the Korean ventures grew, their environments became more dynamic and hostile; 3) Strategic and external activity roles of top management were critical in younger ventures, while roles for marketing and production were important in older ventures; and 4) Utilization of external resources were more frequent at the later stage of ventures than at the early stage of growth. Based on the research, this study offered several managerial, theoretical, and policy implications.
