융합기술교육에 대한 산업체 수요조사 : 나노, 바이오, 로봇, 디자인 분야를 중심으로 (Industrial Needs Investigation on Technological Convergence Education: Focused on the Field of Nano-tech, Bio-tech, Robot, and Design)

  • This study aims to investigate industry needs for convergence education in the field of nano-technology, bio-technology, robot, and design. Firstly, the area of convergence technology in nano-tech, bio-tech, robot, and design fields was examined through the literature review and case study. The areas were validated by the experts review who consisted of four industry experts and four professors in the relevant fields. Second, a questionnaire was developed for investigating industry's needs on convergence education. The questionnaire consisted of three parts: 1) awareness of necessity for convergence education, 2) the needs for convergence new technology education from the perspective of industry, and 3) opinions on convergence education. The questionnaire was validated by three engineering education experts. Third, the survey was conducted in cooperation with the Sector Council of Industrial Resources. A total of 400 respondents responded to the questionnaires: 98 in the nano-technology field, 74 in the design field, 58 in the robotics field, and 170 in the bio-technology field. Fourth the industry needs for convergence education were analyzed and implications were suggested. The results of this study are expected to provide a guideline for developing convergence education programs in higher education.

컨버전스 시대에 로봇산업의 비즈니스 모델 개발 (Development of a Business Model of the Robot Industry in the Convergence Age)

  • 본 논문에서는 컨버전스 시대에 새로운 비즈니스 기회를 창출하기 위하여 고령화 사회에 대응하기 위한 로봇사업의 비즈니스 모델을 개발하고자 한다. 컨버전스 사회와 고령화 사회의 마켓 동인을 확인하기 위하여, 이들의 트렌드를 분석한다. 마켓의 가치사슬의 구성과 분석을 통하여 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스, 헬스 그리고 로봇이 통합된 컨버전스 서비스 형태의 u-health 로봇에 초점을 맞추어 비즈니스 모델을 설계한다. 추가적으로 기술개발과 마켓을 축으로 제안된 비즈니스 모델의 진화 경로에 대하여 기술한다 마지막으로 제안된 비즈니스 모델의 효과성을 측정하고 평가하기 위한 매트릭스 기반의 평가 프레임워크를 개발한다.

지능형 로봇에 대한 안전관리 발전방안 (Development Plan of Safety Management on Intelligent Robot)

  • 본 연구는 지능형 로봇에 대한 이해, 지능형 로봇의 위해성 분석, 지능형 로봇 안전관리 주요현황, 지능형 로봇 안전관리 추진방안 등을 통한 지능형 로봇 안전관리 발전방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지능형 로봇 개발 및 보급 촉진법, 시행령, 시행규칙 등 관련법규에 지능형 로봇의 안전관리를 실질적으로 규제할 수 있는 조항을 신설하거나 별도의 법규를 제정하고, 나아가 윤리 및 안전 관련법규에도 지능형 로봇에 대한 안전관리 관련조항을 신설하는 방안을 추진해야 한다. 둘째, 지능형 로봇에 대한 안전관리를 보장하기 위해 국가적, 국제적인 합의를 통한 '로봇윤리헌장'의 제정이 필요하다. 이와 병행해 인간과 로봇의 공존을 위한 로봇윤리헌장의 대국민 홍보를 통해 일반인들의 지능형 로봇에 대한 안전관리 의식을 유도하고 지능형 로봇의 권리에 대한 이해를 제고하여야 한다. 셋째, 경호경비 관련 업계 및 학계는 지능형 로봇이 경호경비산업에 미치는 중대한 영향을 인식하고 지능형 로봇에 대한 안전관리 및 그 활용방안을 모색하여야 한다. 군사 로봇, 보안 로봇 등 지능형 로봇의 운용, 관리뿐만 아니라 이로부터 인간을 안전하게 보호하는 것도 경호경비의 한 분야로 부각될 전망이므로 이에 대한 적극적인 논의와 대응이 필요하다.

  • 본 연구는 미래예측방법으로 많이 활용되고 있는 시나리오플래닝 방법론을 적용하여 한국에 있어, 최소침습수술용 의료로봇의 바람직한 미래상을 도출하였다. 최소침습수술용 의료로봇산업은 한국에 있어 미래를 주도할 신성장동력으로 주목받고 있으며, 한국뿐만이 아니라 전 세계적으로도 새로운 신성장산업으로 주목받고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 최소침습수술용 의료로봇의 기술적 특징과 그 구성기술요소를 고찰하여, 해외의 최소침습수술용 의료로봇기술 중 특히 미국을 중심으로, 한국의 최소침습수술용 의료로봇기술의 상대적 미래우위전략을 찾고자, 미래지향적인 방안을 모색하였으며, 그 결과 한국의 최소침습수술용 의료로봇에 있어, 증강현실(Augmented Reality) Display기술에 대한 '집중전략'이 한국정부가 추진할 바람직한 정책이었다.

입체영상을 이용한 로봇 제어시스템 (A Robot Control System Using Stereoscopic Image)

  • In this paper, a robot control system with stereoscopic Image was presented. The robot control system has an auto-focusing functionality which measures the distance between robot and object using an infrared sensor. By providing depth and information based on the stereoscopic image, it allows user to have presence and immersion as if he(she) be there. the proposed robot control system's propriety was examined through the comparison experiment with the mono-scopic image.

  • This study proposes a new approach to design and control for autonomous mobile robots. In this paper, we describes a fuzzy logic based visual servoing system for an autonomous mobile robot. An existing system always needs to keep a moving object in overall image. This mes difficult to move the autonomous mobile robot spontaneously. In this paper we first explain an autonomous mobile robot and fuzzy logic system. And then we design a fuzzy logic based visual servoing system. We extract some features of the object from an overall image and then design a fuzzy logic system for controlling the visual servoing system to an exact position. We here introduce a shooting robot that can track an object and hit it. It is illustrated that the proposed system presents a desirable performance by a computer simulation and some experiments.

  • As the new industry of this 21centuries, theme park is the important position to the front leader countries as a new growth engine due to its industrial-economical and cultural-social effect. While domestic theme park industries show lower competitive position with global theme park in aspect of management and qualities and have weak brand power. The global situation of present service robot industry of the world is the beginning stage and the time for strengthening competitive position and the best opportunity becoming global leader of world markets by prior occupation through provision of factitious market creating big demand. Robot theme park is possibile to provide such big demand of various robot and this paper present of ideas for robot theme park.

Simulation of Mobile Robot Navigation based on Multi-Sensor Data Fusion by Probabilistic Model

  • Presently, the exploration of an unknown environment is an important task for the development of mobile robots and mobile robots are navigated by means of a number of methods, using navigating systems such as the sonar-sensing system or the visual-sensing system. To fully utilize the strengths of both the sonar and visual sensing systems, In mobile robotics, multi-sensor data fusion(MSDF) became useful method for navigation and collision avoiding. Moreover, their applicability for map building and navigation has exploited in recent years. In this paper, as the preliminary step for developing a multi-purpose autonomous carrier mobile robot to transport trolleys or heavy goods and serve as robotic nursing assistant in hospital wards. The aim of this paper is to present the use of multi-sensor data fusion such as ultrasonic sensor, IR sensor for mobile robot to navigate, and presents an experimental mobile robot designed to operate autonomously within indoor environments. Simulation results with a mobile robot will demonstrate the effectiveness of the discussed methods.

  • The robotics industry, that is the major industry of the future and one of the new growth power, is actively studied around ETRI, that is the leading under state-run research institute of the advanced technique of U.S. and Japanese and knowledge economy part. And positive and negative and academic circles, the research institute, and the industrial circles communally pursue the intelligent service robot enterprise of a network-based called URC. This network-based intelligent robot does the RUPI2.0 platform and URC environment by the base. Therefore, a stability need to be enhanced in the through this near future when the research for the preexistence vulnerability analysis and security request is needed than the commercialized network-based intelligent robot in order to implement the network-based intelligent robot. Thus, in this paper, we propose the efficient authentication Framework which is suitable for the URC environment.

  • This paper presents the theoretical development of a complete navigation problem of a nonholonomic mobile robot by using ultrasonic sensors. To solve this problem, a new method to computer a fuzzy perception of the environment is presented, dealing with the uncertainties and imprecision from the sensory system and taking into account nonholonomic constranits of the robot. Fuzzy perception, fuzzy controller are applied, both in the design of each reactive behavior and solving the problem of behavior combination, to implement a fuzzy behavior-based control architecture. The performance of the proposed obstacle avoidance robot controller in order to determine the exact dynamic system modeling system that uncertainty is difficult for nomadic controlled robot direction angle by ultrasonic sensors throughout controlled performance tests. In additionally, this study is an in different ways than the self-driving simulator in the development of ultrasonci sensors and unmanned remote control techniques used by the self-driving robot controlled driving through an unmanned remote controlled unmanned realize the performance of factory antomation.
