Coating technique for use with remote measurement system at elevated temperatures (고온에서 원거리 측정 시스템을 활용하기 위한 코팅기술의 응용에 관한 연구)

  • The remote measurement system(RMS) as a new experimental method is limited in its application to crack measurements at elevated temperatures because of the oxide layer on the specimen surface. Since TiAlN and Cr coating layers have a high resistance to oxidation and wear, this paper proposed a TiAlN and Cr coating technique for specimens to facilitate the measurement of crack growth behavior using RMS. To investigate the effects of the coating layer, tension and fatigue tests were carried out at room temperature and at 538$^{\circ}C$, using specimens of 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V steel. From the experimental results, it was found that the mechanical properties of the TiAlN and Cr coated specimens were similar to those of the substrate. Accordingly, the TiAlN and Cr coated layer had hardly any influence on the fatigue crack propagation.

  • A Remote Monitoring Server(RMS) server which uses Internet and World Wide Web is constructed for SMD in-line system. Hardware base consists of server computer, virtual SMD in-line system and other computers. Software includes assignment of server, RDBMS and various modules in server home page. Web browser provide production quantity, bad PCB quantity, error number and error message in virtual SMD module, user information in setup module, detailed error information in fault diagnosis module, fault history in fault history module and customer information in customer service management module. These functions of the RMS helps a decrease of non-operation time and a service response as fast as possible.

  • Today, implementation of the defect detection in laser welding has been researched for a long time, but most studies have been made around thin plate within $1{\sim}3mm^t$. Therefore, this study was measured and analyzed light emission signals of the induced plasma in $CO_2$ laser lap welding of $6mm^t$ Zn primer-coated steel, and based on this analysis, research made an investigation into possibility of monitoring in thick plate welding. It was been analyzing the measured signals by RMS and FFT processing, as a results, we were able to confirm definite difference of two signals between humping bead and sound bead. Thus, possibility of real time monitoring in $CO_2$ laser lap welding verified experimentally.

  • SMD Equipment convey an electronic parts at high speed, then assemble parts into a circuit board, and it develop a long time-duration dynamic force to be caused by moving mass. Vibration problem to be caused by SMD Equipment have an effect on micro-meter level's precision production process, directly, and dynamic stability of building. In the cause of quantitatively access about its vibration problem, input information(or data) of structure dynamic analysis need accuracy information of dynamic load. Determination of Dynamic load is various kinds of method using experimental and theory. In this paper, we got dynamic load using direct measurement method. We expect that an study on the dynamic load characteristic of SMD can be used to Equipment development of low level vibration and basis information of structure dynamic analysis.

  • When one build a building that posses Precison production process to be sensitive to vibration and SMD to procuce a large dynamic force, how do one predict & answer vibration control problem at building structure design at first stage, That is a question. It has tried to predict dynamic response and establish answering about global or local dynamic problem in building using experimental and analysis method. One of such a try, it be proposed Semi-Empirial Method that reduce error element of input information about dynamic analysis using dynamic experimental study and measurement data in the basis of real-structure. In this paper, the dynamic response problem about RC-structure building that will be set-up SMD produce large transient dynamic force using Semi-Empirical Method.

A Stereo-Vision System for 3D Position Recognition of Cow Teats on Robot Milking System (로봇 착유시스템의 3차원 유두위치인식을 위한 스테레오비젼 시스템)

  • A stereo vision system was developed for robot milking system (RMS) using two monochromatic cameras. An algorithm for inverse perspective transformation was developed for the 3-D information acquisition of all teats. To verify performance of the algorithm in the stereo vision system, indoor tests were carried out using a test-board and model teats. A real cow and a model cow were used to measure distance errors. The maximum distance errors of test-board, model teats and real teats were 0.5 mm, 4.9 mm and 6 mm, respectively. The average distance errors of model teats and real teats were 2.9 mm and 4.43 mm, respectively. Therefore, it was concluded that this algorithm was sufficient for the RMS to be applied.

  • 선박의 진동문제는 고출력 엔진의 채용과 고속화 및 전문화가 되면서 구조의 최적화에 따른 경향화 설계 및 각종 주요 기진원들이 다양화됨에 따라 새로운 진동문제가 많이 발생하게 되었으며 특히 최근 중소형 조선에서 건조중인 특수한 선박들의 경우 비교적 대용량의 출력을 가진 엔진과 긴 추진 축계 시스템 등으로 인하여 과도진동의 발생가능성이 커지고 있다 본 연구에서는 Supply Ship의 시운전 중에 발생한 상부구조물의 과도진동 현상의 원인을 분석하기 위해 다양한 운항 조건에서의 실선 진동 계측 및 분석을 수행하였으며 이를 바탕으로 효과적인 대책방안을 강구하기 위하여 구조의 진동특성 검토 및 진동해석을 수행하였다. 피리고 제시된 진동저감 대책이 적용된 후에 재 시운전시 진동 계측을 수행하여 대책 안의 유용성을 확인하였다.

항공사진을 이용한 효과적인 해안선변형 해석방법의 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 항공사진에 의한 해안선변형을 해석함에 있어서 수치정사영상 방법과 affine 변환을 이용하여 해안선변형을 분석하고, 두 가지 방법에 대한 정확도를 평가함으로써 항공사진을 이용한 해안선변형 해석의 보다 효율적인 방법을 제안하고자 하였다. 검토결과 정확도 평가 분석에서 알 수 있듯이 수치정사영상의 경우 RMS 오차가 3∼5m 정도로 나타났으며, affine 변환의 경우는 RMS 오차가 5∼8m정도인 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 정확도 평가에서 나타난 RMS 오차는 비록 수치정사영상을 이용한 해석방법보다는 정확도 면에서 약간의 차이가 발생하나 이때의 오차가 2∼3m 정도인 것으로 미루어 볼 때 affine 변환을 이용한 해석방법도 매우 정도가 높은 것이라 사료된다. 아울러, 수치정사영상의 경우 그 과정이 매우 복잡하고 어려운 점을 감안하면 affine 변환에 의한 해석방법이 항공사진을 이용한 해안선변형 해석을 수행함에 있어서 매우 효과적인 방법이라 사료된다.

Characteristics of Barkhausen Noise Properties and Hysteresis Loop on Tensile Stressed Rolled Steels

  • The rolled steels for welded structure applied tensile stress have been examined by means of magnetic Barkhausen noise (MBN) method and of a physical parameter obtained from a hysteresis loop. The behaviors of MBN parameters and coercive force with tensile stress were discussed in relation to microstructure changes. There is no change in MBN parameters and coercive force below yield strength. The coercive force rises rapidly with tensile stress above yield strength. On the other hand, the rms voltage and the peak in averaged rms voltage take a maximum around yield strength and then decreases. The magnetomotive force at peak in the averaged rms voltage shows a minimum around yield strength. These phenomena are attributed to the combined effects of cell texture and dislocation density. In addition, the behaviors of MBN parameters around yield strength may be reflected by the localized changes in strain field due to the formation of dislocation tangles.

  • Bit leaking technique is analyzed as method for reducing pointer adjustment jitter. The method for jitter reduction is described, and simulation results are represented to illustrate rms jitter performance. The results show that rms jitter value decrease to less than 25% as compared to a conventional pointer adjustment system.
