하수처리장 분산방류에 의한 방류수역의 수질개선효과 (Improvement Effect of Water Quality along the Water Discharged Area by Water Dispersion from the Sewage Disposal Plant)

  • [ $6{\sim}13mg/L$ ] base water concentration on monthly BOD has been kept at the Geukrak bridge point for this research target and it indicates the water quality under the existed rank. Due to this present condition of water quality, the demage of ecology from the upper stream to the lower one of the bridge could be conjectured. Moreover, nonstructural extinction of the ecology seems to have gotten worse between both the streams of Yeoungsan River. On this research, eco-corridor between the upper stream and the lower stream of the river should be ensured, the ecological demage needs to be cut off, a dispersed discharge method which the existed method of the 1st sewage plant in Gwangju was enhanced to should be inducted for the procuring of various water ecosystem, and the conditions by the scenario suggested from this research could be applied to a water quality model. then, analysis the improvement effect of the water quality adjacent the river. From the test result, Case3-Type1 scenario is thought to be the best one. From the test result with Case3-Type1 when the concentrated discharge was never done, 0.07 mg/L of BOD concentration was increased at the lower stream where Yeoungbon B point (Haksan Bridge) is but the water improvement effect of $0.24{\sim}2.87mg/L$ is thought to have been done at the area of water deterioration.

부산 온천천의 하계 우수기 수질 및 퇴적물 환경 특성 (Characteristics of Water and Sediment Qualities in the Oncheon Stream, Busan during Summer Rainy Season)

  • Water and sediment qualities were investigated in the Oncheon Stream and at the Wondong bridge of the Suyoung River, during the summer rainy season, 2019. Dissolved oxygen (DO) showed the lowest levels at 4.7 and 5.0 m/L, and biogeochemical oxygen demand (BOD) showed the highest at 5.3 mg/L downstream where the tributary flows into the main river. Chemical oxygen demand (COD) increased from 2.0 to 5.9 mg/L on average as it flowed downstream, The COD/BOD ratio decreased gradually as it flowed downstream, reaching 1.0. However, COD/BOD ratio at the Wondong bridge was 5.8-22.2, indicating that easily biodegradable and non-biodegradable organic matter flows into the Oncheon Stream and Suyoung River, respectively. Total nitrogen (T-N) / total phosphorus (T-P) ratio tended to decrease from 72 to 21 as it flowed downstream, measuring 71 to 86 at the Wondong bridge. The water quality index (WQI) generally improved better than grade IV after heavy rainfalls. However, DO and T-P were the parameters that deteriorated the WQI. Ignition loss (IL), COD, T-N, and T-P of sediments had distribution of 1.44 ± 1.01%, 0.35 ± 0.16%, 43 ± 63 mg/kg, and 10.9 ± 21.9 mg/kg, respectively. These were several times lower than the annual averages of IL, T-N, and T-P in 2017 before the dredging project was conducted in the first half of 2018.

낙동강 하류 양산천 일대에 자생하는 관속식물상 및 약용식물의 분포 특성 (Distribution of Medicinal Plants and Vascular Plants Growing at Yangsan Region of Nakdong River, Korea)

  • This study was carried out to survey the vascular plants in 6 regions including around Hopo-Bridge of Yangsan region at waterfronts of Nakdong river, Korea. Distributed plants were surveyed from April to November, 2011. The vascular plants in 6 regions (around Mulgeum-chuisujang, Mulgeum-station, Jeungsan-ri, Hopo-bridge, Kumoh-bridge and lower part of Yangsan-stream) were total 135 taxa of 3 divisions, 4 classes, 37 orders, 66 families, 116 genera, 114 species, 2 subspecies and 19 varieties. The most number of species is Campanulales of 14.1% in Dicotyledoneae of 81.5% among total species. Regional distribution of species is mainly around Mulgeum-chuisujang and Jeungsan-ri as 61% among total species, and other regions is in 24 ~ 44%. Ecologically, there were herbaceous plants 75% and woody plants 25%, and 9 species of aquatic plants in herbaceous plants. Medicinal (herbal) plants included in KP (The Korean Pharmacopoeia) and KHP (The Korean Herbal Pharmacopoeia) were 56 species including Platycodon grandiflorum (Jacq.) A. De Candolle, Peucedanum japonicum Thunberg and etc., and folk herb plants were 14 species including Metaplexis japonica Makino, Commelina communis Linn$\acute{e}$ and etc. among total 135 species.

교량에서의 세굴깊이 산정 및 산정치와 실측치의 비교분석 (Estimation of Scour Depth at Bridnges and Comparative Analysis between Estimated and Measured Scour Depths)

  • 최근에 국내외적으로 발생한 교각과 교대에서의 세굴로 인한 교량의 붕괴는 보다 나은 세굴깊이 산정방법에 대한 필요성을 강조하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 미국 연방고속도로국에서 발간한 HEC-18에서 제시하는 절차를 바탕으로 1차원 모형인 WSPRO 모형과 HEC-2 모형, 그리고 2차원 모형인 TABS-MD 모형을 사용하여 남한강에 위치하고 있는 남한강교에 대한 수리분석을 비교하였다. 본 연구에서는 또한 1차원 및 2차원 모형으로부터 구한 수리량을 사용하여 산정한 세굴깊이를 비교하였다. 이와 동시에 홍수를 전후하여 음향측심기인 Fathometer(DE-719C)를 사용하여 현장실측을 수행하였다. 교량에서의 예측한 세굴깊이와 측정된 세굴깊이를 또한 비교하였다. 본 연구의 결과 실험실과 현장조건사이의 차이 때문에 산정된 세굴깊이와 실측된 세굴깊이 간에는 많은 차이를 보이고 있다. 또한 되메움현상 때문에 최대세굴깊이를 정확히 측정하기가 어렵다. 따라서 첨두 홍수시 사용할 수 있는 세굴측정장비의 개발과 국내 하천에 적합한 경험식을 개발하는 것이 시급하다고 본다.

영산강 하천경관의 수위변화에 따른 시각적 선호요인 분석 (Analysis of Visual Preference Factor for Youngsan River Scenery considering the Variation of River Stage)

  • 본 연구는 수량에 의한 수면폭의 변화로 인한 하천경관의 시각적 선호도에 미치는 선호요인을 파악하기 위하여 "주변 환경이 일정할 때 수량에 의한 수면폭은 어떠한 요인에 의해 선호되어지는가?"에 대한 연구의문에서 출발하여 영산강경관의 수면폭에 미치는 선호요인을 구명하고 가장 선호되어진 경관의 수면폭/하폭비를 산정하여 시각적 선호도에 의한 필요유량을 산정하였다. 수면폭 변화에 따른 영산강 경관의 시각적 선호요인 변수는 먼저 영산교의 경우 개방감 인자, 물리적 특성 인자, 복잡성 인자 등 3개의 변수, 임곡교의 경우 복잡성 인자, 심미성 인자, 물리적 특성 인자 등 3개 변수로서 모두 유의성이 있는 것으로 판명되었다. 다중회귀모형에서 도시하천경관일 경우 물리적영향이 시각적 선호도에 가장 크게 영향을 미치며, 자연하천경관일 경우 복잡성정도가 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 필요유량의 수면폭/하폭비는 0.5에서 0.7정도의 비율을 가장 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 수면폭 변화에 따른 영산강 경관의 시각적 평가에 의한 요인 분석 결과와 하천의 필요유량은 하천경관을 조성하는데 많은 기여를 할 것이며, 이용자의 만족을 극대화할 수 있을 것이다.

당산철교의 설계 (Design of Dang-San Steel Railway Bridge)

  • Design of Dangsan Steel Railway Bridge(a part of Seoul Subway Line NO. 2), which is supposed to be replaced after its 15years survice, was done, and the reconstruction has begun in Dec. 1997. The design include new superstruc-ture and bridge piers, retrofitting of the foun-dation, rail system, electric and signal, etc. In this paper, design of the structure is mainly summarized. The main span superstructure, across Han river, is composite section which is com-posed of steel box and reinforced concrete deck slab with 9 span continuous. The superstructure for the approaches is bottom througth type 2-cell steel box girder with steel floor system and concrete deck slab with 3 or 4 span continuous. The bridge piers was planned to be reconstructed based upon the result from the various investi-gations, while the foundation(cassion and pile foundation) was planned to be retrofitted. For superstructure erection, the method of combination of barge bent and heavy lifting and the launching truss method was investigated for the main span and approach spans, respectively.

  • Daegu urban railroad line 3 is introduced with straddle-type monorail system within the country at the first time. This system is long line with 24km in total length which has not the results of construction in Korea. The rail beam of monorail bridge to be constructed/ installed in the city is adopted on the basis of the PSC rail beam. It is required to apply the steel rail beam at rapid/ curved line parts or location to be required the long span bridge as passing river and intersection. The composition of span bridge is various and the height of bridge is change with each section and exist the different curve radius due to all section is passes in the city. The rail beam shall be considered the ground conditions and then consider the construction methods. It is analyzed to construction period of PSC rail beam to be linked with period of infrastructure construction and construction of steel rail beam, structure construction of station etc. It is compared to crane construction methods and launching girder as alternative construction methods and propose to upper construction methods which is superior in economic and construction.

Two-step approaches for effective bridge health monitoring

  • Two-step identification approaches for effective bridge health monitoring are proposed to alleviate the issues associated with many unknown parameters faced in real structures and to improve the accuracy in the estimate results. It is suitable for on-line monitoring scheme, since the damage assessment is not always needed to be carried out whereas the alarming for damages is to be continuously monitored. In the first step for screening potentially damaged members, a damage indicator method based on modal strain energy, probabilistic neural networks and the conventional neural networks using grouping technique are utilized and then the conventional neural networks technique is utilized for damage assessment on the screened members in the second step. The effectiveness of the proposed methods is investigated through a field test on the northern-most span of the old Hannam Grand Bridge over the Han River in Seoul, Korea.

전주천 섶다리의 주민의식 및 이용성취도 평가 - 중요도-성취도분석을 중심으로 - (User's Evaluation on the Supdari in Jeonju-River through Importance-Performance Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 전주천 여울목 섶다리를 대상으로 하여 섶다리에 대한 지역주민들의 의식 및 이용 성취도를 조사함으로써, 섶다리가 전통문화의 향수를 불러일으키는 상징물로서 또한 주민편의를 위한 생활시설로서 자리매김하기 위한 요건들은 무엇인지 알아보았다. 이를 위하여 섶다리에 대한 인지도 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 일상에서의 섶다리 이용에 대한 지역주민의 성취도 분석을 위해서는 중요도-성취도 분석(Importance-Performance Analysis: IPA)을 연구방법으로 채택하였다. 분석 결과, 지역주민들은 섶다리사업이 민관협력 사업임을 정확히 인식하지는 못하고 있었으며, 섶다리 축제에 대한 참여도 또한 낮게 나타났다. 하지만 섶다리 이용자들은 섶다리를 고향마을의 향수를 불러일으키는 전통문화시설로 인식하였으며, 이러한 사업이 지역의 공동체성 회복에 기여할 것으로 답변하였다. 하지만 섶다리를 전주천의 랜드마크로 인식하고 있지는 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 섶다리의 이용과 관련한 14개 항목에 대한 IPA 분석 결과, 중요도는 높지만 성취도는 낮아 반드시 개선이 필요한 항목은 섶다리 주변 조경시설, 섶다리의 폭원, 경고안내판 및 통제시설 및 섶다리 난간 등으로 분석되었다. 이는 섶다리 및 주변공간의 장소성 부여를 위해 향후 섶다리와 연계하여 전통문화 및 생태교육을 담을 수 있는 광장과 같은 공간의 조성이 필요할 것으로 판단되며, 향후 섶다리를 건너거나 경관 및 생태자원 감상에 있어 안전성을 확보할 수 있는 설계 및 시공방안이 마련되어야 하겠다.

Study on collapse mechanism and treatment measures of portal slope of a high-speed railway tunnel

  • The slope of an open cut tunnel is located above the exit of the Leijia tunnel on the Changgan high-speed railway. During the excavation of the open cut tunnel foundation pit, the slope slipped twice, a large landslide of 92500 m3 formed. The landslide body and unstable slope body not only caused the foundation pit of the open cut tunnel to be buried and the anchor piles to be damaged but also directly threatened the operational safety of the later high-speed railway. Therefore, to study the stability change in the slope of the open cut tunnel under heavy rain and excavation conditions, a 3D numerical calculation model of the slope is carried out by Midas GTS software, the deformation mechanism is analyzed, anti-sliding measures are proposed, and the effectiveness of the anti-sliding measures is analyzed according to the field monitoring results. The results show that when rainfall occurs, rainwater collects in the open cut tunnel area, resulting in a transient saturation zone on the slope on the right side of the open cut tunnel, which reduces the shear strength of the slope soil; the excavation at the slope toe reduces the anti-sliding capacity of the slope toe. Under the combined action of excavation and rainfall, when the soil above the top of the anchor pile is excavated, two potential sliding surfaces are bounded by the top of the excavation area, and the shear outlet is located at the top of the anchor pile. After the excavation of the open cut tunnel, the potential sliding surface is mainly concentrated at the lower part of the downhill area, and the shear outlet moves down to the bottom of the open cut tunnel. Based on the deformation characteristics and the failure mechanism of the landslides, comprehensive control measures, including interim emergency mitigation measures and long-term mitigation measures, are proposed. The field monitoring results further verify the accuracy of the anti-sliding mechanism analysis and the effectiveness of anti-sliding measures.
