간척지토양의 제염과정중 전기전도도와 치환성 나트륨 백분율 및 pH 사이의 관계 (Relationship Between Electrical Conductivity, Exchangeable Sodium Percentage and pH During Desalinization of Reclaimed Tidelands)

  • This study was performed to obtain the basic data analyzing salt movement and desalinization effects, and two different desalinization experiments through leaching and rinsing were carried out, using samples of silt loam soil and silty clay loam soil collected in reclaimed tidelands. The relationships between the electrical conductivity of saturation extract and the electrical conductivity at various dilutions, and the correlations between electrical conductivity, total salt concentration, exchangeable sodium percentage and pH during the desalinization of reclaimed tidelands, were analyzed by the statistical method. The results obtained from this study were summarized as follows: 1.The sample soils used in this study were saline-sodic soils in accordance with the USDA classi- fication system of salt affected soils. 2.The electrical conductivity of saturation extract could be estimated conveniently, using the electrical conductivity of extract from various different soil-water suspensions. 3.The total salt concentration could be expressed in the electrical conductivity, but there was a little difference by soil textures. 4.The regression analysis showed that the relationship between the electrical conductivity of saturation extract and the exchangeable sodium percentage during the desalinization of reclaimed lands could be described by a linear regression equation. 5.The value of pH showed a tendency to increase according as the exchangeable sodium percentage decreased during the desalinization of reclaimed tidelands.

하수를 공업용수로 재이용하기 위한 정밀여과 및 역삼투 시스템 적용에 관한 연구 (Application of Microfiltration and Reverse Osmosis System to Sewage Reuse for Industrial Water)

  • 본 연구는 하수를 공업용수로 재이용하기 위한 분리막 시스템 적용에 관한 연구이다. 정밀여과와 역삼투시스템으로 구성된 bench scale 실험장치를 이용하여 하수처리장 현장에서 실험을 수행한 결과, 정밀여과 시스템은 이온성분은 제거할 수 없었으나 SS를 70% 이상 처리할 수 있어 처리수는 직접냉각수로 재이용이 가능하였다. 그리고 역삼투 시스템은 SS는 물론 이온성분도 95% 이상 제거할 수 있어 처리수는 간접냉각수 및 제품세척수로 사용이 가능하였다. $100 m^3$/일 용량의 pilot Plant를 제작하기 위해서는 정밀여과 모듈은 20개, 역삼투 모듈은 12개가 필요하였다.

  • 반도체 소자 제조 공정이 고 집적화 됨에 따라 습식 세정방법에 의한 세정공정의 중요성이 더욱 증가 되어지고 있으며, 특히 그 중에서 전체 세정공정의 약 절반을 차지하고 있는 Deionised water에 의한 rinsing 공정의 경우 ultrapure water의 quality가 최근 지속적으로 향상이 되어짐에 따라 많은 발전을 자져 왔다. 일반적으로 Deionised water에 함유하고 있는 TOC(total oxidisable components), bacteria, metallic impurity, desolved oxygen cencentration, colloidal material impurity (예를 들면 Silica, oraganic substrate)등은 ultra pure water의 quality를 결정하는데 매우 중요한 factor로 작용하고 있으며, 이러한 불순물들이 반도체 제조공정중 wafer surface에 흡착되어 졌을때 여러형태의 defect들을 유발한다고 알려져 있다. 그러나 pseudommonas, flavobacterlum, alcaligene등의 기 얄려진 bacteria들의 경우 Deionised water를 supply해주는 배관의 Inner surface에 잘 흡착 되지만 고온의 water 혹은 과산화수소수($H_{2}O_{2}$) 를 이용하여 주기적으로 처리 해줌으로 인하여 이에 대한 문제점을 어느정도 최소화 시킬수 있다. 위의 두가지 방법중 전자의 경우 chemical을 사용하지 않고, 유지 및 관리가 간편하며, 용존산소량을 줄일수 있다는 점에서 장점이 있으나, 전 ultra pure water의 system이 열적으로 안정해야 하고 경제적인 문제가 수반하는 단점을 가지고 있다. 후자의 경우, 미량의 과산화수소수 (1~10,000 ppm)를 이용해 처리 해주는 방법의 경우 경제적으로 큰 장점이 있고, 처리가 단순하다는 장점이 있으나 과산화수소수 자체에 포함하고 있는 높은 impurit level, 그리고 처리후 장시간의 flushing time을 가져야 한다는 단점등이 존재 하고 있다.

  • 1. The external treatment of sprain and strain using the herb used adhesive(貼敷), using soaking in medicinal smoke to focuses and rinsing methods(熏洗), rubbing(擦擦) and hot compression(熱熨). 2. In the external treatment of sprain and strain using the herb, Adhesive(貼敷) is used most. Because Adhesive(貼敷) brings fast reactions, has less side effects, and can control the processing time. 3. The effects of herbs used in this external treatment are almost the same as oral herb-medicines such as, promoting blood flow to remove blood stasis(活血化瘀), relieving rheumatic conditions(祛風濕), and removing obstruction in meridians and collaterals(通經絡).

A Facile Method for Micropatterning of Gold Nanoparticles Immobilized on UV Cross-linked Polymer Thin Films

  • This report demonstrates the immobilization of uniformly sized gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) on UV cross-linked poly(4-vinylpyridine) (P4VP) polymer thin films and the preparation of micropatterned structures of AuNPs on these films. The polymer thin films were prepared by a spin-coating of P4VP onto a cleaned silicon wafer surface. Upon UV irradiation, these films were then photo cross-linked. Gold nanoparticles were immobilized by immersing the polymer surface in a colloidal solution of gold nanoparticles stabilized by citric acid. The morphology of the films and the immobilization of AuNPs were studied by atomic force microscopy (AFM) and UV-visible spectroscopic techniques. The micropatterned gold structures that were produced on the polymer surface are delineated by combining with the photolithographic method. While untreated and simply spin coated films were physisorbed and unstable that could be easily removed by rinsing with a solvent, the cross-linked and AuNPs immobilized P4VP films were found to be highly stable even after repeated solvent extractions.

Testing a Small Scale Aseptic System for Milk in Plastic Bottles

  • The objective of this study was to develop and assess the performance of an aseptic system for liquid milk contained in plastic bottles, from a small-scale production standpoint. Commercial sterility tests conducted on the bottled milk were utilized in our assessments of the system, via the identification and monitoring of the principal points of the process. Four 150 L batches of milk with pH values of approximately 6.7 were heat-processed at between 137 and $143^{\circ}C$ for 10 see in a plate heat exchanger, and then aseptically transferred to 500 mL high-density polyethylene (HOPE) bottles, in an ISO class 7 clean room. The aseptic condition of the bottles was achieved via 10 see of rinsing with a mixture containing 0.5% peracetic acid and 0.8% hydrogen peroxide at $30^{\circ}C$, followed by another rinse with sterile water. Of the 4 batches processed, 2 were determined to exhibit commercial sterility, on the basis of the physical-chemical and microbiological criteria adopted. It was concluded that some adjustment of the processing line was required in order to achieve full commercial sterility for all processes. The aseptic system developed and assessed in this study was demonstrated to have great potential for the processing and transferring of milk into plastic bottles, from a small-scale production standpoint.

표준화력발전소의 발전폐수 통합을 이용한 용수 사용량 절감 (Curtailment of Water use Through the Integration of Process Waste Waters at the Standard Thermal Power Plant)

  • The Water usage is relationship which is close with the administrative cost from industrial facility. It is not easy to reduce a water usage. This research is the optimization of the waste water quantity which process waste water integration of the standard thermal power plant in system operate time. The turbine rotates by force of the steam and it produces an electricity. Demineralization Water is manufacture purity manufacturing equipment and it is supplied in power plant channel. We knew a possibility of reducing from pure control process. When it is reduced the Back Washing time, Rinsing time of the gravity filter and the activated carbon filter. Also, It is possible even from regeneration phase in Condensate Polishing Demineralization System. In addition, There is also the water which the drain of the sampling water for watching the condition of power plant process will be able to use. Integrates these processes it will be able to reduce an annual 30,000 ton degree. The research is want to use the fundamental data for the water curtailment of the power plant.

  • LB00013, a newly developed recombinant human Interferon $\beta$, was tested for primary eye and skin irritation in male New Zealand White rabbits. In the primary eye irritation test, 0.1 ml of a solution of LB00013 was instilled into the eye. In the rinsing group, the eye was washed with water at 30 seconds after instillation. No reaction was produced at the cornea, iris and conjunctivae by LB00013. In the primary skin irritation test, LB00013 was applied to the back of rabbits for 24 hours. Primary irritation index was "0" in test and control sites of all animals. Thus LB00013 was evaluated as a non-irritant on the basis of the criteria of Draize et al. (1944).l. (1944).

  • 엽연의 모양이 다른 4종류의 잎을 식물재료로 사용하고, 망사잎 제작을 위한 엽육제거시 sodium hydroxide(NaOH)의 농도와 처리시간의 최적 조건을 찾고자하였다. 중국단풍(장상열)은 NaOH 60% 용액에서 50분간, 호랑가시나무(예거치)는 NaOH 20% 용액에서 50분간, 신갈나무(천열)는 NaOH 20-60% 용액에서 70분간, 대왕참나무(전열)는 NaOH 20-40% 용액에서 70분간 열탕 처리하다 엽육제거율도 높고 관상가치가 높은 망사잎을 만들 수 있었다.

신생아복 세탁 실태 및 만족도에 관한 연구 -배냇저고리 중심으로- (A Study on the Washing and Satisfaction of Newborn Clothing - Focused on Innerwear -)

  • This study analyzed satisfaction with and washing of newborn clothing (especially the innerwear washing behaviors) which are considered to be the most basic items among newborn clothing.The survey was conducted on mothers with children under 24 months old. Using an average of 6.7 innerwear items that were changed average 2.3 times a day with baby formula and breast milk representing the main contaminants. When washing clothes for a newborn, respondents were mainly concerned with: rinsing residual detergent, removing stains and contaminants, and sterilization and disinfection. Items were washed by a laundry label to prevent clothes damage. A baby-friendly or environmentally-friendly detergent was used to wash before being worn after purchase was separated and washed in various washing courses of the washing machine every day, boiled, rinsed an average 3.6 times, and dried mainly in the sun. Environmentally friendly cotton (59.5%) and organic cotton (41.6%) products were mainly used; however, items were washed separately from regular laundry. Respondents were satisfied with methods of washing. Consumers are concerned about washing because they think that washing affects a newborn's health. Therefore, it is necessary to provide consumers with appropriate information on washing and establish regulations for the use of harmful substances in newborn clothing and detergents.
