This paper shows the study for development inprocess measuring magnetic sensor for tolerance control, First, we fabricated and annealed sample amorphous ribbons which were made of ($CO_{0.94}$$Fe_{0.06}$)$_{79}$$Si_{2}$$b_{19}$ having near zero magnetostrictive. It had 12[$\mu\textrm{m}$] of thickness, 10[mm] of length, and 2.5[mm] of width. Then, we measured the magnetic characteristics such as frequency dependency over impedance variation rate and position change over impedance variation. As the results of the evaluation, we found that the sample ribbons had excellent sensor characteristics. Then, we made sensors by using the sample ribbons, As the results of the measurements, it proved that the ribbon could be used as excellent magnetic sensor for which it was possible to control inprocess measurement within the tolerance range(~$\mu\textrm{m}$ ).

This study is for the occurrence types of asbestos within 2 serpentinite mines, Baekdong and Kwangsi, Chungnam. They were exploited as serpentinite mines for several decades and closed in the 1980's. Asbestos with associated minerals were collected from the serpentinite bodies. They were examined with microscopes and FESEM, and analysed with EPMA, XRD and EDX to confirm for the types and/or compositions of the minerals. The serpentinites contain asbestos and nonasbestos minerals. Asbestos include chrysotile, tremolite and actinolite. The chrysotiles occur as veins of several mm to cm thickness with random directions. The tremolite and actinolite occur along cracks and fractures of several cm to ten cm thickness. They show mineralogical characteristics showing common asbestos under the microscope. Non-asbestos including chrysotile, lizardite, antigorite, tremolite and actinolite were also found within the serpentinite. The serpentines form pseudomorphic mesh textures, and also show hourglass or ribbon textures. The tremolite and actinolite were formed from the alterations of the pyroxenes and amphiboles, and plot between tremolite and magnesio hornblende. Tremolitic grains are colorless and occur as commonly elongated grains whereas the magnesio hornblende grains mainly show light green and occur as subhedral to euhedral grains. Overall results suggest that three types of asbestos are found in the Baekdong and Kwangsi serpentinite mines with varieties of the occurrences. Based on the occurrence types for the asbestos, additional studies are required for the asbestos of the top soil and the air.

The analysis results of the temperature distribution and deformation at the PV cell with a thickness of $200{\mu}m$ according to hot-air temperature at the soldering process of a PV cell and ribbon tend to agree somewhat with the experimental measured values. The best result of the electrical efficiency appears in the module soldered at a hot-air temperature of $390^{\circ}C$. An analysis of the soldering PV cell with a thickness of $150{\mu}m$ at a hot-air temperature of $350^{\circ}C$ confirmed that the maximum deformation was approximately 5.9mm. As the temperature of hot air is set to decrease, the deformation is reduced and it is predicted that the electrical efficiency can be improved.
The effects of Al addition to Fe-B-Nb-Cu alloy for improving the high-frequency magnetic properties and the magnetic properties of ultrathin $Fe_{78}Al_{4}Nb_{5}B_{12}Cu_{1}$ nanocrystalline alloy ribbons with the thickness less than $10\;\mu\textrm{m}$ were investigated. It was found that the effective permeability at frequencies over- 100 kHz was very high and the core loss was very low for the composition $Fe_{78}Al_{4}Nb_{5}B_{12}Cu_{1}$ alloy. Moreover, the reduction of the ribbon thickness below $10\;\mu\textrm{m}$ was very effective in improving their permeability and the core loss characteristics up to the MHz frequency range. The values of effective permeability at 1 MHz and core loss at 0.2 T, 1 MHz were 5,000 and 1.4 kW/kg, respectively. It was considered that these results were due to far refined $\alpha-Fe$ phase structure with grain size less than 10 nm and domain structure modification.
Purpose: To represent the shape of toric corea in the elliptical function for the determination of curvature distribution and lacrimal thickness between cornea and contact lens when the lens is fitted. Methods: Topography measurements of corneal curvature and curvature equation derived from the assumed elliptical function were evaluated using the Excel program which included the necessary equation derived. Results: Mathematical expressions for the cornea whose ribbon shaped-topography image, in which the center does not coincide with the corneal apex, can be determined. Conclusions: For the application where the higher accuracy on the cornea is not required, such as higher order aberration, the cornea cal be expressed in the simple elliptical function.

To obtain detailed information on the metastable and the equilibrium phases in rapidly solidified Al-(Fe,Ce) alloys, analysis of X-ray diffraction pattern has been carried out. It has been found that the metastable phase formed in Al-Fe alloys including up to 6wt%Fe is $Al_6Fe$ and the equilibrium phase is $Al_3Fe$. Any X-ray diffraction peak corresponding to the equilibrium phase $Al_{13}Fe_4$ has not been observed during aging. In Al-4wt%Fe alloy, which is ribbon shape with thickness less than $70\;{\mu}m$, aged at $400^{\circ}C$ for 1h after rapid solidification, unidentified phase has been found. In Al-4wt%Ce alloy, only X-ray diffraction peak corresponding to the equilibrium phase, $Al_4Ce$ has been observed. It has been found that the metastable phase Formed in Al-Fe-Ce alloys including up to 6wt% Fe and 4wt% Ce is $Al_6Fe$ and the equilibrium phases are $Al_3Fe$ and $Al_{10}CeFe_2$.
Thin film magnet was fabricated by radio frequency magnetron sputtering using $Nd_13/(Fe.Co)_{70}B_{17}$ alloy target and magnetic properties were investigated according to sputtering conditions from the metallurgical point of view. we could obtain the best preferred orientation of $Nd_2Fe_{14}B$ phase at substrate temperatures between $450^{\circ}C$ and $460^{\circ}C$ with the input power 150W, and thin films had the anisotropic magnetic properties. But, as the thickness of thin film increased, the c-axis orientation gradually tended to be disordered and magnetic properties also become isotropic. Just like Nd-Fe-B meltspun ribbon, the microstructure of thin film magnet was consisted of very find cell shaped $Nd_2Fe_{14}B$ phase and the second phase along grain boundary. While, domain structure showed maze patterns whose magnetic easy axis was was perpendicular to film plane of thin film. It was concluded from these results that the perpendicualr anisotropy in magnetization was attributed to the perpendicular alignment of very find $Nd_2Fe_{14}B$ grains in thin film.
An attempt was made in this study to investigate the brazing characteristics of Zr-Be binary amorphous alloys for the development of a new brazing filler metal for joining Zircaloy-4 nuclear fuel cladding tubes. This study was also aimed at the feasibility study of rapidly solidified amorphous alloys to substitute the conventional physical vapor-deposited(PVD) metallic beryllium. The $Zr_{1-x}Be_{x}$($0.3\leq$x$\leq0.5$) binary amorphous alloys were produced in the ribbon form by the melt-spinning method. It was confirmed by x-ray diffraction that the ribbons were amorphous. The amorphous. the amorphous alloys were used to join bearing pads on Zircaloy-4 nuclear fuel cladding tubes. Using Zr-Be amorphous alloys as filler metals, it was found that the reduction in the tube wall thickness caused by erosion was prevented. Especially, in the case of using $Zr_{0.65}Be_{0.35}$ and $Zr_{0.7}Be_{0.3}$ amorphousalloys, the smooth and spherical primary $\alpha$-Zr particles appeared in the brazed layer, which was the most desirable microstructure from the corrosion-resistance standpoint.
Melt-quenching of steels leads to various metallographic effects such as refinement of grain size, extension of the solid solubility of carbon and alloying elements, and is expected to improve the mechanical properties of conventional steels. Furthermore, this technique is a useful method for producing sheet directly from liquid state. And it will lend itself to development as a continuous cast process which offers significant savings in energy and product costs. The purpose of this study is to present the microstructures of melt-quenched austenitic stainless steels. As the results of this study, the morphology of melt-quenched microstructure show that the roll contact area is columnar structure, and the free surface area is dendrite structure. As the line speed increases, the ratio of $d_{colunnar}/d_{total}$ increases from 0.12 to 0.60, but the ribbon thickness decreases from $150{\mu}m$ to $30{\mu}m$.

This thesis describes the effect of heat treatment on the magnetic properties of Co-bsaed Amorphous. A sample was chosen as basic composition with Co$\_$82//Si$\_$2//B$\_$16/ of zero magnetostriction. It was made by single roll method with quartz orifice 0.5[mmø], Ar gas pressure 0.6 [kg/cm$^2$] and roll speed 28 (m/sec) and atmosphere is ,Ar gas. We obtained the sample of width 2.4(mm), thickness 45[$\mu\textrm{m}$]. Made sample annealed for the improvement of magnetic propertics at at annealing temperature 325,350,375 and 400$^{\circ}C$ and annealing time 15, 30, 45, 60 and 120min respectiveily. Amorphous ribbon of co-based showed high permeab- ility ${\mu}$=8000∼14000, and became improvement of magnetic properties according to anneal ins temperature and time. Especially. Amorphous sample at 325$^{\circ}C$ ,45min appearanced high permeability ${\mu}$=13, 589 at frequency f= 100Hz. and loss factor was reduced at low frequency with rising anneal ins ti me and temperature more annealed sample than basic sample.
