T형 다조부품의 결함에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Defect of T type Forging Products)

  • This paper describes the method that can expand the forming limit of T type forging products used in aircraft and automotive forged products. The forming limitis determined by the ratio of web thickness to rib width in T type and the reduction in height of workpiece and especially depends on the ratio of web thickness to rib width. For this method, the geometric condition that consists of triangle type was introduced and FEM simulations and model exoeriments were carried out and compared with each other. The objective of this paper is to give the method not only that sink mark and folding phenomenon are eliminated but also that the forming limit and the structural strength of rib and web is increased.

리브-웨브형 정밀단조에 관한 상계요소해석 (UBET Analysis on Precision Rib-Web Forgings)

  • An upper bound elemental technique (UBET) program has been developed to analyze forging load, die-cavity filling and effective strain distribution for flash and flashless forgings. The simulation for flash and flashless forgings are applied axisy mmetric and plane-strain closed-die forging with rib-web type cavity. Inverse triangular and inverse trapezoidal elements are used to analyze flashless forging. The analysis is described for merit of flashless precision forging. Experiments have been carried out with pure plasticine billets at room temperature. Theoretical predictions of the forging load and the flow pattern are in good agreement with experimental results.

  • This paper presents a non-contact inspection system for automatically measuring the thickness of an aircraft wing rip product. In order to conduct the inspection of the wing rib thickness automatically, a non-contact laser displacement sensor, end-effector, and a robot were selected for use. The non-contact type inspection system was evaluated by measuring the measurement deviation of the rotation direction of a C-type yoke end-effector and the transfer direction of a V-slim end-effector. In addition, the non-contact inspection system for wing rib thickness measurements was validated through thickness measurements of a web, flange, and stiffener.

  • 본 연구에서는 유한요소법을 이용해서 초기형상을 결정하는 새로운 방법으로 서 전방 투사법을 제안하고자 한다. 전방 투사법으로서 선형 보간을 이용한 방법과 소성 문제의 물리적인 특성을 고려하여 퍼지 로직을 도입한 퍼지시스템을 개발하려 한 다. 선형보간을 이용한 전방투사법은 임의의 초기 형상에 대한 유한 요소 해석 결과 얻어진 최종 형상에서의 미 충만 부피를 선형 보간하여 초기 형상에 적용함으로서 최 적 초기 형상을 결정하는 방법이다. 그러나 미 충만 부피의 변화가 미소할때에는 쉽 게 최적 초기 값을 찾지 못하는 경우가 발생하므로 유동 특성을 고려한 퍼지 로직을 구성하여 퍼지 시스템을 개발하였다. 이 방법을 리브-웨브(rbi-web)형태의 축대칭 단조 문제에 적용하고 유한 요소법에 의한 해석중 격자 재구성의 필요에 의해 단위체 격자 재구성법을 이용한다. 결정해야될 초기 형상의 변수로서는 형상비(aspect ra- tio=높이/지름)을 고려하기로 한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 플래쉬(flash)를 가진 축대칭 리브-웨브형(rib-web type) 제품의 형단조가공을 해석하기 위한 UBET 프로그램을 개발하고 변형중의 경계 조건처리를 다르게 한 세 가지 유동모델에 대하여 소재의 유동상태와 단조하중을 계산하여 효과적인 유동모델을 제시하였다. 또한 체적은 같으나 반지름과 높이의 비가 다른 몇 가지 초기소재 형상에 대하여 변형에 따른 소재의 다이충만도 및 하중을 비교하여 적절한 초기소재의 형상을 찾고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 유동모델의 효율성을 검증하기 위하여 플라스씬(plasticine) 소재를 사용한 실험과 그 결과를 비교, 분석하였다.

  • The rib in synchronous reluctance motor(SynRM), which has segment type rotor, is mechanical weak Point. To make up for the weak point, a web has inserted in the flux barrier. However, the inductance in the q-axis is increased and then the motor performance has been decreased because of the inserted web. This paper presents a model, which has permanent magnets on the both side of the web, to decrease the inductance in the q-axis. The finite element method is applied to analyze the characteristics.

Reliability analysis for lateral stability of tongwamen bridge

  • Tongwamen Bridge is a critical link between Dongmen Island and the land in Shipu town, Zhejiang province, China. It is a 238 m span, half-through, concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) X-type arch bridge. The width of the deck is only 10 m, yielding a width-to-span ratio of 1/23.8. The plane truss type section rib was adopted, which made of two CFST chords and web member system. The lateral stability is the key issue to this bridge. However, the existing researches on Tongwamen Bridge's lateral stability are all the deterministic structural analysis. In this paper, a new strategy for positioning sampling points of the response surface method (RSM), based on the composite method combining RSM with geometric method for structural reliability analysis, is employed to obtain the reliability index of lateral stability. In addition the correlated parameters were discussed in detail to find the major factors. According to the analysis results, increasing the stiff of lateral braces between the arch ribs and setting the proper inward-incline degree of the arch rib can enhance obviously the reliability of lateral stability. Moreover, the deck action of non-orienting force is less than the two factors above. The calculated results indicate that the arch ribs are safe enough to keep excellent stability, and it provides the foundation that the plane truss rib would be a competitive solution for a long-span, narrow, CFST arch bridge.

비축대칭 형상의 단조 공정 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Process Design of Non-Axisymmetric Forging Components)

  • An upper bound elemental technique (UBET) program has been developed to predict forging load, die-cavity filling, preform in non-axisymmetric forging. To analyze the process easily, it is suggested that the deformation is divided into two different parts. Those are axisymmetric part in corner, plane-strain part in lateral. The plane-strain and axisymmetric parts are combined by building block method. And the total energy is computed through combination of three deformation parts. A dumbbell-type preform has been obtained from height and volumetric compensations of the billet based on the backward simulation. Experimetns have been carried out with pure plasticine at room temperature. Theoretical predictions are in good agreement with expereimental results.
