  • A new species of Telestacicola Humes and Stock, 1972 (Copepoda, Rhynchomolgidae) is described as an associate of basket stars (Ophiuroidea) from Korea. The new species Telestacicola turgipes closely resembles T. angoti Humes and Stock, 1973, but is differentiated from the latter species and other congeners by a characteristic exopod of female leg 5 in which the middle of inner margin is protruded, with an angular apex. Doridicola connexus Humes, 1986 and D. micropus Humes, 1973, both associated with a basket star, are transferred to the genus Telestacicola, while Telestacicola sertus Humes, 1978 associated with a hydroid is removed to the genus Pseudomacrochiron Reddiah, 1969 in the Macrochironidae. A key to seven species of Telestacicola is provided.

  • Two new species of the genus Doridicola are described as associates of opisthobranch mollusks from Korean intertidal waters: Doridicola virguatus n. sp. associated with the notaspidean Pleurobranchaea japonica Thiele and D. portincola n. sp. associated with the nudibranch Hoplodoris armata (Baba). This is the first record for the copepod associates of opisthobranch mollusks from Korea.

  • Zamolgus cavenularius n. sp. is described from the pennatulacean cnidarian Cavernularia obesa Milne Edwards and Hailme in the Yellow Sea. The new species is readily distinguished from its congeners by the genital doublesomite, mandible, female maxilliped, and other structures. This is the first report on association of a member of Zamolgus with the pennatulacean and the second report on a copepod from the Korean pennatulacean.

The genus Sociellus is transferred from the Rhynchomolgidae to the Anchimolgidae. The previously described four species of the genus Paramolgus (P. angustus, P. eparmatoides, P. gibberulus, and P. setellus) of the Rhynchomolgidae, associated with Gardineroseris planulata, are transferred as well to the genus Anchimolgus in the Anchimolgidae.

  • Three new copepod species of Critomolgus are described from the Korean coast of the Sea of Japan. They were found In association with the sea anemones of intertidal and shallow water, one of them from Anthopleura japonica Verrill and the remaining two from Anthopleura midori Uchida and Muramatsu. The descdbed three new oopepods are sympatric and very closely related to one another, though they are easily distinguished from other imown species of the same genus. This is the first record on the sea anemone-associated copepods in the Far East.

  • Lichomolgus panikkari Gnanamuthu, 1955 (=Indomolgus panikkari), an incompletely known species, is redescribed based on a male specimen found newly from the Yellow Sea. A new genus of copepods, Lutumidomus, is proposed to incorporate Lichomolgus panikkari, Notoxynus tertius Kim, 2000, and Lutumidomus parvus n. sp., all associated with sea anemones. The new genus is differentiated from the related genera by a combination of characters that the antenna is 4-segmented, with a claw and an enlarged seta in addition to other setae on the fourth segment, the third endopodal segment of leg 3 is armed with two spines and two setae, the second endopodal segment of leg 4 is armed with two spines and three setae, and the maxillule is armed with two terminal setae. Paramolgus nudipes n. sp. and Verutipes scutatus n. sp. are also described as associates of sea anemones from Korean seas.
