웹 3.0에서의 메타버스 플랫폼 발전 방향에 대한 연구: P2E, C2E 모델을 중심으로 (A Study on the Development of Game Platform in Web 3.0: Focused on P2E, C2E Models)

  • The game industry has grown not only by combining them with various technologies also introducing new types of business models such as P2P, F2P, and P2W. Furthermore, games which implemented X2E model with blockchain technology are recently in the spotlight of the public attention. As domestic game companies have also prospect the blockchain games feasible, they are seeking ways to expand their global market share by strengthening the X2E model. Hence, by carrying this new business model out, it is expected to diversify their global revenue stream, which was previously confined to Asia region. This study analyzed the case of companies that have implemented the P2E and C2E models in order to suggest the direction of development for the game platform in Web 3.0 era. The cases of P2E game platform, which constitute of Axie Infinity and Mir 4, encompass the compensation structure, the stabilization mechanism of the in-game token economy, and future strategies regarding blockchain gaming. Likewise, the platform structure, business model, and future growth potential was discussed in terms of C2E scheme, focusing on the ZEPETO and Roblox cases. Based on the above case analysis, this study attempted to provide information on the current limitations and development directions of the P2E and C2E platforms. The current limitations in legal and industrial aspects should be addressed to facilitate the blooming of blockchain and P2E game industry. In addition, the necessity of not only social support also improvement on the technology and social stigma of full-time creators is ought to be emphasized in an effort to encourage the development of C2E platforms.

K-POP의 세계시장 진출 성공요인 분석: VRIO 모형을 중심으로 (Exploring the Success Factors of K-POP Globalization: Utilizing the VRIO Model)

  • Purpose - This study aims to investigate the success factors pertaining to K-POPs from an analysis of the internal business environment. Much research has investigated Korean Moves or how to popularize them. The research mainly focused on aspects of Korean Moves. However, few studies have attempted to examine Korean Moves or K-POPs from a managerial viewpoint. The current research tries to investigate the success factors of K-POP from strategic perspectives, specifically utilizing internal resource based view perspectives. It differentiates itself by looking at the competitiveness of K-POP from the internal resources. Research design, data, and methodology - In the entertainment industry, where creativity is heavily stressed, competitiveness is often regarded within the organization as a form of intangible asset, knowledge, or technology that is often related with the organization's personnel. Some research has tried to reveal the competitiveness of K-POP using Porter's competitiveness of nations framework. Others utilize the adapted model of Porter's structure. However, these models only look at the outside environment, and not inside a firm's resource, knowledge, or capabilities. This research utilizes the VRIO model to examine the internal resources and capabilities of K-POP producers. The model measures whether a firm's internal resources and capabilities are valuable, rare, difficult to imitate by competitors, or organizable. The research covered businesses whose yearly revenue exceeds $10 Million in music planning and recording in South Korea. There were only thirteen such companies (one percent of the total population). Of these, companies for whom 20 percent or more of the sales revenue comes from the abroad are targeted. Only seven are selected and these participated in the research. In order to find a firm's internal resources, we conducted qualitative research methodology. Their business names and persons who participated in this research are not revealed due to case sensitive issues. Instead, we use unrelated initials for their names and their statements. Results - From the in-depth interview with top-tier K-POP producers and managers, the current research tried to identify resources and capabilities that helped to strengthen their competitiveness. These resources and capabilities are sought from the scope of the VRIO model, which looks at the internal resources and capabilities from the scope of value, rarity, imitability, and organization. Interviews with the top tier producers and managers reveal the internal success factors of K-POPs. We conclude that these resources and capabilities are from internally accumulated producing know-how, unique managing (training) system, and outstanding all-round entertainment capabilities of the performers. Conclusions - These results indicate that the core resources and capabilities of K-POP are robust. It will take a significant amount of time and money to imitate for followers, because these resources and capabilities are the result of time investment and are embedded into producers' and performers' know-how. Taking Luo (2000)'s argument, K-POP is in the second stage of the globalization process, which is configuring and allocation resource capabilities to a global scope.

이동통신시장의 주요통계지표를 이용한 산업수명주기 유형화에 관한 연구 (An Approach to Classification of Industry Life Cycle using Main Statistics Index in the Mobile Market)

  • 본 연구는 이동통신시장의 주요통계지표를 이용하여 이동통신시장의 산업수명주기(Industry Life Cycle)(태동기-성장기-성숙기)를 유형화 하고자 하였다. 분석 모형은 2단계로 구분되며, 1단계 분석에서는 이동전화보급률을 기준으로 이동통신시장의 발전단계를 유형화하고, 2단계 분석에서는 주요통계지표를 비교분석하여 이동통신시장의 발전단계별 시장특성을 제시한다. 1단계 분석결과 군집분석을 이용하여 이동통신시장의 발전단계(태동기-성장기-성숙기)별로 국가군이 유형화되었으며, 발전단계별 군집은 국가경제의 발전수준과 상관관계가 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 2단계 분석결과 주요통계지표에 대한 비교분석을 통한 이동통신시장의 발전단계별 시장특성은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시장구조지표 중에서 HHI(시장집중률)은 성장기와 성숙기보다 태동기에 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 시장효율성지표에서 ARPU(사용자당 평균수익)와 RPM(분당수익)은 태동기에서 성장기, 성숙기로 갈수록 높았다. 셋째, 시장성과지표인 EBITDA 마진율은 태동기에는 매우 높지만 성장기, 성숙기에는 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 파악되었다. 결과적으로 이동통신시장의 주요통계지표를 이용하여 특정 국가의 이동통신시장이 산업수명주기 상 어떤 위치에 있는지를 파악함으로써 시장환경 변화에 대응할 수 있는 정책적, 전략적 시사점을 찾을 수 있었다.

TeGCN:씬파일러 신용평가를 위한 트랜스포머 임베딩 기반 그래프 신경망 구조 개발 (TeGCN:Transformer-embedded Graph Neural Network for Thin-filer default prediction)

  • 국내 씬파일러(Thin Filer)의 수가 1200만명을 넘어서며, 금융 업계에서 씬파일러의 신용을 정확히 평가하여 우량고객을 선별해 대출을 공급하는 시도가 많아지고 있다. 특히, 차주의 신용정보에 존재하는 비선형성을 반영하여 채무불이행을 예측하기 위해서 다양한 머신러닝 알고리즘을 활용한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그 중 그래프 신경망 구조(Graph Neural Network)는 일반적인 신용정보 외에 대출자 간의 네트워크 정보를 반영할 수 있다는 점에서 데이터가 부족한 씬파일러의 채무 불이행 예측에서 주목할 만하다. 그러나, 그래프 신경망을 활용한 기존의 연구들은 신용정보에 존재하는 다양한 범주형 변수를 적절히 처리하지 못했다는 한계가 있었다. 이에 본 연구는 범주형 변수의 맥락적 정보를 추출할 수 있는 트랜스포머 메커니즘(Transformer mechanism)과 대출자 간 네트워크 정보를 반영할 수 있는 그래프 합성곱 신경망(Graph Convolutional Network)를 결합하여 효과적으로 씬파일러의 채무 불이행 예측이 가능한 TeGCN (Transformer embedded Graph Convolutional Network)를 제안한다. TeGCN는 일반 대출자 데이터셋과 씬파일러 데이터셋에 대하여 모두 베이스 라인 모델 대비 높은 성능을 보였으며, 특히 씬파일러 채무 불이행 예측에 우수한 성능을 달성했다. 본 연구는 범주형 변수가 많은 신용정보와 데이터가 부족한 씬파일러의 특성에 적합한 모델 구조를 결합하여 높은 채무 불이행 예측 성능을 달성했다는 시사점이 있다. 이는 씬파일러의 금융소외문제를 해결하고 금융업계에서 씬파일러를 대상으로 추가적인 수익을 창출하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

라오스 산촌마을의 생산구조전환을 위한 투자 경제성 기초 분석 (Fundamental Economic Feasibility Analysis on the Transition of Production Structure for a Forest Village in LAO PDR)

  • 본 연구는 라오스에 소재한 전형적인 농 산촌 마을을 선정하여, 마을 단위를 대상으로 생산구조를 전환할 경우의 소득증대에 대한 경제적 타당성을 분석하였다. 대상지는 라오스 쌍퉁구에 위치한 농부아 마을로써 산림지역이 혼재된 논농사 위주의 마을이다. 이 마을이 취할 수 있는 소득 제고 전략은 단기적으로 손쉽게 소득을 제고할 수 있는 작목으로 노니(Morinda citrifolia)가 꼽힌다. 사업 기간은 20년으로 가정하고, 1ha 면적에 $3m{\times}3m$ 간격으로 식재한 총 1,100본을 대상으로, 묘목 생존율과 노니 수매가격에 따라 시나리오 1, 2, 3을 구분하였다. 일반적으로 노니는 생장이 좋은 편이나, 본 연구에서는 생산 경험 부족, 병충해 등의 리스크를 감안하여 기본 시나리오 1을 묘목 생존율(=열매 생산량)을 기존 자료(하와이)보다 보수적으로 설정하였다. 시나리오 1은 노니 묘목의 생존율이 1년생이 50%, 2년생이 60%, 3년생부터 20년생까지 70%로 유지된다고 가정하였다. 시나리오 2는 묘목 생존율이 10%씩 감소되어 40%, 50%, 60%로 제약을 두었고, 시나리오 3은 묘목생존율이 10% 감소되고, 노니 수매가격 또한 10% 감소된 경우로 가정하였다. 이러한 조건하에 라오스 시장 할인율 10%를 기준으로, 3개 시나리오 모두 IRR이 각각 24.81%, 19.02%, 16.30%로 모두 경제성이 있음이 확인되었다. 또한 ha당 B/C도 각각 시나리오 1, 2, 3에 대해서 할인율 10%를 기준으로 모두 1.71, 1.47, 1.31로 분석되었다. 분석결과는 향후 농부아 마을은 대체 작목(노니)를 통한 저소득 영농구조를 탈피할 수 있는 좋은 계기가 될 것을 시사하며, 각종 정부 및 민간 투자사업을 계획할 때 수행하는 사전진단 절차 단계에서 유용한 의사결정 정보로써 활용이 가능하다.

제이륜국제성공(第二轮国际成功): 일개안례연구(一个案例研究) (International Success the Second Time Around: A Case Study)

가격탄력성과 생산비용에 기초한 대량 마케팅과 표적시장 마케팅의 비교 분석 (Comparative Analyses of Mass Marketing and Target Marketing Based on Price Elasticity and Production Cost)

  • Purpose - It is widely accepted that the process of developing marketing strategy is composed of three steps: market segmentation, target market selection and positioning. However, mass marketing strategy based on cost reduction through economies of scale and standardized products, can be also an effective strategic option. Many marketing scholars including Theodore Levitt emphasize the importance of applying the mass production concept to various industries including service industries. Especially, in times of economic downturn, the capability of providing consumers with low-priced, value products can be an important source of competitive advantage, as well as the ability of providing high-priced premium products. Marketers should decide whether they will implement mass marketing strategy or target marketing strategy. The present study theoretically shows that firms should understand the target customers' price elasticity as well as the firm's cost structure in order to make such a strategic decision. Research design, data, and methodology - Instead of implementing an empirical study, this study provides a theoretical(mathematical) investigation on the effect of consumers' price elasticity on a firm's optimal price level, profit, sales volume, revenue, and cost. The results are mostly deduced from derivative calculations and several graphs are utilized to represent the results on the relationships between the variables under study. Results - The analytical results suggest that it is more profitable for a firm to adopt the segment/target marketing strategy (more specifically the differentiation strategy) when the degree of consumers' heterogeneity is high and the proportion of the fixed cost in the total cost is low. On the other hand, if the degree of consumers' heterogeneity is low and the fixed cost is high, it is better to adopt the mass marketing strategy or the cost leadership strategy. The strategy of concentrating on a single target market will be effective when consumers' needs are highly heterogeneous but the fixed cost is high. Any of the three types of generic strategies proposed my Porter(1980, 1985) can be applied when both the consumers' heterogeneity and the fixed cost are low. This study also proposes the contribution-margin-based method for developing the optimal pricing strategy. Conclusions - One of the primary roles of marketers is to find a proper compromise between the two conflicting goals of maximizing customer satisfaction and minimizing cost. In order to do so, he or she should understand the characteristics of the target customers as well as the cost structure of the firm. In addition to the theoretical analyses, this study discusses several business cases and explains how superior companies find the optimal compromise position between these two goals and dominate the market. One of the radical changes recently taking place in business arena is the reduction of production and distribution costs of both physical goods and information due to the advancement and the wide diffusion of information technology. The cost reduction combined with lowered priced elasticity incurred by customized products and services, will enable many firms to adopt the mass customization strategy.

노인병원의 운명 및 재무구조 특성에 관한 연구 (The research for the management and financial affairs of geriatric hospital)

  • According to the increase of the proportion of aged people, the medical demand for a senile chronic disease has been increased; therefore, aged people call for a geriatric hospital for special geriatric medical service. The main purpose of this study was to analyze the general characteristics and financial status of geriatric hospitals. For the study, a questionnaire was designed and sent to the geriatric hospitals to fill out the patient statistics, number of headcount by department, etc. to find out the stability, profitability, activity and so on financial statements of the hospitals were analyzed. The major findings of this study were as belows. 1. The ratio of the medical expenses to the revenue of the geriatric hospitals is much lower than acute care hospitals. But the probability of bankruptcy is higher due to the high ratio of the liabilities therefore it is required to stabilize the financial position by donating more money. 2. Government budget for the elderly people is not enough. To support the geriatric hospitals by going subsides, government should increase the budget. 3. Portion's of the patient of the geriatric hospitals are government support patient. Since the government doesn't pay the medical charges quickly, geriatric hospitals have a serious cash flow problem. Therefore, it is required that government is to prepay the bill. 4. Since geriatric hospitals treat elderly patient and most patients are government support patients, geriatric hospitals can be said to operate under the strict. 5. When we introduce the daily medical charge, the self-liability will be reduced on approximately 50% of current. This affection will bring a huge progressing financial structure to the medical profit of the geriatric hospital, and also patient family will feel less economical burden.

전자산업의 GVC 현황과 국내 전자업체의 GVC 추진사례 분석 (GVC status of the electronics industry & GVC promote case studies of the domestic electronics industry)

  • 전자산업은 많은 수익과 일자리를 제공하고 다양한 융 복합 분야에서 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있다. 최근 IT 융합기술 발달과 세계경제 통합으로 산업전략이 변하면서 ICT산업의 글로벌가치사슬(GVC)이 확대되고 있다. 글로벌가치사슬은 R&D, 제조, 판매, A/S 등 부가가치 생산을 위한 기업 활동의 모든 과정이 세계적인 차원에서 이루어지는 구조이다. 본 연구의 목적은 전자산업의 GVC 현황과 국내 대표적인 전자업체인 삼성전자와 LG전자의 GVC 추진사례를 분석하는데 있다. 전자산업의 GVC는 1980년대 이후 발전하기 시작하면서 미국과 캐나다 등 선진국에 생산기지를 구축하였다. 2000년 이후에는 인건비 등 원가절감을 위해 중국, 대만, 인도 등 저비용 국가로 이전하였다. 최근에는 중국의 인건비 및 생산비 급상승으로 인해 상대적으로 저렴한 베트남으로 생산기지를 이동하는 현상이 나타나고 있다. 국내 전자업체들은 지속적으로 성장하기 위해 수출대상국을 상대로 브랜드 및 품목별 마케팅을 실시하는 등 새로운 전략을 수행해야 한다.

Graphs Used in ASEAN Trading Link's Annual Reports: Evidence from Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore

  • This study reports a preliminary finding of the types and numbers of graphs being presented in the annual reports of about thirty top listed companies trading publicly in the stock markets of three countries-Thailand (SET), Malaysia (BM), and Singapore (SGX)-that were chosen based on their inclusion in the ASEAN Stars Index under the ASEAN Trading Link project. A total of 6,753 graphs from nineteen sectors were extracted and examined. Banking, real estate, and telecommunications are ranked the three most condense sectors, accounting for 50.2% of the total number of graphs observed. The three most used graphs are the Conservative Bar, Donut graph and Stack Bar. Less than one percent of Infographic type graphs were used. The five most depicted graphed variables are Asset, Revenue, Net profit, Liability, and Dividend. Using rudimentary framework to detect distorted or misleading statistical graphs, the study found 60.6% of the graphs distorted across the three markets, SET, BM, and SGX. BM ranked first in percentages of graphs being distortedly presented (73%). The other two markets, SET and SGX, have about the same proportions, 53.88% and 53.03%, respectively. Likewise, the proportions of Well-designed versus Inappropriate-designed graphs of the latter two markets are a little over one time (SET = 1 : 1.17; SGX = 1 : 1.13), whereas the proportion is almost triple for the BM market (BM = 1 : 2.70). In addition, the trend of distorted graphs found is slightly increasing as the longevity of the ASEAN Stars Index increases. One possible explanation for the relatively equal proportion of inappropriate graphs found is that SET is the smallest market and SGX, though the largest, is the most regulated market. BM, on the other hand, may want to present their financial data in the most attractive manner to prospective investors, thus, regulatory constraints and governance structure are still lenient.
