This study is to analyze the Impact of visitor's satisfaction on the operating staff's internal satisfaction of festival. This study purposed to provide the basic data for the marketing and strategic planning for improve of visitor's satisfaction. According to the result of this study, we analyzed that the operating staff's internal satisfaction of festival will affect the visitor's satisfaction including the understanding of local culture, venue's comfort, satisfaction of resting place, convenience of information facilities.

A multi-tasking machine tool for large scale marine engine crankshafts has been developed together with design technologies for its special devices. Since work pieces, that is, crankshafts to be machined are big and heavy; weight of over 100 tons, length of 10 m long, and diameter of over 3.5 m, several special purpose core devices are necessarily developed such as PTD (Pin Turning Device) for machining eccentric pin parts, face place and steady rest for chucking and resting heavy work pieces. PTD is a unique special purpose device of open-and-close ring typed structure equipped with revolving ring spindle for machining eccentric pins apart from journal. In order to achieve high rigidity of the machine tool, structural design optimization using TMSA (Taguch Method based Sequential Algorithm) has been completed with FEM structural analysis, and a hydrostatic bearing system for the PTD has been developed with theoretical hydrostatic analysis.

In this research, we examined the effect of NaCl on the growth, energy metabolism, and proton motive force of Halomonas salina, and the effect of compatible solutes on the bacterium growing in the high salinity environment. H. salina was isolated from seawater and identified by 16srDNA sequencing. The growth of H. salina was not enhanced by the addition of external compatible solutes (choline and betaine) in the high salinity environment. The resting cells of H. salina absorbed more glucose in the presence of 2.0 M NaCl than in its absence. H. salina did not grow in the medium with either KCl, RbCl, CsCl, $Na_2SO_4$, or $NaNO_3$, in place of NaCl. The optimal concentration of NaCl for the growth of H. salina ranged from 1.4 M to 2.5 M, and the growth yield was decreased in the presence of NaCl below 1.4M and above 2.5M. The activity of isocitrate dehydrogenase, pyruvate dehydrogenase, and malate dehydrogenase of H. salina was not inhibited by NaCl in in vitro test. The proton translocation of H. salina was detected in the presence of NaCl only. These results indicate that NaCl is absolutely required for the normal growth and energy metabolism of H. salina, but the bacterial growth is not enhanced by the compatible solutes added to the growth medium.

The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of service facilities, and needs for service facilities using for leisure in multi-family housing properties. The multi-family housing complexes in Seoul were selected in this study. Site visits, analysis of drawing of complex and questionnaire survey were conducted. The statistical techniques used for data analysis included frequencies. The research results were as follows; The studied apartment complexes provided the appropriate and adequate service facilities in accordance to the regulations of multi-family housing. Playground for children, senior center, resting place were found in all the complexes, but the presence of exercise facilities, shared spaces, green spaces, and community parks was somewhat different across the studied complexes. Satisfaction with leisure facilities were different with the apartment complexes. The respondents who had lived older apartment complexes were more likely to increase dissatisfaction, and the reason was attributed to no presence of the leisure facilities they wanted to use. The respondents said that such service facilities using for leisure facilities as playground for children, senior center, community parks, walkways, reading room, and fitness center were highly needed.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of leisure facilities and to examine residents' needs for leisure facilities in apartment complex. The questionnaire survey and content analysis were used. The Data for content analysis were 476 site plans, and the subjects of questionnaire survey were 673 residents lilving in 35 apartment complex. Frequency, Percentage, and mean, ANOVA-A, x^{2}-test, and multiple regression were used for data analysis. The major results were as follows. 1) Facilities for children play, and senior, sports facilities, community center, green area, and resting place were included in leisure facilities in apartment complex. These facilities were different according to complex site and built-period. 2)The degree of satisfaction of leisure facilities was lower than neutral. The satisfaction of leisure facilities related with diversity of leisure facilities and program, and poor environment. 3) Subjects needed the facilities recommended in housing act including diverse leisure facilities such as sports center and resident's self government facilities. And they needed divers facilities for sports. 4) In terms of location, they needed leisure facilities which was closer to their house.

This study examines the family concept and family-related values among pre-service home economics teachers. Questionnaires are completed by 242 pre-service home economics teachers. The results indicate that the respondents defined the family as a blood ties, a resting place, affection, and warmth. They tend to regard divorced, remarried, and adopted members as families, while classifying homosexual couples, members living together in a communal fashion, and great-great grandparents into nonfamily groups. Majority of them agree that it had better to get married or it depends on personal circumstances. In terms of cohabitation, they think it can be an opportunity to check the compatibility before marriage. Also, they perceive parenthood as a personal lifestyles, statement of social maturation, sound mind, and realization of morality. They agreed to divorce relatively high in case of unfaithfulness and relative troubles, but agreement of divorce was relatively low because of instrumental reason and psychological factors, The group majoring clothing and textile perceives the most negatively the influence of divorce to children. Further discussion and implications are discussed.

The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data for planning and designing Village Parks in Seoul in the future, which result from analyzing post-occupancy evaluation. For conducting this study, 10 Village Parks among 45, built between 1996 and 1997, were selected and analyzed. The results of this study are as follows. The degree of satisfaction of 10 Village Parks in Seoul has been evaluated on a scale of 10, to be a 6.68 average. This result means that the most respondents are satisfied with the existing Village Parks in Seoul. The correlation of the degree of satisfaction with major planning factors for 3 types of Village Parks shows that accessibility is the most important factor. As for future directions of planning and designing Village Parks, many kinds of sitting, leaning and resting place need to be provided. It is also necessary to improve the visual quality of the parks with various spatial elements. The research also shows that various facilities for people's use should be provided in Village Parks.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the using condition and requirement for outdoor space between the parallel types of elementary school buildings focused on Chungbuk province in Korea. Consequently, we investigated the actual conditions of students and teachers, using conditions of outdoor space between school buildings. The summary of outdoor space can be given below. 1) In the using condition of outdoor spaces, most of them have path & covered walks, garden, playground and soon. The distances between neighboring building fixed, the use and quality of outdoor space is differently to spatial configuration of school buildings. For example, garden functions as itself in case of D/H>3, but the other space to observe in D/H>3. 2) In the requirements of outdoor spaces, the amount of scatter number of classmates and teachers is wide. The favoring outdoor space is the woods to take a rest by oneself, the demanding outdoor space is almost a resting place like a school store in case of classmates and the natural facilities like ponds garden pagora in teachers.

In this study, the finite element method for nonlinear problems is developed theroretically to see the design loads of foundation, when the circular plate resting on elasto-viscoplastic soil medium is loaded axisymmetrically. The paper shows that the plastic zone of soil medium is displayed at the near the edge of plate at the first place; when the plastic zone of soil medium is linked around central axis, the external load is termed by allowable load or design load, and then the contact pressure changes abruptly, in this case it is approved to be the risk of shear failure. The results of numerical analysis using the Mohr-Coulomb yield criterion, and experimental analysis for a appropriate safety factor are approximative, but numerical results are smaller than the value based on Terzaghi's theory.

The purpose of this study is to present direction in outdoors space planning and design after direction through user characteristic analysis through spectacle component establishment of culture art center outdoors space through on-the-site analysis and literature investigation to culture art center of Seoul city and capital region 17 places in this research. The data was collected from classification and bisection kind, subdivision kind, and great classification composed to 17 items. User satisfaction side and Variable that is looked below satisfaction than average appeared to bench, pergola, sculpture facilities, pavement facilities, border facilities. And these facilities were analyzed dissatisfaction. When see satisfaction model, when make up culture art center or similar facilities in local government hereafter because parking facilities and rest area cause big effect in satisfaction, is judged that is item to consider most preferentially. In most case, parking lot security from outdoors space, resting place security, security of field performance facilities etc. taking a serious view because tendency that users see performance or use most vehicles except neighborhood walking area for a rest, a walk etc.. is trend. But, is judged that physical side so that can feel satisfaction as space security of quantitative side is important but users utilize substantially and side that is the program are more important in hereafter.
