스트레인 게이지식 로드셀의 고정밀 크립보상 (High Accurate Creep Compensation of the Loadcell using the Strain Gauge)

  • 본 논문은 스트레인 게이지(strain gauge)식 로드셀(loadcell)의 대표적인 크립오차(creep error)에 대해서 디지털 신호처리방식을 사용한 실용적인 보상법(compensation method)을 제안한다. 신호의 보상방법은 로드셀의 출력응답을 실측해서 보상상수(시정수)와 보상계수를 결정한 후 마이크로프로세서의 내부메모리에 보상상수와 보상계수를 저장한 후 중량값을 디지털로 표시할 시점에 마이크로프로세서에서 연산처리한 크립에러 보상처리값을 로드셀의 출력신호에서 실측한 에러값과 서로 상쇠시키는 보상방법이다. 추가적으로 보상방법을 디지털전자저울에 직접 적용 시험하기 위해서 전용의 보상소프트웨어를 제작한 후 디지털전자저울의 크립특성을 실측해서 보상전 정격출력의 크립오차 0.03%의 로드셀을 정밀디지털전자저울의 허용오차 범위인 0.01%~0.001%이상으로 복잡한 연산처리 없이 정확하게 직접 보상처리하는 실용적인 방법을 제안했다.

  • 밀도가 다른 4개의 실험공에서 2007년부터 2011년까지 수행한 이격보정 실험 자료를 이용하여 가장 효과적인 보정 차트를 알기 위해 연구를 수행하였다. 먼저 선원의 불규칙적인 붕괴특성을 파악하고 비이상적인 감마반응을 잘라내는 방법으로 이격보정 자료의 효과를 높였다. 수정된 이격보정 자료로부터 검출기 조합별, 시추공 밀도별, 이격보정 기법별 효과를 분석하였다. 그 결과 통상적으로 사용해 온 LSD-SSD 조합보다 LSD-MSD 조합이 이격보정에 더 적합하며, 지하수위면 하부에 위치한 토양층이나 풍화대의 이격보정에서는 큰 오차를 피하면서 이격보정이 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 일반 이격보정에 비해 밀도형 이격보정에서 오차의 규모가 전반적으로 높게 나타났으나 지하수면 하부에 있는 풍화대나 토양층을 대상으로 하는 이격보정에서는 충분히 밀도형 이격보정이 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

  • This paper presents the power compensation by wound-rotor induction motor with a Fly-wheel. In the wound-rotor induction motor the primary power is controlled by AC excitation which used the secondary power conversion. Based on theory this paper describes the dynamic response analysis of the would-rotor induction motor with Fly-wheel. Simulation and experimental results are performed to verify the proposed control method

  • This paper considers robust stability and transient behavior of the Two - Degree - of - Freedom(2DOF) servosystem. A class of uncertainties allowed in the plant model is obtained, to which the servosystem is robustly stable for any gain of the integral compensator. This result implies that if the plant uncertainty is the allowable set defined by the condition, a high - gain compensation can be carried out preserving stability to achieve a high - speed tracking response. The transient behavior attainable by the limit of the high - gain compensation is calculated using the singular perturbation approach.

  • This paper is concerned with a robust model following control scheme for manipulators which contains uncertain terms. Our method consists of nonlinear compensation and linear compensation. The former ensures the robustness of the plant, the later achieves both the desired model following response and the desired initial error convergence.

  • This paper explores desirable features of annual salary system a corporation can adopt to design it for R&D personnel or staff. This research, in particular, purports to examine how effective the money compensation is used to motivate R&D personnel and some differences with respect to their research areas, educational backgroudns and professional positions. In addition, the paper analyzes the motivational effectiveness of non-money compensation by comparing the preference level of the money and non-money rewards such as recognition, autonomy and responsibilities, etc. The response of R&D personnel as analyzed in this paper would provide a helpful reference for designing an annual salary system in R&D group.

  • In the framework of competitive electricity market, the Market Power due to the transmission congestion, lack of demand-side response, various uncertain factors etc. have been significant problem. This paper reviews the market rules of Korea power system and the uplift scheme for constrained on/off generators. Then, this paper points out several problems and the mitigation measures of local market power concerning the compensation for constrained-off generators.

  • Current mode control has been used for DC to DC converters for over twenty years. There are many different control schemes which use the inductor current signal in one way or another to control the DC to DC converter. In this paper, the state space averaging technique is applied for the analysis of flyback type current mode control circuit. We made real converter for the guarantee of stable output characteristic and proper design of feedback circuit. The validity of proposed method is verified from test result. The improvement of stability is confirmed by sinusoidal signal injection method with isolated transformer. It is known that phase margin is sufficient and gain crossover frequency fc is early 1/5 of switching frequency, fs, from the experimental result with frequency response analyzer.

Predistortion for Frequency-Dependent Nonlinearity of a Laser in RoF Systems

  • In radio-over-fiber (RoF) systems, nonlinear compensation is essential to improve performance. Among the several existing nonlinear compensation techniques, we investigate a predistortion technique for a directly modulated laser in an RoF system. First, we obtain the input-to-output response of a directly modulated laser at 160, 820, and 1,540 MHz. The results show that the laser response is dependent on the frequency band. Second, we design an optimal predistortion circuit to compensate for the nonlinear responses of three frequency bands. We design the predistortion circuit with two options: each predistortion circuit for each frequency band and one single predistortion circuit for all the three frequency bands. Finally, we present the simulation results of the predistortion system obtained using a commercial simulator. These results show that the third intermodulation distortion (IMD3) is improved by 0.6-9 dB for the three frequency bands with only a single predistortion circuit.
