Tracking Echo-Presence Uncertainty 기반의 잔여 반향 억제 (Residual Echo Suppression Based on Tracking Echo-Presence Uncertainty)

  • 본 논문에서는 주파수영역에서 음향학적 반향 억제 (AES, acoustic echo suppression) 성능을 개선시키기 위해 tracking echo-presence uncertainty (TEPU) 기법에 근거한 새로운 잔여 반향 억제 (RES, residual echo suppression) 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 RES를 위해 마이크로폰 입력신호 대 원단의 반향신호가 제거된 결과신호의 전력 비 (ratio)를 문턱 (threshold) 값에 의한 decision rule에 적용하여 추정된 echo-presence uncertainty를 RES 필터로 이용한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 각각의 주파수 채널에서 echo-presence uncertainty를 도출하여 용이하게 잔여 반향신호를 제거하는 장점을 가진다. 실제로 잔여 반향신호를 제거하기 위한 기존의 방법과 객관적인 실험을 통해 비교 평가한 결과 우수한 성능을 보였다.

  • It depends on the joint configuration, dimensions and constraints on the joint whether the residual stress at the root of single-sided butt weld is tensile or not. Therefore, recommendation is generally made that high R ratio should be used in the fatigue test of this type of joint in order to prevent excessively long life caused by compressive residual stress. in this research, the residual stress profile in butt weld joint was obtained through compliance method, using successive extension of a slot and measurement of the variation of strain during the slot extension. The residual stress profile was firstly assumed to be the linear summation of Legendre polynomials up to 9th order excluding 0th and 1st order. Strain variation on the surface was measured while the slot was being extended by cutting to find out the 8 unknown coefficients of each polynomial tenn. The cut was made by the electric discharge machine. It was concluded that the residual stress near the surface stayed positive, however, it turned into the negative value as soon as it passed through 2 or 3 mm depth. Several fatigue tests were also carried out under zero stress ratio. Test results showed that fatigue life coincides well with the design cuive of butt joint in British Standards, which supports that it is tensile residual stress that exists near the weld root.

고탄소강 다단 신선 와이어의 표면 잔류응력 예측모델 (Prediction Model of Surface Residual Stress for Multi-Pass Drawn High Carbon Steel Wire)

  • During the multi-pass wire drawing process, wires suffer a great amount of plastic deformation that is through the cross-section. This generates tensile residual stress at surface of drawn wires. The generated residual stress on surface is one of the problems for quality of wires so that prediction and reduction of residual stresses is important to avoid unexpected fracture. Therefore, in this study, the effect of process variables such as semi-die angle, bearing length and reduction ratio on the residual stress was evaluated through Finite Element Analysis. Based on the results of the Analysis, a prediction model was established for predicting residual stress on the surface of high carbon steel(AISI1072, AISI1082). To identify the effectiveness of the proposed model, X-ray diffraction is used to measure the residual stresses on the surface. As the result of the comparison between calculated residual stresses and measured residual stresses, the model could be used to predict residual stresses in cold drawn wire.

  • It was very important to evaluate concrete experimentally at elevated temperature because concrete was filled with aggregate of concrete volume about 70 percent. Concrete exposure to high temperatures produces changes in its internal structure, for instance loss of its strength and deformation capacity, in extreme cases risking the service life of the structure. The work of this paper is performed to evaluate the thermal behavior of ultra-high strength concrete having different water to cement ratio (strength), fine aggregate to aggregate ratio and maximum size of coarse aggregate. For exposure to 500℃ during 1 hour, residual mechanical properties of the ultra-high strength concrete decreased as the s/a ratio decreases and the maximum size of coarse aggregate increases.

  • 본 연구에서는 2상계 스테인리스강의 모재,용접재 및 용접후 열처리재 3종류의 경우에 대하여 피로크랙 전파특성을 피로크랙의 하한계치 근방에서 금속조직적인 영향을 검토하기 위하여, 각 조건에 대한 피로크랙 전파속도의 하한 계치를 구하였고 피로식검후의 파단면을 주사전자현미경(SEM)으로 관찰하였다. 용접재에 대하여는 용착부 부근 용접열영향부의 입경측정, .alpha./.gamma.상의 체적비교율의 변화량 측정 및 용접재와 용접후열처리재의 잔유응력분포측정을 통하여 피로크랙의 하한계특성에 미치는 여러가지 영향인자에 대하여 검토하였다.

  • To investigate the effect of fatigue crack growth due to the surface residual stress, it is measured the residual stress distribution by x-ray diffraction at the crack tip each constant crack growth in the notch specimens, and quantitively assessed the effect of crack closure caused to the distribution of compressive stress at the crack tip from evaluating crack openning stress using the finite element analysis. It is concluded that the degree of the residual stress distribution at the crack tip is decreased with increasing the crack length. From the fact that it is similar to the crack openning stress ratio, it is found that the compressive residual stress distribution and size is related to the crack closure effect and surface residual stress field with propagating crack in the notch specimens depends on the stress intensity factor range at the crack tip.

종첩법에 의한 용접잔류응력장에서의 피로크랙전파거동의 고찰 (The study of fatigue crack propagation behavior in the welding residual stress field by superposition method)

  • This study investigates the crack propagation behavior to examine the effect of welding residual stress by the superposition method. Especially, as the crack propagation behavior is affected by the applied stress and the stress ratio in compressive residual stress filed, it is studied for three cases as follows; (1) $K_{min}$is smaller than l $K_{r}$l, (2) $K_{min}$ is smaller than l $K_{r}$l in the later stage, (3) $K_{min}$is lager than l $K_{r}$l. The resuslts show that the superposition method is very useful in all the three cases of compressive residual stress field, but is inappropriate in predicting the crack propagation behavior in tensile residual stress field.field.field.

비내진상세를 가지는 철근콘크리트 기둥의 정량적 손상도 평가 기준 (Quantitative Damage Index of RC Columns with Non-seismic Details)

  • 5층 이하 비내진상세를 가지는 철근콘크리트 건축물의 지진시 긴급 위험도 평가를 위한 부재의 정량적 손상도 평가 기준을 제시하기 위하여 실대형 크기의 철근콘크리트 1층 1경간 골조 실험체의 정적실험을 실시하였다. 실험결과, 실험체는 기둥의 휨항복후 전단파괴에 의하여 파괴되었으며, 기둥과 접합부에 균열, 압괴 등의 손상이 발생한 반면, 보에는 균열 등의 손상이 거의 발생하지 않았다. 이와 같이 비내진상세를 가지며 휨항복후 전단파괴하는 철근콘크리트 기둥의 손상도를 5단계로 분류하고 손상단계별 한계상태를 평가하기 위한 정량적 기준으로서 지진시 상대적으로 측정이 용이한 잔류 층간변형각과 잔류 균열폭을 이용하였다. 손상한계상태의 잔류 층간변형각 및 잔류 균열폭은 실험결과에 따른 손상한계상태의 최대 층간변형각과의 관계에 의하여 결정하였으며, 한계 최대 층간변형각은 실험결과에 의한 부재의 하중-변형 관계 및 손상발생 현황을 바탕으로 결정하였다. 한계 잔류 층간변형각은 해당 최대 층간변형각에 의한 잔류 층간변형각 중의 최대값 이상이 되도록 하였으며, 한계 잔류 균열폭은 해당 최대 층간변형각에 의한 잔류 전단균열폭의 최소값 및 잔류 휨균열폭의 평균값으로 결정하였다. 한편, 본 논문을 통하여 제시한 손상한계상태의 잔류 층간변형각과 잔류 균열폭은 지진으로 동일한 부재 변형이 발생할 경우 내진설계가 실시된 부재를 대상으로 하는 국외 손상도 평가 기준에 의한 값보다 작은 것으로 나타났다.

  • Rencentely, the request for the light weight is more incresed in the area of industrial environment and machinery and consistent effort is needed to accomplish high strength of material for the direction of light weight. we got the following characteristic from crack growth test carried out in the range of stress ration of 0.1, 0.3 and 0.6 by means of opening mode displacement. At the content stress ratio, the threshold stress intensity factor crack range ${\Delta}K_{th}$in the early stage of fatigue crack growth (Region I) and dtress intensity factor range ${\Delta}K$ in the stable of fatigue crack growth (Region II) with an increase in ${\Delta}K$. Fatigue life shows more improvement in the Shot-peened material than in the Un-peening material. And compressive residual stress of surface on the Shot peening processed operate resistance force of fatigue. So we can obtain fallowings. (1) The fatigue crack growth rate on stage II is conspicuous with the size of compressive residual stress and is depend on Paris equation. (2) Although the maxium compressive residual stress is deeply and widely formed from surface, fatigue life does not improve than when maxium compressive residual stress is formed in surface. (3) The threshold stress intensity factor range is increased with increasing compressive residual stress.

  • 본 연구에서는 버티칼 드레인으로 개량된 점성토 지반의 잔류침하 예측법을 제안하기 위하여 모델지반에 대해 탄-점성 압밀이론을 이용한 일련의 수치해석을 행하였다. 그리고 수치해석을 통하여 정규압밀영역에 대해 유효반경비, 압밀압력의 영향과 버티칼 드레인에 의한 3차원압밀에 있어서의 잔류침하를 감소시키기 위한 과압밀영역에서의 과압밀비의 영향을 조사하였다. 또한, 모델지반의 수치해석결과에 기초하여 버티칼 드레인 타설지반의 잔류침하 예측법과 잔류침하를 허용치 이내로 제어하기 위해 필요한 과압밀비의 결정법을 제안하였다.
