  • In this study we use three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic simulations of flux emergence from solar subsurface layer to corona. In order to study the twist parameter of magnetic field we compare the simulations for strongly twisted and weakly twisted cases. Based on the results, we derive a flux expansion factor of selected flux tubes which is a ratio of expanded cross section to the one measured at the footpoint of the flux tube. To understand the effect of flux expansion factor, we make a comparison between magnetic field configuration and the expansion factor. By using a fitting function of hyperbolic tangent we derive noticeable correlations among the strength of the vertical magnetic field, current density and expansion factor. We discuss what these results tell about the relationship between the twist of emerging field and the mechanism for the solar wind.

  • The present paper describes the slagging field data obtained with the one-dimensional process model for the 500 MW tangentially coal fired boiler in Korea. To obtain slagging field data in terms of thermal resistances [$m^2{\cdot}^{\circ}C/kW$], a number of plant data were collected and analyzed with the one-dimensional modelling software at 500 MW full load. The slagging field data for the primary superheater were obtained for six coal blends, and compared with two TMA (Thermo-Mechanical analyzer) slagging indices and the numerical slagging index, along with the conventional slagging indices which were modified with the ash loading. The advanced two TMA indices for six blended coals give a good slagging tendency when comparing them with the slagging field data, while the modified conventional slagging indices give a relatively poor agreement.

  • The effect of field annealing on the velocity changes of magneto surface acoustic wave (MSAW) devices has been investigated for deposited $(Fe_{1-x}Co_x)_{89}Zr_{11}$ (x = 0~1.0) amorphous films. By means of two step field annealing at $195^{\circ}C$ for 10 minute in the magnetic field of 130 Oe, the MSAW device with x=0.4 film among the devices showed the superior velocity change of 0.1 %. This gigantic value was obtained in the DC bias field of 40 Oe at the exciting frequency of 8.7 MHz. It was confirmed that such behavior was due to the variation of differential permeability caused by an optimal stress within the magnetic film.

  • This paper addresses the issue of field measurement of excavation damage zone (EDZ) and its numerical simulation method considering both excavation unloading and blasting load effects. Firstly, a 2000 m-deep rock cavern in China is focused. A detailed analysis is conducted on the field measurement data regarding the mechanical response of rock masses subjected to excavation and blasting operation. The extent of EDZ is revealed 3.6 m-4.0 m, accounting for 28.6% of the cavern span, so it is significantly larger than rock caverns at conventional overburden depth. The rock mass mechanical response subjected to excavation and blasting is time-independent. Afterwards, based on findings of the field measurement data, a numerical evaluation method for EDZ determination considering both excavation unloading and blasting load effects is presented. The basic idea and general procedures are illustrated. It features a calibration operation of damage constant, which is defined in an elasto-plastic damage constitutive model, and a regression process of blasting load using field blasting vibration monitoring data. The numerical simulation results are basically consistent with the field measurement results. Further, some issues regarding the blasting loads, applicability of proposed numerical method, and some other factors are discussed. In conclusion, the field measurement data collected from the 2000 m-deep rock cavern and the corresponding findings will broaden the understanding of tunnel behavior subjected to excavation and blasting at great depth. Meanwhile, the presented numerical simulation method for EDZ determination considering both excavation unloading and blasting load effects can be used to evaluate rock caverns with similar characteristics.

  • The new crown pneumonia (COVID-19) has become a global epidemic. The disease has spread to most countries and poses a challenge to the healthcare system. Contact tracing technology is an effective way for public health to deal with diseases. Many experts have studied traditional contact tracing and developed digital contact tracking. In order to better understand the field of contact tracking, it is necessary to analyze the development of contact tracking in the field of computer science by bibliometrics. The purpose of this research is to use literature statistics and topic analysis to characterize the research literature of contact tracking in the field of computer science, to gain an in-depth understanding of the literature development status of contact tracking and the trend of hot topics over the past decade. In order to achieve the aforementioned goals, we conducted a bibliometric study in this paper. The study uses data collected from the Scopus database. Which contains more than 10,000 articles, including more than 2,000 in the field of computer science. For popular trends, we use VOSviewer for visual analysis. The number of contact tracking documents published annually in the computer field is increasing. At present, there are 200 to 300 papers published in the field of computer science each year, and the number of uncited papers is relatively small. Through the visual analysis of the paper, we found that the hot topic of contact tracking has changed from the past "mathematical model," "biological model," and "algorithm" to the current "digital contact tracking," "privacy," and "mobile application" and other topics. Contact tracking is currently a hot research topic. By selecting the most cited papers, we can display high-quality literature in contact tracking and characterize the development trend of the entire field through topic analysis. This is useful for students and researchers new to field of contact tracking ai well as for presenting our results to other subjects. Especially when comprehensive research cannot be conducted due to time constraints or lack of precise research questions, our research analysis can provide value for it.

  • In this research magnetic field reduction effect of each passive loop was analyzed by using the scale down models of transmission lines. This paper examined magnetic field reduction effect of the passive loop that will be applied to actual facility through the experiment, which is about double vertical transmission line and horizontal transmission line. Consequently, by confirming the fact that magnetic field reduction effect can be obtained to 50 % by passive loop without reactive compensation, we insured technology about application of passive loop. And the case of 3 turns of loop showed two times reduction effect than that of 1 turns of loop in reducing magnetic field. Vertical passive loop is more efficient than horizontal passive loop in the aspect of reducing magnetic field on double vertical transmission lines. What is more, vertical passive loop showed good effect of reducing magnetic field in a far distance as well as in a short distance.

  • In this study, we extrapolate a nonlinear force-free field (NLFFF) from an observed photospheric magnetic field to understand the three-dimensional (3D) coronal magnetic field producing a huge solar flare. The purpose of this study is to develop a NLFFF extrapolation code based on the so-called MHD relaxation method and check how accurately our model reconstructs a coronal field. Furthermore, we apply it to the photospheric magnetic field obtained by Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager (HMI) on board Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) to reconstruct a 3D magnetic structure. We first investigate factors in controlling the accuracy of our NLFFF code by using a semi-analytical solution obtained by Low & Lou (1990). To extend a work done by Inoue et al. (2014), we apply various boundary conditions at the side and top boundaries in order to make our solution close to a realistic solution. As a consequence, our solution has a good accuracy when three components of a reference field are all fixed at the boundaries. Furthermore, it is also found that our solution is well matched to the Low & Lou solution in the central area of a simulation domain when the three components of a potential field are fixed at side and top boundaries (this approach is close to a realistic solution). Finally, we present the 3D coronal magnetic field producing an X 1.5-class flare in the active region 11166 through the extrapolation from SDO/HMI.

  • RI-Biomics field comes into the limelight as a new fusion radiation technology. These rapid development of RI-Biomics cause the necessity of establishment of a new methodical education program model for consistent training of professional manpower in RI-ADME, Biomics field. But domestic current status is not satisfied to training human resource development in RI-Biomics. Actually domestic educational organization related to RI-Biomics just run educational programs oriented basic theory, so practical and fusion education are not existed nowadays for preliminary RI-Biomics expert. Therefore we established a new education program model for educate of the expert in RI-Biomics field to overcome current problem about the route of knowledge that has more monotonous and concentrated tendency and non-professional education. To improve universality and practicality, we conduct education-training model survey about domestic and foreign country. This new human resource development model will contribute to fostering new expert in RI-Biomics field.

  • Corona discharges form at the surface of a transmission line conductor when the electric-field intensity on the conductor surface exceeds the breakdown strength of air. In order to decrease the electric-field intensity on the conductor surface, a new 6 conductor bundle has been studied. This bundle, hybrid conductor bundle, consists of using a larger subconductor at the bottom two conductor positions in the 6-conductor bundles of each phase of the line. The electric field on these two larger subconductors is reduced which in turn reduces the corona noise. It is shown that this is a better solution for decreasing the electric-field intensity than ether the conventional bundle or the asymmetric bundle proposed by EPRI.

  • We have developed a high-field and high-frequency ESR system using a commercially available magnetometer equipped with the superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID). This is magnetization detection type ESR and ESR is observed as a change of the magnetization at the resonance condition under irradiation of the electromagnetic wave. The frequency range is from 70 to 315 GHz and the maximum magnetic field is 5 T. The sensitivity is estimated to be $10^{13}$ spins/G. The advantage of this system is that the high-field ESR measurements can be made very easily and quantitatively. Moreover, this high-field ESR can be applied to the measurements under pressure by using a widely used piston-cylinder pressure cell.
