Trend of Photo-Electrochemical Hydrogen Production Technology (광전기화학적 수소제조 기술 동향분석)

  • Hydrogen is clean and renewable, and recognized as a very promising energy resource to solve both depletion of petroleum and environmental problems caused by the use of fossil fuels. Extensive researches have been performed worldwide on the production technologies of hydrogen. In this paper, the technology trend of photo-electrochemical (PEC) hydrogen production was scrutinized based on the patent and paper analysis. Open/registered patents of US, JP, EP, and KR and SCI Journals related to the PEC hydrogen production technology between 1996~2010 were reviewed. Patents and papers were gathered by using the key-words searching method and filtered by desirable filtering criteria. The technology trend was discussed by classifying each patent and paper based on the publishing year, country, and organization, and analyzing the core patents and papers.

Research Trend Analysis by using Text-Mining Techniques on the Convergence Studies of AI and Healthcare Technologies (텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용한 인공지능과 헬스케어 융·복합 분야 연구동향 분석)

  • The goal of this study is to review the major research trend on the convergence studies of AI and healthcare technologies. For the study, 15,260 English articles on AI and healthcare related topics were collected from Scopus for 55 years from 1963, and text mining techniques were conducted. As a result, seven key research topics were defined : "AI for Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS)", "AI for Medical Image", "Internet of Healthcare Things (IoHT)", "Big Data Analytics in Healthcare", "Medical Robotics", "Blockchain in Healthcare", and "Evidence Based Medicine (EBM)". The result of this study can be utilized to set up and develop the appropriate healthcare R&D strategies for the researchers and government. In this study, text mining techniques such as Text Analysis, Frequency Analysis, Topic Modeling on LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation), Word Cloud, and Ego Network Analysis were conducted.

Topic Modeling Analysis of Franchise Research Trends Using LDA Algorithm (LDA 알고리즘을 이용한 프랜차이즈 연구 동향에 대한 토픽모델링 분석)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to derive clues for the franchise industry to overcome difficulties such as various legal regulations and social responsibility demands and to continuously develop by analyzing the research trends related to franchises published in Korea. Research design, data and methodology: As a result of searching for 'franchise' in ScienceON, abstracts were collected from papers published in domestic academic journals from 1994 to June 2021. Keywords were extracted from the abstracts of 1,110 valid papers, and after preprocessing, keyword analysis, TF-IDF analysis, and topic modeling using LDA algorithm, along with trend analysis of the top 20 words in TF-IDF by year group was carried out using the R-package. Results: As a result of keyword analysis, it was found that businesses and brands were the subjects of research related to franchises, and interest in service and satisfaction was considerable, and food and coffee were prominently studied as industries. As a result of TF-IDF calculation, it was found that brand, satisfaction, franchisor, and coffee were ranked at the top. As a result of LDA-based topic modeling, a total of 12 topics including "growth strategy" were derived and visualized with LDAvis. On the other hand, the areas of Topic 1 (growth strategy) and Topic 9 (organizational culture), Topic 4 (consumption experience) and Topic 6 (contribution and loyalty), Topic 7 (brand image) and Topic 10 (commercial area) overlap significantly. Finally, the trend analysis results for the top 20 keywords with high TF-IDF showed that 10 keywords such as quality, brand, food, and trust would be more utilized overall. Conclusions: Through the results of this study, the direction of interest in the franchise industry was confirmed, and it was found that it was necessary to find a clue for continuous growth through research in more diverse fields. And it was also considered an important finding to suggest a technique that can supplement the problems of topic trend analysis. Therefore, the results of this study show that researchers will gain significant insights from the perspectives related to the selection of research topics, and practitioners from the perspectives related to future franchise changes.

  • The ultimate purpose of this study is to propose a method to improve water supply management efficiency which is one of the two main approaches to solve the water supply-related problems. As an effort, targeting commercial water, a series of efforts was performed such as choosing a field area, selecting a sensing point, installing a sensor and server systems, and monitoring the real time data. Through the analyses of the real time data gathered, a series of water consumption trend analysis models were developed for each day and for each month. And Also proposed are the related utilization of the developed trend analysis models and a GIS. As a result of the aforementioned research, the proposed trend analysis technique is expected to offer some important role for the water supply forecasting agministation and management.

  • As Korea fully entered the fashion industry in the early 1980s, the casual lifestyle trend has led the casual trend of fashion, and segmentation and specialization of the casual wear market began from the early 1990s. As of 2003, which is twelfth year after On & On's launch in 1992, this brand has succeeded in advancing into the Chinese market and has also arisen as a successful brand in the domestic market. The present research was carried out by consulting on the proposal of the marketing strategies for On & On. Firstly, in 1994 the marketing research for the consumers visiting the shop was carried out. A second investigation was conducted on the basis of the first analysis in 2003, ten after the first investigation. This research was performed to propose the future marketing strategies for On & On through an analysis of the changes of On & On consumer's purchase. This research established marketing strategies for the young casual brand.

Effect of Importance of Selection Attributes on Satisfaction and Repurchase of Nostalgic Desserts among 20's

  • Purpose: This research aimed at understanding the dynamics of consumer behavior in the context of nostalgic desserts. The primary objective is to scrutinize how different attributes like quality, health, convenience, and trend influence customer satisfaction and their subsequent decision to repurchase nostalgic desserts. Research Method: The study leverages structural equation modeling, incorporating statistical tools such as SPSS and AMOS for a thorough analysis. It involves collecting data over a specified period, followed by correlation and trend analyses to deduce patterns and relationships. Results: The findings reveal that attributes such as quality, health, convenience, and trend significantly impact customer satisfaction and repurchase intentions. Interestingly, economic factors appeared to have a negligible effect on these decisions. The study offers a comprehensive understanding of the factors that influence consumer decisions in the context of nostalgic desserts, providing valuable implications for both academic research and practical marketing strategies. Conclusions: The insights garnered from this research are pivotal for formulating marketing strategies for nostalgic dessert brands. It underscores the importance of accentuating quality, health, and trend in product offerings to boost customer satisfaction and encourage repurchases. The study also sheds light on the evolving nature of consumer preferences and the integral role of nostalgia in shaping purchasing behaviors.

  • Objective: The objective of this study was to define the Dynamic Sitting (DS) through trend analysis and research on the Dynamic Chair (DC) and applied technologies. Background: The effects of changing posture on the human body have been studied to find out healthy sitting postures. It is believed that changing posture is effective in reducing disc pressure on spinal cord and preventing back pain and musculoskeletal disease. But, the definition of DS and trends of DC have not been researched yet. Therefore, trend analysis of DC and its applied technologies are required to define dynamic sitting posture. Method: We researched the type of occupant postures from previous studies. And then, sitting behaviors were classified into three types; (1) sitting and standing, (2) working and studying, (3) taking a rest. Results: Variety shapes of DC and applied technologies were found out. From the result, the trend of DC and applied technology were summarized from three perspectives. ; (1) changing the chair functions according to user's intention, (2) conversion of dynamic chair technologies to office chair mechanism, (3) enables the user to change their sitting posture without operating control device. Conclusion: From this study, we defined dynamic sitting posture and analyzed the trend of DC and its applied technologies. This result might be used to develop an office chair for healthy sitting. But further investigation is required to figure out the technologies and functions for development of healthy chair. Application: The results of the publishing trend analysis might help to determine design concept of office chair.

Design of Models for the Korean Traditional Medicine Research Trend Analysis System (한의학 연구동향 분석시스템 구현을 위한 모형개발)

  • The researchers and planners are using patent/paper map system to analyze the research trend, but we can't use the existing analysis system because of the specialty of korean traditional medicine. Thus we deduced the analysis models from preceding research and system and designed 14 analysis models which are composed of basic, detail and complex models. We verified the analysis models using papers which has 'meridian' keyword among 16,000 papers stored in OASIS. From the analysis result, we know that the meridian study has just entered in the maturity and is closely related with other parts of korean traditional medicine as physiology etc. And we verified the proposed analysis model from the comparison with the analysis models of preceding systems. The analysis model will be used for the development of Korean traditional medicine paper map analysis service scenario and system.

A Study on Research Trend in Field of Busan Port by Social Network Analysis (SNA를 활용한 부산항 연구동향 분석에 관한 연구)

  • This study aimed to identify its research trends using social network analysis(SNA). The results of the analysis showed that, for degree centrality, Busan Port(0.223) was the keyword that had the highest centrality, followed by DEA(0.060), AHP(0.056), and container terminal and port competitiveness(0.049). Busan Port(0.245) also had the highest betweenness centrality, followed by DEA(0.048), container terminal(0.044), AHP(0.039), and Busan New Port(0.032). The trend analysis inferred that efficiency analysis(DEA), strategy selection, and competition analysis(AHP) were the keywords with a high centrality for Busan Port to gain a competitive edge with global ports. However, research on the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is emerging as a key issue, was insufficient. In the future, research using social data, such as mass media and social networks, is necessary.

Keyword networks in RJCC research - A co-word analysis and clustering - (RJCC 연구 키워드 네트워크 - 동시출현단어분석과 군집분석 -)

  • A trend analysis of research articles in a field of knowledge is significant because it can help in finding out the structural characteristics of the field and the future direction of research through observing change in a time series. We identified the structural characteristics and trends in text data (keywords) gathered from research articles which in itself is an important task in various research areas. The titles and keywords were crawled from research articles published from 2016 to 2018 in the Research Journal of the Costume Culture (RJCC), one of the representative Korean journal in the field of clothing and textile. After we extracted data comprising English titles and keywords from 195 published articles, we transformed it into a 1-mode matrix. We used measures from network analysis (i.e., link, strength, and degree centrality) for evaluating meaningful patterns and trends in the research on clothing and textile. NodeXL was used for visualizing the semantic network. This study observed change in the clothing and textile research trend. In addition to covering the core areas of the field, the subjects of research have been diversifying with every passing year and have evolved onto a developmental direction. The most studied area in articles published by the RJCC was fashion retailing/consumer psychology while aesthetic/historic and fashion industry/policy studies were covered to a more limited extent. We observed that most of the studies reflecting the identity of RJCC share subject keywords to a significant extent.
