교육과 관련된 이슈는 다양한 집단과 상황이 서로 복잡하게 연계된 사회문제로 교육과 관련된 현상을 분석하여 이슈와 문제를 구체적으로 발견하는 것은 쉽지 않은 일이다. 한국어 기반 텍스트 분석은 정량적인 형태로 분석이 가능하고, 텍스트 분석기법의 발전에 따라 연구적인 성과를 내고 있어 교육과 관련된 이슈를 한국어 텍스트로 된 데이터에서 도출하는데 충분히 활용할 수 있다. 본 연구는 청와대 국민청원 홈페이지 게시판의 육아/교육 분야의 청원글을 수집하고 텍스트 분석방법을 활용하여 교육계의 이슈와 문제를 도출하고자 하였다. 분석은 토픽 모델링 기법 중 잠재 디리클레 할당(LDA)을 통해 6개 토픽을 도출하였고, 주요 키워드의 연관규칙을 분석하여 그래프로 시각화하였다. 기존의 설문을 통한 교육의 이슈를 도출하는 방법 이외에 추가로 텍스트 기반의 분석방법을 통해 이슈를 충분히 발견할 수 있다는 점에서 향후 연구의 방향과 정책에 시사점을 제공할 수 있다.

이 연구의 목적은 국제 STEM 교육 분야의 연구 결과를 종합하여 국제 STEM 교육의 주요 이슈를 파악하는 데 있다. 이 연구의 분석 대상 자료는 선정 기준과 전문가 그룹의 검토를 통해 다양한 STEM 교육의 이슈를 반영하고 있는 메타분석 또는 체계적 문헌연구의 결과이다. 총 23개의 연구를 대상으로 질적 메타 분석을 하여 다음과 같은 STEM 교육의 이슈를 선정하였다. 첫째, STEM 교육은 국제적인 교육 동향으로 미국, 캐나다, 호주, 한국, 터키 등 많은 국가에서 연구되고 있다. 둘째, STEM 교육은 학생들의 인지적, 정의적, 심동적, 그리고 진로 영역의 향상에 긍정적으로 기여하고 있다. 셋째, STEM 교육은 다양한 수업 도구와 기술의 사용과 함께 연구되어 왔다. 또한, STEM 교육에 대한 교사의 전문성 신장이 성공적인 STEM 교육의 실현의 주요 요인들 중 하나이다. 그 외에 STEM 교육의 성공적인 실천을 위해 다양성, 평등, 타당하고 신뢰로운 연구 설계 등의 이슈에 대해 논의하였다. 또한 이 연구는 우리나라 융합교육의 방향과 실천 전략을 위한 함의점을 제공할 수 있으며 향후 연구에 대한 제언을 줄 수 있다.

Simulation is one of the most widely used techniques in operations research and management science, but there are several impediments to even wider acceptance and use of simulation. One of the more significant limitations is the dependence of simulation on statistical methodology. This research identifies eighteen different statistical issues in simulation methodology and develops an expert system which could through interactive dialog with simulation analysts offer advice on statistical approaches which might be used to deal with particular issues and to accomplish required statistical computations. This research revises the previous study published in Simulation by incorporating additional statistical issues in the expert system to enhance its performance in analyzing a given simulation problem with statistical methodologies. An overview of the revised system is given and illustrations of the capabilities of the system are presented.

There have been lots of research on temporal data management for the past two decades. Most of them are based on some logical data model, especially on the relational data model, although there are some conceptual data models which are independent of logical data models. Also, many properties or issues regarding temporal data models and temporal query languages have been studied. But some of them were shown to be incompatible, which means there could not be a complete temporal data model, satisfying all the desired properties at the same time. Many modeling issues discussed in the papers, do not have to be done so, if they take object-oriented data model as a base model. Therefore, this paper proposes a temporal data model, which is based on the object-oriented data model, mainly discussing the most essential issues that are common to many temporal data models. Our new temporal data model and query language will be illustrated with a small database, created by a set of sample transaction.

Purpose - This study reviews the past studies that have researched Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) as a well-known supply chain collaboration program. The main goals of this study are to figure out how VMI brings significant benefits to the supply chain system and suggest additional areas that future studies would address to discover the true nature of VMI. Research design, data, methodology - This study conducts literature reviews on numerous studies that have researched VMI. The past studies are classified in terms of several main issues that have been commonly addressed by many researchers. This study also identifies three key collaborative features of VMI, which possibly explain why VMI improves the supply chain performance. Results - This study finds out that most past studies focused on a limited research issues about VMI. Many researchers have considered integrated decision making and information sharing to be key features that enables VMI to improve the supply chain performance. Conclusions - Based on the findings from the literature review, this study suggests that future studies on VMI take account of new research issues and pay attention to cost payment that researchers have rarely addressed.

Purpose: This study is designed to investigate the extent and nature of climate change disclosure of listed pharmaceutical companies of Bangladesh. Research design, data and methodology: In order to perform this research, a content analysis methodology is used. A climate change disclosure index is constructed to examine 12 different climate change disclosure issues. Information is collected from the annual reports of 29 pharmaceutical companies listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange for the year 2019. Results: This study finds that only 48.28% of the sample companies provided disclosure on at least one issue regarding climate change. 'Energy savings' is the mostly disclosed issue whereas 'Pollution control expenditure', 'Biodiversity conservation initiatives' are the least disclosed issues. Research implication: This study concludes 64.29% of the companies examined, use less than five sentences for climate change disclosure, which depicts unsatisfactory disclosure practices regarding climate change issues. Study findings would be helpful for different industries of Bangladesh to implement efficient climate change reporting Practice. Future studies can be conducted on other industries to obtain more comprehensive result.

Recently, statistical analysis tools have been changed to the applications on the World Wide Web that access data stored in databases. On-line analytical processing(OLAP) is a class of technologies that give users statistical information with multidimensional views of data in databases. In this paper, we introduce the concept and requisites of OLAP system, and we propose some research issues.

Country of origin is very important in terms of consumers right to know, protection of producer, national finance and tariff preference etc. The principal issues related to country of origin are breaches of origin mark, determination of origin of OEM products, domestic products using imported raw materials, exports products, and fairness of penalties. This study focus origin mark issues on key components and set products which have not been treated so far. First, Origin mark issues on key components need to introduce multiple countries of origin for the same products. Some specific products, which are considered important key components or materials, has to mark multiple country of origin in terms of portion and significance. Next, Origin mark issues on set products need to expand the objects from 15 listed items of Korea Foreign Trade Act to all items of HS tariff schedules of Korea Customs Act. A set products which below 15% of components can mark single country of origin like FTA agreement such as Korea-EU FTA, Korea-EFTA, Korea-US FTA and Korea-Peru FTA.

인터넷 트래픽의 급증으로 네트워크를 제공하는 사업자인 ISP에게는 망투자비용의 회수가 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 망투자 비용의 회수와 관련해서는 인터넷망 중립성 논란과 관련하여 ISP와 CP간 사업자간 첨예하게 대립되고 있다. 따라서 ISP와 CP간 망대가 산정을 인터넷망간 상호접속관점에서 이 문제를 분석할 필요가 있다. 또한 인터넷망 접속과 관련하여 기존 인터넷망 사업자간에도 인터넷망 상호접속제도에 대한 개선마련이 중요해지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 예상되는 주요 이슈들을 정리하고 각 이슈에 대해 현재의 현황과 문제점들을 중심으로 향후 개선방안을 제시할 것이다. 이를 위해 인터넷 상호접속 규제관련 국내 법제도 현황과 해외동향을 살펴보고 개선방안 마련에 필요한 시사점을 도출한다.

중앙정부나 지방자치단체들은 도서관계의 의사와는 달리 어떤 계획을 실행하는 수가 많다. 공공도서관 명칭변경, 민간위탁 운영, 도서관 정책담당 부서의 폐지 등이 그러한 사례라고 할 수 있다. 그러한 시점을 우리는 위기상황이라고 판단하고 그 대처방안으로 성명서, 건의서 또는 공한을 발표하거나 관련기관에 전달하고 있다. 우리가 발표하는 항의문에는 어떤 논리로 그것에 대한 부당성을 지적하고 있는지를 검토한다. 정부기관은 어떤 계기로 도서관계의 염원과는 거리가 먼 도서관 발전 저해행위를 하는지도 검토한다. 그리고 도서관계는 위기상황에 대처하기 위하여 어떤 논의가 있는지도 알아본다. 연구자들의 연구주제나 도서관계 여러 조직단체들의 활동은 위기상황에 대하여 어떤 대응을 하고 있는지도 살펴보는 것이다.
