The importance of conducting necessary studies on grid reliability evaluation has become increasingly important in recent years due to the number of blackout events occurring throughout the world. Additionally, quantitative evaluation of transmission system reliability is very important in a competitive electricity environment. The reason behind this is that successful operation of an electric power company under a deregulated electricity market depends on transmission system reliability management. The results of many case studies for the Korea Electric Power Cooperation (KEPCO) system using the Transmission Reliability Evaluation for Large-Scale Systems (TRELSS) Version 6.2 are illustrated in this paper. The TRELSS was developed by EPRI and Southern Company Services Inc. This paper presents the reliability analysis of KEPCO system expansion planning by using the TRELSS program.

The electrically excited synchronous generator (EESG) is applied in wind turbine systems recently. In an EESG control system, electrical torque is affected by stator flux and rotor current. So the control system is more complicated than that of the permanent-magnet synchronous generator (PMSG). Thus, the higher demanding of the control system is required especially in case of wind turbine mechanical resonance. In this paper, the mechanism of rotor speed resonant phenomenon is introduced from the viewpoint of mechanics firstly, and the characteristics of an effective damping torque are illustrated through system eigenvalues analysis. Considering the variables are tightly coupled, the four-order small signal equation for torque is derived considering stator and rotor control systems with regulators, and the bode plot of the closed loop transfer function is analyzed. According to the four-order mathematical equation, the stator flux, stator current, and electrical torque responses are derived by torque reference step and ramp in MATLAB from a pure mathematical deduction, which is identical with the responses in PSCAD/EMTDC simulation results. At last, the simulation studies are carried out in PSCAD software package to verify the resonant damping control strategy used in the EESG wind turbine system.

Pyro project, one of complex project, is now under research and development. To manage this kind project successfully, it is essential to apply the processes of technical management (TM) based on systems engineering (SE) and project management (PM). In this paper, the project management processes from ISO-21500 standard, PMBOK guide, and PRINCE2 guide were reviewed, and then some common PM for the large national R&D project were selected. An integrated technical management and project management frame work was finally established and suggested for Pyro project.

Based on the analysis of the functions of ship management company, this paper aims to explore how to build the platform to transmit anti process the information about ships by means of modern information management so as to solve a series of problems caused by blockages in information transmitting in present ship’s management. The paper also talks about the necessity of establishing various resource bases and using different information communicating methods to realize the resource sharing and intellectualization of ship’s business.

This study was analyzed and researched into each gradual properties of housing owner's decision making, for preservation of traditional scenery and search for the way its succession, on the basis of search of the rural area housing owner and the virtual research data. As a result of this study, public company should care and advertise significance of traditional scenery succession to housing owners and architectural planning offices, because the model what public company has been developed and distributed should not be ignored influence on the process of housing owner's decision making.

S-Distribution Center supplies parts to three plants of K-automobile manufacturing company. Since the three plants employ the JIT production system, it is important for S-Distribution Center to deliver small quantities of parts frequently and quickly on time. This paper presents a case study on the improvement of order-picking operation in S-Distribution Center. The study is focused on the reductions of move time and waiting time by redesigning the parts storage location, picking-order terminal location, retrieval policy, and equipment operation policy. The proposed operation system for S-Distribution Center is evaluated through a simple computation analysis and computer simulation. Furthermore, the reducible numbers of equipment and order pickers are investigated by performing a sensitivity analysis.

This study is a relatively small scale compared to the massive construction company, construction company's safety management level of the low. A small architectural scene safety management is a necessity for basic research as a whole and of 67.20% died in the disaster, which killed the disaster scene in a small building. Small construction site for a reflections of the prevailing security situation, the existing literature and statistical data to determine what the issue, for the purpose of the proposal and come up with improvement measures.
