Monitoring and Checking Concurrent Java Programs with HDTL (HDTL을 이용한 병렬 자바 프로그램의 모니터 링과 검사)

  • There have been many researches about monitoring and checking the implementations during run-time using formal requirement specification. They usually adopt temporal logics or their extensions to specify the requirements for the implementations. However, most of the systems fail to support the specification of requirements fir dynamic systems - systems whore components are created and removed during run-time. Unlike analysis or design models, most actual implementations are dynamic, so the notion of instances should be employed in the property specification language. In this paper, we show how we can monitor and check Java programs using our temporal logic for dynamic systems (HDTL). We suggest a framework in which the execution of Java programs are monitored and chocked against given HDTL requirements.

  • According to increase of concerning in health and entry of aging society, sensor-based smart clothing has developed various type and applications. Sensor-based smart clothing should be designed with considering of the interaction between a human body-device-clothing, such as accuracy of signal, wearability, suitability and the configuration of the sensor and so on. In this respect, these characteristics distinguish sensor-based smart clothing process from clothing process and Sensor-based smart clothing process is expected to be needing requirements Specification for development purpose and interoperability assessment based on requirements engineering. In this study, to assess efficiency of process based on requirement engineering, the sensor-based smart clothing process was deducted in two types by analysis of empirical performance. Presented two process were empirically evaluated through qualitative and quantitative evaluation. As a result, design process II based on requiments engineering were confirmed more effective process than processI.

  • As a railway is receiving attention as an environment-friendly transportation mode, many high speed, inter-city and urban railway are constructed and remodeled in the world. With this trend, railway RAMS was included in the international standard IEC 62278 in 2002. RAMS activity in domestic market is also increased with this international trend. However, IEC 62278 does not describe the methodology of substantial contents like how reliability target is set although it can be used as an overall guideline when RAMS requirements are included in the purchase specification. That is because RAMS requirements should be set with the specific railway condition. It is required to fully understand the meaning of railway RAMS parameters and apply those correspond to the specific railway system and environment condition especially when a quantitative RAMS requirement is set. In this study, the meaning and characteristics of RAMS parameters applicable to the development of quantitative RAMS requirement of rolling stock is described. And the basic concept of RAMS and the definition of failure that IEC 62278 describes is modified and suggested in order to make more suitable to the development of quantitative RAMS requirement.

  • According to distributed, large-caled environment of software development and operation, the elicitation and specivication of correct and complete requrement is the most important factor for the system. In addition contiuous and dramatic systerm canging requests in cooperative environment with internet require more efficient, requirement management. In this paper we detine the specification architecture and techruques for requrements, so that we improve the efficiency ofnatural language-based requirement speciticationand management in a cooperatie work environment. Also, we propose a software requirement engineering process model and environment based on requirements in a CSC@(Computer Supported Cjooperative Work) environment, therefore transfer them into analysis phase.

  • The train control system is a facility to ensure safe train operation, and its safety is the most important factor for system introduction. Therefore, in order to improve practical usability in the business, safety analysis and evaluation of train control system and train control related core technologies are needed. Korea Railroad Research Institute has carried out standard development of radio-based train control system as a government research and development project. In this paper, we present a system specification of ATP, a core part of train control system, for standard system of Korean radio-based train control system(KRTCS). The paper present a operation environment and primary ATP functions, and functional requirement specifications.

  • To guarantee safety and reliability, RAMS(Reliability Availability Maintainability and Safety) activity for a communication software in train communication network is studied. In this paper, preliminary hazard analysis in RAMS activities is studied for the communication software. Preliminary hazard analysis is done through library for communication software that the specification is defined by IEC 61375. The hazards are defined, then causes and consequence for each hazard are defined. The total 36 preliminary hazards are classified. For high severity hazards are changed to acceptable level by upgrading of system requirement specification.

  • The mission of tilting train development project is enhancing the speed of transportation of railway passenger using existing infrastructure. The threat of this project is the tilting technology is newly incorporated to this project. To overcome the threat this project incorporate systems engineering technology to development tilting train system. The systems engineering process, which was used in this project, was performed in accordance with systems engineering standard EIA632. This paper shows the systems engineering technology which was used to develop the tilting train system specification. This paper also shows the requirement template which was developed to communicate and synthesis various specialty engineering.

  • This study focuses on applying performance-based design to construction standard in building construction. First, it realizes situation and issues of standard specification in building construction, deduces the need factors for establishing performance-based construction standard, and then, it proposes the application of performance standard. The required stages for deducing performance-based construction standard consist of dividing building parts, deducing required functions, performance items and performance requirement and deciding a method of performance evaluation. Through these stages, performance-based design process is deduced.

  • The standardization urban transit project has been started by government and the Korean standard electrical railcar has been designed. The bodyshell of standard railcar is made of aluminium alloy. In the present paper, the design of its bodyshell is evaluated in the viewpoint of strength analysis. The loading condition is based on the 'Test Methods of Static Load for Body Structure of Electrical Multiple Unit', standard specification. The bodyshell of Korean standard EMU consist of longitudinal extrusion members which are double-skin structure type. The result in this paper is enough to satisfy strength requirement which is provided by standard specification. The comparison between actual experiment and analysis result will be presented in the next paper.
