  • Today's highly competitive construction scenario forces all the major players in the field to take up multiple projects which have put an undue pressure on the resources available within the organization. Under such a situation, there are many instances where in the resource requirement exceeds its availability due to multiple activities (with same resource requirement) which are scheduled to start simultaneously and thus results in the constrained resource becoming a bottleneck of the project. As a consequence of sharing resources, this paper studies the impact on the completion date of two similar projects under two different conditions, the first one resulting in a postponed end date and the second without any postponement. The resource utilization, the possibility of substitution of a resource and its subsequent impact on the deadline of the project is analyzed under these two circumstances. The study is done on a Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) platform instead of leaving the schedule with a traditional Critical Path Method (CPM) finish, which gives an added advantage of validating the robustness of the emerging CCPM trend in the field of resource management.

  • Recently, the electronic control unit (ECU) has been integrating several functions into one beyond simple convenience functions. Accordingly, ECUs have more functions and external interfaces than before, and various cybersecurity problems are arising. The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29) issued UN Regulation No.155 to establish international standards for vehicle cybersecurity management systems in light of the growing threats to vehicle cybersecurity. According to international standards, vehicle manufacturers are required to establish a Cybersecurity Management System (CSMS) and receive a Vehicle Type Approval (VTA). However, opinions were raised that the implementation period should be adjusted because domestic preparations for this are insufficient. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a web-based solution that maps a checklist to check the status of CSMS in the requirement and various vehicle security companies and solutions to mitigate the identified gap.

  • This paper proposes a optimal process after analyzing the existing papers of software requirements engineering process. In analyzing it examines requirement pursuit management and origin, and considers a variety of starting points that draw requirement documents. Also, this paper considers carefully the multiple methods of stakeholder needs, problem analysis, processing priority of business modeling. From the analyzed result this paper proposes the best method that draws systematically the requirement documents. The proposed method can minimize the requirement changes, draw the higher project success ratio, and satisfy the customer.

  • According to distributed, large-caled environment of software development and operation, the elicitation and specivication of correct and complete requrement is the most important factor for the system. In addition contiuous and dramatic systerm canging requests in cooperative environment with internet require more efficient, requirement management. In this paper we detine the specification architecture and techruques for requrements, so that we improve the efficiency ofnatural language-based requirement speciticationand management in a cooperatie work environment. Also, we propose a software requirement engineering process model and environment based on requirements in a CSC@(Computer Supported Cjooperative Work) environment, therefore transfer them into analysis phase.

  • Requirements management is one of the most essential activities of systems engineering in developing successful weapon systems. Particularly it is very important to consistently manage the traceability among the user requirements, the system requirements, the development specifications and the testing plans throughout the entire life cycle of the weapon system. However, the most part of requirements-related activities has centered around the functional and performance requirements but the integrated logistics support(ILS) requirement has not properly been managed. In this regard, a special attention is needed to develop and manage the ILS requirements. To do so, the ANSI/EIA-632 standard can be referred as a starting point since the ILS requirements of the weapon system under development are specified by the enabling products whereas the functional and performance requirements are covered by the end product requirements. Specifically, we first review and model several cases of previous weapon systems development, which reveals the problem of interest. Then, under the framework of ANSI/EIA-632, we study a hierarchical model for effectively managing ILS requirements by analyzing the features of ILS requirements. Finally, the value of the proposed model is discussed through the case study of electronic warfare equipment.

  • The essential factor for house cultivation is water management. Water requirement of crop is the most important for the water management. The water requirement of crop is different according to the area as well as climate condition and growth stage. However, the measurement of PET (Potential Evapo-Transpiration) and crop coefficient (Kc) is very difficult especially in house cultivation. Therefore, the PET and Kc of red pepper are estimated based on the lysimeter experiments carried out by the RDA for 11 years about the ratio of house cultivation to wild cultivation. Periodic PET, mean water requirement (MWR) and accumulated water requirement (AWR) of red pepper cultivated in house are evaluated.

  • Among the nutrients in feed, amino acids and minerals are important for the growth and development of pets. In particular, interest in nutritional components related to the health of pets is increasing as pet-raising households and pet food markets have recently grown. Therefore, in this study, 55 pet food products distributed in South Korea were purchased, and the content of 3 essential and conditionally essential amino acids (taurine, lysine, arginine) and 4 minerals (Ca, P, Na, K) was investigated. Among the three amino acids, arginine was found to have the highest content, and the average content was 1.79 and 1.37 % in cat and dog foods, respectively. On the other hand, the taurine content was the lowest, but it was found to be higher than the minimum requirement of 0.10 % for cats set by the American Association for Feed Control (AAFCO) and the European Federation of Pet Food Industries (FEDIAF). As a result of the four-component analysis of minerals, the content of Ca was found to be the highest, and the average content was confirmed to be 1.64 and 1.25 % in cat and dog food, respectively. On the other hand, Na was the lowest, but it was higher than the AAFCO minimum requirement and FEDIAF minimum requirement for young cat and dog food. Among all 55 samples examined, the content of the three amino acids and the four inorganic components was confirmed to be suitable for the recommended minimum intake and maximum allowable intake presented by AAFCO and FEDIAF.
