수확 전 염화칼슘 및 알카리환원수 처리가 느타리버섯 저장에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Preharvest Treatment of $CaCl_2$ and Alkaline-Reduced Water on the Quality of Oyster Mushroom during Storage)

  • This experiment was focused to determine the effect of preharvest treatment of alkaine-reduced water (ARW) and $CaCl_2$ on the storage of oyster mushroom. ARW was prepared through electrolysis of water with $CaCl_2$ (0.1%) as salts and $CaCl_2$ (0.1%) was dissolved in deionized water. Mushrooms were harvested after two sprays of each solutions and quality factors including firmness and browning was determined during storage. The severity of browning was more greater when stored 20 days. Unlike $CaCl_2$, ARW containing 139 ug/L calcium was positive on maintaining freshness in terms of delay of firmness loss and respiration drop, keeping soluble carbohydrate content such as trehalose, and inhibiting the occurrence of browning. Browning, however, seemed to be more influenced by the developmental stage of mushroom at harvest. Even no significant difference was found, the level of ${\beta}$-glucan was low in ARW treatment compared to that of control. Further research including application and preparation methods of ARW is required to clarify the potential of ARW on keeping freshness of oyster mushroom through inhibiting tissue browning.

한국잔디종자의 발아촉진을 위한 Sodium Hypochlorite와 Potassium Hydroxide 처리효과의 비교 (Comparison of Sodium Hypochiorite and Potassium Hydroxide as Seed Treatment for Stimulating Germination of Korean Lawngrass (Zoysia japonica Steud.) Seed)

  • Research was conducted to obtain easy and secure methods for promoting germination of Korean lawngrass (Zoysia japonic a Steud.) seed. The effect of sodium hypochiorite (NaOCl) treatment on germination of seeds was compared with that of potassium hydroxide (KOH) treatment under conditions of duration of seed storage after harvest and temperature of treatment. Emergence of seedlings from soil and micro-flora infection rate among seed treatments were investigated. 1. The promotion of germination was much more evident in seeds treated with 4% NaOCl for 8 and 10 hours than in seeds treated with 25% or 30% KOH for 30 and 40 minutes. Longer durations of storage before seed treatment in KOH than in NaOCl were required to initiate enough germination. 2. Differences in temperature of treatment with NaOCT did not have much influence on germination of seeds and treatment temperature of 15˚C was better than that of 200˚C and 300˚C for promoting germination. But seed treatment with KOH significantly promoted germination with increasing temperature of treatment from I 5˚C to 20˚C and 30˚C. 3. GA$_3$ treatment enhanced germination in NaOCl-pretreated seeds at early stage of imbibition and in-creased about 10% germination after 10 days of imbibition in KOH-pretreated seeds. 4. NaOC1 treatments significantly decreased the rate of the infection of microflora in seed samples and enhaced emergence of seedlings from soil compared with KOH treatment. 5. NaOC1 treatment had advantage over KOH treatment with respect to ease of preparing, securing and handling in stimulating germinating of Korean lawngrass seeds.

Effects of chlorine dioxide gas fumigation on the storage quality of astringent persimmon (Diospyros kaki T.) Cheongdobansi

  • Because of their short harvest season, large quantities of persimmons must often be processed within a limited time. Therefore, new methods to extend their storage life are required. This study examined the effects of chlorine dioxide (ClO2) gas fumigation for various treatment periods on the storage quality of astringent persimmons Cheongdobansi under low-temperature conditions. The conditions consisted of continuous treatment with ClO2, treatment for 2 weeks with ClO2, and no treatment, all of which are stored at low temperatures. Control samples (storage 0 days) without any treatment were prepared and all experiments were conducted for 10 weeks at two-week intervals. The ClO2 gas treatment maintained the moisture content, color value, hardness, soluble tannin content, and sensory characteristics. However, ClO2 gas treatment did not affect the soluble solids, pH, and total sugar content. In particular, continuous treatment with ClO2 maintained the storage quality after 6-8 weeks of storage, particularly the hardness and weakness (sensory evaluation). The results suggest the potential of continuous treatment with ClO2 as a highly effective method for maintaining the freshness of Cheongdobansi.

유채로부터 갓으로 유전자이동에 의한 교잡종의 휴면에 따른 잡초화 가능성 (Dormancy Associated Weedy Risk of the F1 Hybrid Resulted from Gene Flow from Oilseed Rape to Mustard)

  • 본 연구는 유채의 화분이동으로 근연종 갓과의 교잡을 통해 형성된 교잡종의 발아휴면특성과 월하 및 월동성을 평가하여 교잡종의 잡초화 가능성을 예측하고자 본 연구를 수행하였다. 교잡종은 부본인 유채와 모본인 갓에 비해 전반적인 발아특성이 갓에 근접한 중간적인 특성을 보여주었으며, 휴면성도 41.1%로 갓에 근접한 높은 휴면성을 보여주었다. 수확 직후 종자를 토양에 매립하여 월하특성을 평가한 결과 표토보다는 3 cm 토심에서 월등히 높은 월하특성을 보여주었으며, 월하기간과 상관없이 3 cm 토심조건에서 부본인 유채에 비해 매우 높고 모본인 갓에 비해 약간 높은 월하특성을 보여주었다. 반면 종자의 월동특성은 월하특성과 반대로 표토조건에서 교잡종이 부모종보다 높은 월동성을 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 유채-갓 교잡종은 휴면성이 비교적 높고 월하 및 월동성이 높아 잡초화 가능성이 있음을 시사한다. 유채-갓 교잡종의 보다 명확한 잡초화 가능성 평가를 위해서는 교잡종의 종자생산 가능성 및 자연 생태계 적응성 여부에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요하다.

버들송이 신품종 '진버들송이'의 특성 (Characteristics of new strain 'Jinbudlsongyi' in Agrocybe aegerita)

  • 버들송이버섯의 품종다양화를 위해 단핵균주교잡을 통해 육성된 진버들송이 버섯의 주요특성은 다음과 같다. 가. 균사생장적온은 $24{\sim}26^{\circ}C$이고 버섯발생 및 생육온도는 $18{\sim}20^{\circ}C$였다. 나. 갓색은 진갈색이며 갓형태는 반구형으로 발이는 개체로 발생하였다. 다. 액체종균을 이용하여 톱밥+밀기울+미강+건비지(70:10:10:10) 배지에 접종시 배양일수는 $22{\sim}23^{\circ}C$에서 37~38일정도 소요되었다. 라. 생육온도 $18{\sim}20^{\circ}C$에서 발이일수는 9일, 자실체생육일수 4일정도의 기간이 소요되었으며 수량은 115g/병을 나타내었다. 마. 버섯의 균일성에 있어서 갓색과 갓형태의 이형개체 발생은 없었고, 균사생장량 및 종균배양기간에서도 지역간 균일한 결과를 나타내었다. 바. 병발생에 있어 PDA평판배지에 진버들송이와 병원균을 대치배양시 Pseudomonas 종에 대해서는 저항성을 나타내었으나 Trichoderma 종에 대해서는 저항성이 없있으며 농가실증재배시 배양과정에서 푸른곰팡이병이 4%정도 발생되었다. 사. 진버들송이는 병재배에 적응성이 높은편이고 발이시 환기조절이 중요하며 생육시 권지갓의 착용으로 대의 신장을 도모하고 갓의 전개를 막아주어야 품질향상이 되었다.

밭작물소비수량에 관한 기초적 연구(II)-마늘 및 오이- (Basic Studies on the Consumptive Use of Water Required for Dry Field Crops (2) -Garlic and Cucumber-)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the basic data for irrigation plans of garlic and cucumber during the growing period, such as total amount of evapotranspiration, coefficients of evapotranspiration at each growth stage, the peak stage of evapotranspiration and the maximum evapotranspiraton, optimum irrigation point, total readily available moisture, and intervals of irrigation date. The plots of experiment were arranged with split plot design which were composed of two factors, irrigation point for main plot and soil texture for split plot, and three levels ; irrigation points with pP 1.7-2.1, pP 2.2-2.5, pP 2.6-2.8, for garlic and those with pP 1.9, pF 2.3, pP 2.7, for cucumber, soil textures of silty clay, sandy loam and sandy soil for both garlic and cucumber, with two replications. The results obtained are summarized as follows 1.There was the highest significant correlation between the avapotranspiration of garlic and cucumber and the pan evaporation, beyond all other meteorological factors considered, as mentioned in the previous paper. Therefore, the pan evaporation is enough to be used as a meteorological index measuring the quantity of evapotranspiration. 2.1/10 probability values of maximum total pan evaporation during growing period for garlic and cucumber were shown as 495.8mm and 406.8mm, respectively, and those of maximum ten day pan evaporation for garlic and cucumber, 63.8mm and 69.7mm, respectively. 3.The time that annual maximum of ten day pan evaporation can be occurred, exists at any stage between the middle of May and the late of June(harvest period) for garlic, and at any stage of growing period for cucumber. 4.The magnitude of evapotranspiration and of its coefficient for garlic and cucumber was occurred in the order of pF 1.7-2.1>pF 2.2-2.5>pF 2.6-2.8 and of pF 1.9>pF 2.3>pF2.7 respectively in aspect of irrigation point and of sandy loam>silty clay>sandy soil in aspect of soil texture for both garlic and cucumber. 5.The magnitude of leaf area index was shown in the order of pF 2.2-2.5>pF 1.7-2.1>pF 2.6-2.8 for garlic and of pF 1.9>pF 2.3>pF 2.7 for cucumber in aspect of irrigation point, and of sandy loam>sandy soil>silty clay in aspect of soil texture for both garlic and cucumber. 6.1/10 probability value of evapotranspiration and its coefficient during the growing period for garlic were shown as 391.7mm and 0.79 respectively, while those of cucumber, 423.lmm and 1.04 respectively. 7.The time the maximum evapotranspiration of garlic can be occurred is at the date of thirtieth before harvest period and the time for cucumber is presumed to be at the date of sixtieth to seventieth after transplanting, At that time, 1/10 probability value of ten day evapotranspiration and its coefficient for garlic is presumed to be 65.lmm and 1.02 respectively, while those of cucumber, 94.8mm and 1.36 respectively. 8.In aspect of irrigation point, the weight of raw garlic and cucumber were increased in the order of pF 2.2-2.5>pF 1.7-2.1>pF 2.6-2.8 and of pF 1.9>pF 2.3>pF 2.7 respectively. Therefore, optimum irrigation point for garlic and cucumber is presumed to be pF 2.2-2.5 and pF 1.9 respectively, when the significance of yield between the different irrigation treatments is considered. 9.Except the mulching period of garlic that soil moisture extraction patterns were about the same, those of garlic and cucumber have shown that maximum extraction rate exists at 7cm deep layer at the beginning stage after removing mulching for garlic and at the beginning stage of growth for cucumber and that extraction rates of 21cm to 35cm deep layer are increased as getting closer to the late stage of growth. 10.Total readily available moisture of garlic in silty clay, sandy loam, sandy soil become to be 18.71-24.96mm, 19.08-25.43mm, 10.35- 13.80mm respctively on the basis of the optimum irrigation point with pF 2.2-2.5, while that of cucumber, 11.8lmm, 12.03mm, 6.39mm respectively on the basis of the optimum irrigation point with pF 1.9. 11.The intervals of irrigation date of garlic and cucumber at the growth stage of maximum consumptive use become to be about three and a half days and one and a half days respectively, on the basis of each optimum irrgation point.

  • 경남북지방(慶南北地方)에서 많이 재배(栽培)되고 있는 품종중(品種中) 8품종(品種)의 삽시(澁?)를 선정(選定)하여 탈삽(脫澁)에 따른 가용성(可溶性) tannin의 변화(變化), 경도(硬度) 및 당(糖)의 변화(變化)와 아울러 탈삽후(脫澁後)의 품질변화(品質變化)에 대(對)하여 조사(調査)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1. 가용성(可溶性) tannin의 함량(含量)은 사곡시(舍谷?), 의성반시(義城盤?) 청도반시(淸道盤?)의 순(順)으로 많았으며 탈삽소요일수(脫澁所要日數)는 단성시(丹城?)가 2.5일(日)로 가장 빨랐으며 사곡시(舍谷?)가 가장 늦은 4.5일(日)이었다. 2. 경도(硬度)는 사곡시(舍谷?), 청도반시(淸道盤?)가 가장 높았고 채취 시기가 늦은 품종(品種)일수록 점차 저하(低下)되었다. 3. 당(糖)의 함량(含量)은 고종시(高宗?)가 가장 높았으며 사곡시(舍谷?)가 낮았다. 그리고 탈삽경과중(脫澁經過中) 당(糖)의 변화(變化)는 점차(漸次) 감소(減少)하였다. 4. 탈삽후(脫澁後) 품질유지(品質維持), 청도반시(淸道盤?), 사곡시(舍谷?), 의성반시(義城盤?)의 3품종(品種)이 양호(良好)하였다.

얌빈의 온도별 발아특성과 파종시기에 따른 생산성 비교 (Germination of Yam Bean Seeds as Affected by Temperature and Its Productivity with Different Seeding Dates)

  • 얌빈(Pachyrhizus erosus, Yam bean)은 멕시코 원산의 아열대성 콩과 식물로서 아삭하고 즙이 많아 생으로 먹거나 다양한 요리재료로 사용되는 구근채소이다. 본 시험은 국내에서 얌빈 재배시 적정 파종시기를 찾고자 수행되었으며, 이를 위해 국내에서 주로 재배되는 2종을 대상으로 하여 온도에 따른 발아특성과 파종시기에 따른 적산온도 및 생산성을 비교하였다. 발아율은 $18^{\circ}C$이상에서 86.0~94.0%를 보였으며, 발아 소요일수는 낮은 온도에서 길게 나타났다. 천군만마 품종이 태국 재래종에 비해 개화기나 구근 형성시기가 더 늦었고, 개화와 구근형성 및 비대에 필요한 적산온도도 각각 $293^{\circ}C$, $280^{\circ}C$, $108^{\circ}C$가 더 소요되었으며, 지상부나 구근의 건물량은 더욱 많았다. 또한, 4월 25일 파종은 다른 시기에 비해 구근형성기까지 일수가 더 소요되었고, 구근형성과 비대시기의 지연으로 수확지수가 낮았으며, 6월 9일 이후 파종시는 영양생장이 충분하지 않은 상태에서 10월 하순 이후 저온 및 서리로 인해 생육이 정지되어 구근의 충분한 비대가 어려웠다. 한편, 5월 10일과 25일에 파종한 경우에는 일장, 온도 등의 변화가 영양생장과 구근형성에 유리하게 작용하여 얌빈 두 종 모두 구근 건물량과 수확지수가 높고 수량이 많아 파종시기로 적합하였다.

논과 고랭지 배추밭 대상 Sentinel-2A/B 정규식생지수 월 합성영상의 구름 제거 효과 분석 (Analysis of the Cloud Removal Effect of Sentinel-2A/B NDVI Monthly Composite Images for Rice Paddy and High-altitude Cabbage Fields)

  • 농작물은 그 종과 생육상태에 따라 민감한 분광특성을 나타내며, 특히 여름철에 집중적으로 관측이 필요하나 장마로 인해 광학위성의 활용이 어렵다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 CC-MNC(Constrained Cloud-Maximum NDVI Composite) 기법이 개발되었으며, 이 기법을 통해 구름의 영향이 최소화된 일정 주기의 대표 합성영상이 생성된다. 본 연구에서도 이 기법을 이용하여, 2019년부터 2021년까지 논과 고랭지 배추밭을 대상으로 Sentinel-2A/B NDVI 월합성영상을 제작하였다. 다른 해보다 200 mm 많은 강수량을 보이는 2020년 8월에는 16일 주기 MODIS NDVI합성영상에서도 구름의 영향이 크게 나타났다. 이 시기를 제외하고 CC-MNC 기법은 평균적으로 원영상의 45.4%의 구름 비율을 14.9%로 줄일 수 있었다. 논의 경우 Sentinel-2A/B와 MODIS NDVI 값이 큰 차이가 나지 않았으며, 5일의 주기로도 벼의 생육 주기를 잘 모니터링할 수 있었다. 고랭지 배추밭의 경우, Sentinel-2A/B에서는 고랭지 배추의 짧은 생육 주기가 잘 나타났지만, MODIS는 공간해상도의 한계를 보였다. 이와 함께 CC-MNC 기법은 수확 시기에 구름 화소가 합성에 사용되는 현상이 보이기도 하였으며, 국내지역에 맞게 VZA 임계치의 조정이 필요하다는 시사점이 도출되었다.

Comparison of Environment, Growth, and Management Performance of the Standard Cut Chrysanthemum 'Jinba' in Conventional and Smart Farms

  • Background and objective: This study was conducted to compare the cultivation environment, growth of cut flowers, and management performance of conventional farms and smart farms growing the standard cut chrysanthemum, 'Jinba'. Methods: Conventional and smart farms were selected, and facility information, cultivation environment, cut flower growth, and management performance were investigated. Results: The conventional and smart farms were located in Muan, Jeollanam-do, and conventional farming involved cultivating with soil culture in a plastic greenhouse, while the smart farm was cultivating with hydroponics in a plastic greenhouse. The conventional farm did not have sensors for environmental measurement such as light intensity and temperature and pH and EC sensors for fertigation, and all systems, including roof window, side window, thermal screen, and shading curtain, were operated manually. On the other hand, the smart farm was equipped with sensors for measuring the environment and nutrient solution, and was automatically controlled. The day and night mean temperatures, relative humidity, and solar radiation in the facilities of the conventional and the smart farm were managed similarly. But in the floral differentiation stage, the floral differentiation was delayed, as the night temperature of conventional farm was managed as low as 17.7℃ which was lower than smart farm. Accordingly, the harvest of cut flowers by the conventional farm was delayed to 35 days later than that of the smart farm. Also, soil moisture and EC of the conventional farm were unnecessarily kept higher than those of the smart farm in the early growth stage, and then were maintained relatively low during the period after floral differentiation, when a lot of water and nutrients were required. Therefore, growth of cut flower, cut flower length, number of leaves, flower diameter, and weight were poorer in the conventional farm than in the smart farm. In terms of management performance, yield and sales price were 10% and 38% higher for the smart farm than for the conventional farm, respectively. Also, the net income was 2,298 thousand won more for the smart farm than for the conventional farm. Conclusion: It was suggested that the improved growth of cut flowers and high management performance of the smart farm were due to precise environment management for growth by the automatic control and sensor.
