Interworking of legacy TC application and CORBA-BASED one is important to satisfy emerging market demands of the rapid introduction of new multimedia services and building of scalable, flexible, and interoperable service control architecture. For this, we develop generic TC/CORBA gateway on interworking between. TC and CORBA system Generic TC/CORBA gateway can be used for interworking in many fields of telecommunication service control such as INAP, MAP, other TC-based application parts, and mobility management of IMT-2000. Finally, we propose the object pool mechanism for efficient management of TC-user objects and it is helpful for enhancement of scalability and reduction of the response time of remote service operations.

This study evaluates user experience of streaming stick service through usability testing. Streaming stick services such as Roku, Chromecast, and Everoncast were tested in ten levels belonging to five usability variables that are composed of efficiency of use, accuracy, meaningfulness, flexibility, and consistency. Each variable has two levels respectively that are responsiveness, minimal action, error prevention, error detection, error recovery, understandability, learnability, substitutivity, predictability, and familiarity in order. Twenty five participants volunteerly joined this research, and the results showed that Roku is superior to another two OTTs in most levels and variables. It implies that participants prefer to remote control, many channels, and personalized service during experiencing the service.

The structure of $IP^2$(IP based-IMT Network Platform) as ubiquitous platform is three-layered model : Middleware including NCPF(Network Control Platform) and SSPF(Service Support Platform), IP-BB(IP-Backbone), Access network including Sensor network. A mobility management(MM) architecture in NCPF is proposed for $IP^2$. It manages routing information and location information separately. The existing method of multicast control in $IP^2$ is Remote Subscription. But Remote Subscription has problem that should be reconstructed whole Multicast tree when sender moves. To solve this problem, we propose a way to put Multicast Manager in NCPF.

Wireless Sensor Network(WSNs) consists of small sensor nodes with sensing, computation, and wireless communication capabilities. It has new information collection scheme and monitoring solution for a variety of applications. Faults occurring to sensor nodes are common due to the limited resources and the harsh environment where the sensor nodes are deployed. In order to ensure the network quality of service it is necessary for the WSN to be able to detect the faulty sensors and take necessary actions for the reconstruction of the lost sensor data caused by fault as earlier as possible. In this paper, we propose an recursive PCA-based fault detection and lost data reconstruction algorithm for sensor networks. Also, the performance of proposed scheme was verified with simulation studies.

본 논문에서는 무선센서네트워크 기술을 활용하여 각종 생장환경 정보들을 수집하고 모니터링 할 수 있는 무선센서네트워크 기반의 온실환경 모니터링 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 또한, 원격지에서 온실 시설내 내부 환경 및 시설제어시스템을 통합 제어 관리하기 위한 시스템을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템은 넓은 온실 내부의 환경 데이터 수집 및 온실 시설 제어 서비스를 제공함은 물론 무선센서네트워크 기반 온실환경 모니터링 시스템 및 온실시설 제어를 통하여 실시간 원격 온실 통합 서비스 제공이 가능하다. 통합관리시스템을 위한 GUI 구현은 HMI기반의 시스템 모니터링부로 설계하였으며, 센서정보들은 실시간으로 통합관리시스템의 모니터링 화면을 통해 센서 결과값을 출력할 수 있음을 결과로 얻을 수 있었다.

Location Based Services, or LBS refers to value-added service by processing information utilizing mobile user location. With the rapidly increasing wireless internet subscribers and world LBS market, the various location based applications are introduced such as buddy finder, proximity and security services. As the killer application of the wireless internet, the LBS has preconsidered technology about location determination technology, LBS middleware server for various application, and diverse contents processing technology. This paper describes the open architecture for LBS platform ensuring interoperability among the wireless networks and various location-based application services and the functional requirements for the LBS platform. The LBS platform in a narrow sense provides a standard interfaces for location management and network management for location services as follows, positioning (location acquisition through network or/and handset), location managing, location based functions, profile management, authentication and security, location based billing, information roaming between carriers and the system monitoring independent to specific network or ISP/CPs(Content Providers).

본 논문에서는 스마트폰과 생체센서를 사용하여 몸이 불편한 고령자의 상태를 수시로 모니터링하고 보호자 및 간병인으로 하여금 언제, 어디서나 최고의 의료서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 하는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안 시스템은 아두이노를 기반으로 병실에 설치된 다양한 생체센서들을 통해 고령자의 상태를 모니터링하고 고령자가 필요로 하는 생리적, 의료적 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 할뿐 아니라, 만일의 경우 보호자에게 알려 위급한 순간을 대처할 수 있게 하였다. 결론적으로, 본 논문은 아두이노와 안드로이드 애플리케이션(앱)을 이용하여 고령자가 사용하는 독서 등을 생체센서가 달린 홈 서버로 동작하게 하고, 간병인 및 보호자의 스마트폰을 원격관리 및 긴급호출 시스템으로 구성함으로써 향후 만성질환 고령자와 간병인 모두에게 의료서비스 만족도를 향상 시키는 중요한 방안을 제시한다.

Geo-based application services linked with the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Web Processing Service (WPS) protocol have been regarded as an important standardized framework for of digital earth building in the web environments. The WPS protocol provides interface standards for analysis functionalities within geo-spatial processing in web-based service systems. Despite its significance, there is few performance tests of WPS applications. The main motivation in this study is to perform the comparative performance test on WPS standards. Test system, which was composed of WPS servers, WPS framework, data management module, geo-based data processing module and client-sided system, was implemented by fully open source stack. In this system, two kinds of geo-based image processing functions such as cloud detection and gradient magnitude computation were applied. The performance test of different server environments of non-WPS, synchronous WPS 1.0 and asynchronous WPS 2.0 was carried out using 100 threads and 400 threads corresponds client users on a web-based application service. As the result, at 100 threads, performance of three environments was within an adjacent range in the average response time to complete the processing of each thread. At 400 threads, the application case of WPS 2.0 showed the distinguished characteristics for higher performance in the response time than the small threads cases. It is thought that WPS 2.0 contributes to settlement of without performance problems such as time delay or thread accumulation.

본 논문은 모바일 장치에 의한 데이터베이스 관리 시스템에 관해 기술한다. 본 시스템은 모바일 장치를 사용해서 언제 어디서든지 즉시 원격으로 데이터베이스를 관리 가능하다. 이를 위해 모바일 디바이스와 인터페이스 가능한 dataset server CE와 모바일 장치에서 운용 가능한 데이터베이스 관리 시스템 및 모바일 장치를 데스크톱 컴퓨터와 연결 시켜주는 웹 서비스 프로그램을 개발했다. 외부의 모바일 장치는 웹 서비스 기능과 무선으로 연결한다. 개발한 시스템은 dataset server CE 클라이언트 엔진, 웹 서비스 서버 에이전트 및 모바일 관리 시스템을 포함한다. 애플리케이션 프로그램을 이용해서 시스템의 기능을 테스트 했고, 테스트 결과 개발한 시스템이 원래의 목적대로 잘 운용됨을 확인했다.

최근 스마트카드를 이용한 원격 사용자 인증 기법은 개인 프라이버시 보호에 대한 관심 및 요구가 증가됨에 따라 사용자 익명성을 제공하려는 방향으로 활발히 진행되고 있다. 초기에 제안된 인증 기법에서는 사용자와 사용자가 서비스를 제공받고자 하는 서버를 제외한 제3자에 대한 사용자 익명성만을 고려하였으나 최근 서비스 제공자에 의한 개인정보유출 사고 등이 증가하면서 제3자뿐만 아니라 원격 서버에 대해서도 사용자의 익명성이 보장되는 기법이 요구되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 사용자 익명 인증 기법은 원격 서버가 사용자의 악의적인 행동을 감지했을 때 신뢰기관의 협조를 얻어 악의적인 사용자를 추적할 수 있는 기능 또한 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 제3자뿐만 아니라 원격 서버에 대해서도 사용자의 신원에 대한 익명성을 보장하며, 악의적인 사용자의 행동에 따른 문제 발생 시에 이를 추적 가능한 익명 인증 기법을 제안한다.
