온톨로지 기반 최적 리모델링 대안선정 방법 (Ontology based Green Remodeling Alternative Selection Method)

  • 경제적인 측면이나 친환경적인 측면의 사유로 인해, 노후 건축물을 대상으로 그린리모델링 사업이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 한편, 그린리모델링 사업을 추진하는 과정에서, 기존에는 설계자 및 엔지니어의 주관적 경험 및 지식에 기반하여 그린리모델링 계획이 개발되어 왔고, 이로 인해 경제성 등의 측면에서 효율적인 의사결정이 부족했다. 이에 본 연구에서는 노후 건축물의 속성을 분석하고 이에 따른 적정 리모델링 계획을 제안할 수 있는 온톨로지 기반 그린리모델링 의사결정 지원 모델을 구축하였다. 개발된 모델에서는 건축물의 기본 속성을 입력하면 온톨로지를 통한 웹검색을 기반으로 패시브 액티브 요소로 구성된 적정 리모델링 계획을 제공할 수 있다. 연구를 통해 개발된 결과물을 활용하면, 리모델링 사례의 증가에 따른 웹기반의 메타 데이터 검색을 통해 보다 객관적인 적정 리모델링 대안에 대한 의사결정 지원이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

  • According to the rapid development of digital technology, the free formed buildings with complex and various curved surfaces are being constructed. Most of the external cladding of free formed buildings have been applied materials such as metal, glass, FRP, GFRC, etc. However, these materials have many disadvantages such as a complicated manufacturing process for realizing 3D irregular shape and an increase in production period and cost. Therefore, the studies for UHPC which is an optimized material for overcoming this problem for a long time in overseas. This study reviewed the remodeling construction of Samsung-dong KEB Hana Bank appling the exterior curved UHPC panel for the first time in Korea. As a result, we confirmed the possibility of UHPC panels with various free formed shapes.

Utilizing 3D Laser Scanning Technology for Remodeling Work of Building Inside

  • Laser scanning technology is a maturing measurement technology which is capable of obtaining 3D measurement data of objects with high-accuracy, high-resolution and in a short time. Laser scanners are used more and more as surveying instruments for various applications. This paper describes the procedure of 3D data acquirement using terrestrial LiDAR and section drawing extraction through a series of processing for remodeling the interior of a department building. Accurate drawings are needed for improvement construction of building interior. However if the design drawings of that time of construction work were lost or damaged or actual dimensions of drawings differ from those of design drawings, the interior should be resurveyed. In this study, the extraction process of interior plane figures were suggested through using laser scanning and related reverse engineering software

  • In urban planning and architecture, there has been emerging paradigm of regeneration, taking place of demolishing first, and new development next principle. Retrofit and remodeling, thereby, became important. The purpose of the research in to examine a reused space with new function. The target space was the former slaughterhouse in the ailing district of the Bologna City with ever increasing vandalism and fear caused by empty buildings, which was regenerated into a culturally affluent area, such as cultural facilities including cinema, gallery, art school cluster along with elderly club and child care center nearby. Through this regeneration, more affluent life opportunity was provided for citizens and local residents. This case study shows how old the building and interior space have been transformed to accommodate contemporary needs, while preserving historical features.

노후건축물 벽체의 열관류율 측정 및 분석 (Measurement and Analysis on Thermal Performance of Walls for Old Building)

  • Green remodeling of pubic buildings for improving indoor environment and reducing energy consumption is increasingly promoted. The objective of this study is to measure and analyze for wall's thermal performance, thermal transmittance, of existing buildings. The method of this present study refered the ISO 9869-1 and is to measured heat flow, surface temperature of wall, and in/outdoor temperature over 7 days. And it was compared the calculated thermal transmittance with measured one. The measured wall's thermal transmittance value is about two times than the calculated thermal transmittance value.

일제강점기 '공통형' 군청사의 배치 유형과 유형별 증·개축 경향 (Site-Plan Types of Common Design's Goon Office Buildings and their Addition & Remodeling in Japanese Colonial Period)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 일제강점기 공통도면을 사용해 계획된 군청사에 대해 본가-부속가 연결방식을 기준으로 그 배치유형을 정리하고 각 유형별 증 개축 방향을 고찰하는 것이다. 우선, 디지털이미지로 제공되는 국가기록원 소장 1910년대 작성된 군청사 관련 건축도면을 분석하여 공통형 군청사의 배치유형 세 가지를 확인하고, 기타 자료를 통해 두 가지 배치유형을 추가발굴한다. 이어서, 각 배치유형을 본가-부속가 연결방식을 기준으로 세분한 후 그 증 개축경향을 정리한다. 연구방법은 군청사 관련 건축도면 디지털이미지, 그 해제, 조선총독부와 각 도가 주고받은 문서, 신문과 잡지의 기사 도면 사진 등을 분석하는 문헌연구방법이다. 공통형 군청사의 다섯가지 배치유형은 13가지로 세분되고, 각 세분된 유형에서 증 개축은 각 부지의 지형 형상 기타 사정에 따라 달랐지만, 본가는 신축 및 증 개축 상황에서 항상 전면 중앙에 위치하여 관청사로서 상징성과 중심성을 유지하려는 노력은 일관된다. 공통형 군청사의 계획은 1930년대 초반까지도 꾸준히 이어진다.

기존 노후 건물의 단열 성능에 따른 옥상 녹화 시스템 설치시 에너지 성능 변화 (Energy Saving Effects of Green Roof in Exiting Buildings according to Different Insulation Levels)

  • Energy performance of building envelope components, including external walls, floors, roofs, windows and doors, is crutial for determining how much energy is required for heating and cooling in a building. Among various building technologies, a green roof system can be a good option for reducing heat gain and loss in new buildings as well as existing buildings for green remodeling. This paper evaluates the performance of green roof systems according to soil depth and Leaf Area Index (LAI) for existing buildings. It also attempts to quantify the energy saving effects on new and existing buildings with different insulation levels. Thermal performance of green roofs is mainly dependent on soil thickness and LAI. Installation of green roofs in deteriorated existing buildings can lead to improvements in roof insulation, due to the soil layer. An increase in soil depth leads to a decrease in heating load, regardless of conditions of vegetation on the green roof. Larger LAI values may reduce cooling loads in the cooling season. Installation of green roof in deteriorated existing buildings showed bigger energy saving effect in comparison to a case in new buildings. A simulation study showed that the installation of green roof systems in deteriorated existing buildings with low insulation levels, due to low thermal performance requirements when constructed, could improve the energy performance of the buildings similar or better to the peformance on new buildings with the most updated insulation standard. Thus, when remodeling a deteriorated building, green roofs could be a good option to meet the most recent energy requirements.

공동주택 외관 리모델링 과정에서 거주자 참여 설계를 지원하는 인터넷 기반 외관디자인 협업설계 프로세스에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Internet-based Collaborative Exterior Design Process to Support Users′Participation in Apartment Exterior Remodeling)

  • The facade design of apartment is getting more important, since residents'needs on raising the quality of housing have increased, and also public interests on urban landscape are higher than before. As a way of improving facade design the necessity of remodeling consequently has been risen. The government also relieves the regulations related to remodeling. A apartment facade design should address how to express both identities and aesthetic tastes of residents, so they want to reflect their own ideas and opinions on the apartment facade design during the remodeling process. It is not always easy, unfortunately, to reflect residents'ideas and opinions due to the public characteristics of apartment facades and absence of tools that support effective design participation. This paper proposes an internet-based collaborative design process that supports residents'active participation in the exterior remodeling process of apartment. We outline three main issues involved in developing the design system: 1) a semantic facade database built upon classification of building facades; 2) an Internet-based facade modeler based on a real-time, rule-based procedural modeling method; and finally 3) the virtual reality(VR) simulation that allows a group of designers and residents to design in a collaborative fashion.

  • This research is to analyze the characteristics of housing remodeling behaviors within detached houses that located at three small cities in the central part of Korea. The characteristics indicate similar aspects of maintenance and improvement behaviors in the occurrence time and space, while space alteration shows different aspects. In the frequency of occurrences, maintenance behaviors occurring in the point of building maintenance and preservation is performed most actively, the next is improvement behaviors, and space alteration behaviors is the lowest frequency. Type of remodeling behaviors shows the characteristics that maintenance behaviors are active in served spaces(bed room space, family living space) while alteration and improvement behaviors occur more in servant spaces.(household working space, outdoor space and sanitary space)

중소규모 의료시설의 리모델링에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Remodeling of Small-to-Middle Size Hospital)

  • Recently, the demand of construction a new hospital is apt to decrease in the rate of increase. The demand changes quantitative expansion into seeking quality of more pleasant healing environment. Special conditions should be taken into consideration when we remodeling the hospital, because it has special and complicated equipment system. Also, newly invented medical instruments cause extension and reconstruction of a building, therefore construction of hospital continued growth and variation. Hospitals of small-to-middle size are changing to correspond on patients' request under these environment. Now we have little awareness and experience about remodeling yet, and systematic research is insufficient. Therefore, this study is aiming to purpose a data of future hospital construction plan and suitable hospital remodeling's plan direction through analysis of done medium and small scale hospitals.
