Ionospheric anomaly is one of the major error sources which deteriorate the GNSS performance. In the equatorial region, effects of the ionospheric plasma bubbles are of great interest because they are pretty common phenomena, especially in the period of the high solar activity. In order to evaluate the GNSS performance under circumstance of the bubbles, an ionospheric scintillation monitor has been developed and installed in Bangkok, Thailand. Furthermore, a model simulating the ionospheric delay and scintillation due to the bubbles has been developed. Based on these developments, the effects of the simulated plasma bubbles are analyzed and their agreement with the real observation is demonstrated. An availability degradation of the GPS ground based augmentation system (GBAS) caused by the bubbles is exampled in details. Finally, an integrated GPS/INS approach based on the Doppler frequency is proposed to remedy the deterioration.

Assumptions have always been that wall thinning on the secondary side piping in nuclear power plants is mostly caused by Flow-Accelerated Corrosion (FAC). Recent studies have showed that wall thinning on the secondary side piping is caused by Liquid Droplet Impingement Erosion (LDIE), Solid Particle Erosion (SPE), cavitation, and flashing. To manage those aging mechanisms, several software such as CHECWORKS, COMSY, and BRT-CICERO have been used in nuclear power plants. Korean nuclear power plants have been using the CHECWORKS program since 1996 to date. However, many site engineers have experienced a lot of inconveniences and problems in using the CHECWORKS program. In order to work through the inconveniences and to remedy problems, KEPCO-E&C has developed a "3D-based pipe wall thinning management program (ToSPACE)" based on the experience of over 30 years in relation to the pipe wall thinning management. This study compares the results of FAC and LDIE analysis using both the CHECWORKS and ToSPACE programs with respect to validation of the wall thinning analysis results.

Objective: There are currently no disease-modifying medications or definite long-term sustainable interventions for patients with Parkinson's disease (PD), indicating an unmet treatment need. Our goal was to create a long-term sustainable intervention for PD patients that can be used in Korean medicine clinics. Methods: The Meridian Activation Remedy System (MARS) was created to stimulate a patient's 12 meridians and sinew channels using a combination of acupoint stimulation and exercise. The acupoints and motions used in MARS were selected through literature studies and expert advice. The methodologies were refined using observational and case studies. With slow and fast movements, the MARS intervention was intended to activate both slow- and fast-twitch muscle fibers. Intradermal acupuncture and motion that shift the center of gravity were employed to enhance the patient's balance and proprioception. In addition, the intervention included alternating movement exercises to address the complex cognitive decline commonly occurring in PD patients. Results: The following acupoints were chosen for the MARS intervention: bilateral Hegu (LI4), Houxi (SI3), Waiguan (TE5), Neiguan (PC6), Zhongchong (PC9), Yuji (LU10), Zusanli (ST36), Yanglingquan (GB34), Taichong (LR3), Kunlun (BL60), and Taixi (KI3). We also developed actions that can stimulate the body's 12 meridians. Conclusion: We developed the MARS intervention, which combines acupuncture and exercise, to address the unmet therapeutic needs of PD patients. We hope that with additional research, the MARS intervention can be set as an effective therapeutic program for PD patients.

As vehicles become more intelligent for safety and convenience of drivers, in-vehicle networking systems such as controller are network (CAN) have been widely used due to increasing number of electronic control unit (ECU). Recently, FlexRay was developed to replace CAN protocol in chassis networking systems, to remedy the shortage of transmission capacity and unsatisfactory real-time transmission delay of conventional CAN. However, it is difficult for vehicle network designers to calculate platform configuration registers (PCR) and determine a base cycle or slot length of FlexRay. To assist vehicle network designers for designing FlexRay cluster, this paper presents automatic field bus exchange format (FIBEX) generation algorithm from CANdb information, which is de-facto standard database format for CAN. To design this program, structures of FIBEX, CANdb and relationship among PCR variables are analyzed.

The Communication Ocean, Meteorological Satellite (COMS) as the one of the national space program has been developed by Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARl). The Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI) is one of the main payloads ofCOMS which will provide consistent monitoring of ocean-colour around the Korean Peninsula from geostationary platforms. The ocean color observation from geostationary platform is required to remedy the coverage constraints imposed by polar orbiting platforms. In this paper the main characteristics of GOCI are described and compared with the current ocean color sensors. The GOCI will provide the measurement data of 6 visible channels and 2 nearinfrared channels (40Onm - 900nm). The high radiometric sensitivity is essential of ocean color sensor because of the weak water leaving radiance.

TWe investigated whether work ability index(WAI) was highly correlated with work environment(physical work environment, working condition and work form) correlated high. The study population consisted of technicians from one manufacturing company in South Korea(n=104). WAI and work environment were analyzed by correlation and multiple regression. Therefore, we conclude that the correlation of WAI and work environment in this population was high. So if there are the older employees having a poor score on the items related to work environment, we can elevate the work ability by dealing with work environment. Moreover, we can make the best program to maintain and raise WAI in short term.

Urine is a gift of God for the health of human being in proverbs of the Old Testament in Hindu. Urine therapy (UT) is not a mysterious folk remedy, it is doctor's examined prescription based on modern science and UT is recommended strongly with absolute confidence. It is effective and amazing to a number of incurables such as chronic fatigue, lingering, a cold, nose allergy, diabetes, high blood pressure, and gout. Also, UT is applied not only for human beings but also for animals, the latter including amazing effects for pigs and cows. The purpose of this manuscript is to help change the misunderstandings of urine and UT and to help reader realize it is one of the helpful alternative remedies.

The Case Study prepared by PCPA and Lift Group will identify a growing development problem in urban areas; high value project sites that are restrictive in size or "tight" are underutilized and underdeveloped. In an effort to remedy this problem, our team will evaluate a design program through the lens of both conventional construction and Core Cantilever Construction. It is also important to differentiate between Core Cantilever construction and the plagued "Lift Slab" construction method as they may be confused, due to the top down construction sequence. This article will demonstrate that constraints inherent to conventional construction techniques prohibit economically viable development of these project sites, while Core Cantilever construction methods increase the projects value by reducing construction timelines and increasing the useable floor area.

Asthma is one of the most common chronic disease of childhood. Although an improved understanding of the pathophysiology of asthma has had a positive impact on the treatment and management of the disease, there has been a gradual but significant increase in asthma mortality. Also, mother's caring type is the essential factor in management of the child with asthma. The purpose of this study is to identify and understand the caring patterns of mathers of children with Athma by Q methodology. As a research method, 35 Q-statements were collected through individual interviews and review of related literatures. 37 subjects were interviewed and the data were analyzed by the PC QUANL program with principal component analysis. The were 3 different caring types classified as follows : Type I was the therapeutic compliance obeying type, compliancing medication and preventing cold etc. Type II was the physical strengthening type, taking Chinese medicine and folk remedy etc. Type III was the environment control type, managing house and environment clearly and ventilating room air etc. Therefore, it needs considering above each type in nursing care of the family and children with asthma.

현대에는 다양한 촬영 기기가 널리 사용되고 있으며 인터넷 등을 통한 이미지 파일 공유, UCC의 발달 등으로 인해 많은 사람들이 이미지 파일을 편집할 수 있는 툴을 원하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 Drag and Drop을 통해 Poisson Technique을 이용한 Image Composition Program을 제안한다. Source Image와 Target Image 파일만 가지고 있으면 원하는 부분을 마우스를 이용해 선택하고 Drag and Drop 이라는 간단하고 가시적인 동작만을 취함으로써 원하는 위치에 원하는 그림을 자연스럽게 합성 할 수 있다. 또한 포아송 테크닉으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 동화현상 및 적화현상 등의 문제를 해결하는 방법을 제시한다.
