신뢰도 공간과 선형 제어를 통한 스테레오 정합 기법 (Stereo Matching Algorithm Based on Line Constraint and Reliability Space)

  • A new method is proposed for stereo vision where solution to disparity map is presented in terms of Line constraint and Reliability space -- the first constraint proposes a progressive framework for stereo matching which applies local area pixel-values from corresponding lines in the left and right image pairs. The second states that reliability space based on corresponding points records the disparity and then we are able to apply the median filter in order to reduce the noises which occur in the process. A coarse to fine result is presented after the median filtering, which improves the final result qualitatively. Experiment is evaluated by rectified stereo matching images pairs from Middlebury datasets and has proved that those two adopted strategies yield good matching quantitative results in terms of fast running speed.

참조표준 등록을 위한 천문역법 자료 분석 (ANALYSIS OF ASTRONOMICAL ALMANAC DATA FOR NATIONAL STANDARD REFERENCE DATA)

  • Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI), direct decendant of Korea National Astronomy Observatory, has been publishing Korean Astronomical Almanac since in 1976. The almanac contains essential data in our daily lives such as the times of sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset, conversion tables between luni-solar and solar calendars, and so forth. So, we are planning to register Korean astronomical almanac data for national Standard Reference Data(SRD), which is a scientific/technical data whose the reliablity and the accuracy are authorized by scientific analysis and evalution. To be certificated as national SRD, reference data has to satisfy several criteria such as traceability, consistency, uncertainty, and so on. Based on similarity among calculation processes, we classified astronomical almanac data into three groups: Class I, II, and III. We are planning to register them for national SRD in consecutive order. In this study, we analyzed Class I data which is aimed to register in 2009, and presented the results. Firstly, we found that the traceability and the consistency can be ensured by the usage of NASA/JPL DE405 ephemeris and by the comparsion with international data, respectively. To evaluate uncertainty in Class I data, we solved the mathematical model and determined the factors influencing the calculations. As a result, we found that the atmospheric refraction is the main factor and leads to a variation of ${\pm}16$ seconds in the times of sunrise and sunset. We also briefly review the histories of astronomical almanac data and of standard reference data in Korea.

SPACE 수업 전략이 국민 학교 아동들의 증발과 응결 개념 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effectiveness of SPACE Instructional Strategies for the Conceptual Change of the Elementary School children on Evaporation and Condensation)

  • The aim of this research was to compare and analyze the children's ideas on evaporation and condensation between pre- and post-intervention. Forty-eight children from six elementary schools in Seoul and Kyung Ki provinces were sampled by stratified random sampling. A set of structured activities was then provided which allow children to explore evaporation and condensation phenomena. All of these activities had a preliminary phase which required the child to predict or speculate on evaporation and condensation using their existing knowledge. These structured activities on evaporation and condensation were reviewed by three professors and eigth primary school teachers. Their comments were used to revise the original contents of the structured activities. The data analysed were gathered by the questionaire and the interview. Pre- and post-intervention data related to evaporation and condensation were collected by the same teacher, and analysed into the same category scheme. Data coding was carried out several times by the researcher to ensure reliablity. Data collected were then classified and analyzed according to the types of children's ideas. The findings of this study were as follows: Results of this study showed that the the vocabulary used to describe the evaporation phenomena varied according to the context, and the scientific term "evaporated" was more frequently used by the older children after post-intervention. But everyday terms such as"dried up","disappered", "gone up" were also used by children as much as the level of pre-intervention. Scientific conception on the location of evaporated water, the factor of evaporation, the ideas about getting the water back and assumption about the physical state of the missing water has been increased for the most of the children after intervention. It was found that the intervention using was effective SPACE strategies regardless of the grade level of the children.

국민학생(園民學生)의 과학(科學) 탐구능력(探究能力) 측정(測定)을 위한 평가도구(評價道具) 개발(開發) (Development of a Test of Science Inquiry Skills Elementary School Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an reliable instrument for evaluating science inquiry skills through an R&D procedure. A total of ten seience inquiry skills were selected for the development of the instrument, ie, observation, classifying, recognizing problems, measuring, inferring, formulating hypothesis, controlling variables, experimenting, interpreting and drowing a conclusion. And three items were developed for each sceince inquiry skill, totaling up to thirty items. The content areas of developed items are divided into three categories, material and energy, life and environment, and the earth and the space. There are 10 items for each category. The content validity and the objectivity of developed items were checked, verified in the two field trials and revised according to the analysis of items by seven experienced specialists with the degree of doctors in science education and five teachers who were studying for their master's degree in science education. According to the results of the second field trial. the content validity of the instrument was 91.1%, reliablity(K-R 20) 0.78, defficulty index 49.13%, discrimination index 0.42, mean achivement 61.85%, standard deviation 5.11, and standard error 2.40. Considering the above results, the developed instrument in this study is regarded as a appropriate instrument for evaluating science inquiry skills of elementary school students.

중학교 기술.가정교과의 반바지 만들기 단원에 대한 e-Learning 적용 효과 (The Effect of e-Learning Application to the Unit of Making Short Trousers in Technology-Home Economics of Middle School)

  • 본 연구는 중등교육과정의 의생활 단원 중 반바지 만들기 수업에 e-Learning 적용 효과를 평가하고자 수행하였다. 이를 위해 e-Learning 수업을 위한 사이버 공간으로 인터넷 카페를 개설하고, 여러 곳에서 개발한 기존의 의생활 관련의 콘텐츠를 활용하였으며, e-Learning 수업을 위한 인터넷 카페 운영의 효율성을 연구하였다. 또한 교수 학습 지도안을 제작하여 수업에 활용하였으며, e-Learning 수업의 효과를 평가하기 위해 수업 후 학생들의 반응을 설문 조사하였다. 요약된 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, e-Learning 활용 수업으로 가정 교과 학습 내용을 학습자 수준에 맞게 다양한 방법으로 재구성하고 여러 가지 학습콘텐츠를 제공하였다. 둘째, e-Learning 활용 수업을 위하여 학습 자료실에 교과서외의 다양한 자료와 심화 보충 학습 자료를 탑재하여 수준별 선택학습이 가능하였다. 셋째, 과제 결과물을 모든 학생들이 같이 볼 수 있어 평가의 신뢰성을 높이며, 과제 제출물에 대하여 스스로 학습을 계획하고 실천하며 결과를 볼 수 있었다. 넷째, 학생과 교사, 학생과 학생간에 쌍방향적 교류가 가능하므로 교과학습 내용이나 과제에 대한 의견 교환으로 효율적인 학습활동이 이루어질 뿐 아니라 생활 전반에 걸친 상담도 수시로 이루어져 학습지도, 진학지도 및 인성지도가 가능하게 되었다. 다섯째, e-Learning 활용 수업에 대한 학생들의 만족도는 전반적으로 높았으며 특히 의생활 영역에 대한 흥미와 이해가 증가되었고 스스로 공부하는 학습 태도나 습관이 길러졌다고 평가하였다. 또한 e-Learning활용 수업이 도움이 되었으며, 그 이유로는 방과후에도 계속 학습할 수 있고 다양한 자료를 얻을 수 있으며 과제제출방법이 간편하다는 것을 들었다. 끝으로 본 연구에서는 의생활과 관련하여 활용 가능한 콘텐츠를 수업에 적용시키는 것에 주안점을 두었으나, 보다 발전적인 연구를 위하여 e-Learning 교수 학습 모형에 따른 다양한 가정과 영역별 적용 사례 개발 및 발굴이 진행되어야 하며, 사이버교육 콘텐츠 개발 지원으로 학생들의 학습 수준과 흥미를 고려한 다양한 학습 콘텐츠의 제작 보급이 필요하다고 사료된다.
