  • Typical aging for the rubber using the current military adhesive combat boots was spread with a regular aging caused by heat stress. In this study, the aging test of the rubber for combat boots was carried out and the reaction rate constant, k was calculated at aging temperature $60^{\circ}C$, $80^{\circ}C$ and $100^{\circ}C$, using the Arrhenius equation. The lifetime limit was assumed that the tensile strength of the product is reduced to 30%, the elongation is reduced to 50% and abrasion resistance ratio is 380%. ln($P/P_0$) and the lifetime was predicted with the consideration of the activation energy constant. According to the above, the lifetime of the rubber for combat boots with influenced by aging temperature was predicted. As the result, the estimate lifetime at $20^{\circ}C$ was confirmed more than 10 years.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to arrange the life data analysis literatures based on the Bayesian method quantitatively and provide it as tables. Methods: The Bayesian method produces a more accurate estimates of other traditional methods in a small sample size, and it requires specific algorithm and prior information. Based on these three characteristics of the Bayesian method, the criteria for classifying the literature were taken into account. Results: In many studies, there are comparisons of estimation methods for the Bayesian method and maximum likelihood estimation (MLE), and sample size was greater than 10 and not more than 25. In probability distributions, a variety of distributions were found in addition to the distributions of Weibull commonly used in life data analysis, and MCMC and Lindley's Approximation were used evenly. Finally, Gamma, Uniform, Jeffrey and extension of Jeffrey distributions were evenly used as prior information. Conclusion: To verify the characteristics of the Bayesian method which are more superior to other methods in a smaller sample size, studies in less than 10 samples should be carried out. Also, comparative study is required by various distributions, thereby providing guidelines necessary.

  • Recently, frozen and refrigerated appliances on the market are being released with additional IoT functions, but there are few tests on IoT functions. In particular, the existing test system does not have IoT test items for IoT-based frozen and refrigerated appliances, making it difficult for companies to find the cause even if defects occur, and test institutions are also restricted from selecting IoT-related test items and conducting correct performance tests. In this paper, we design a test item framework that can identify product defects and identify causes in the performance test process of frozen and refrigerated products with IoT functions among products in the home appliance field, and propose test methods and management measures using them. Through the proposed research, manufacturers and testing institutions can test the correct performance of IoT-based frozen and refrigerated products, thereby enhancing the completeness and securing reliability of the products.

  • An atmospheric correction algorithm based on the radiative transfer model is required to obtain remote-sensing reflectance (Rrs) from the Geostationary Ocean Color Imager-II (GOCI-II) observed at the top-of-atmosphere. This Rrs derived from the atmospheric correction is utilized to estimate various marine environmental parameters such as chlorophyll-a concentration, total suspended materials concentration, and absorption of dissolved organic matter. Therefore, an atmospheric correction is a fundamental algorithm as it significantly impacts the reliability of all other color products. However, in clear waters, for example, atmospheric path radiance exceeds more than ten times higher than the water-leaving radiance in the blue wavelengths. This implies atmospheric correction is a highly error-sensitive process with a 1% error in estimating atmospheric radiance in the atmospheric correction process can cause more than 10% errors. Therefore, the quality assessment of Rrs after the atmospheric correction is essential for ensuring reliable ocean environment analysis using ocean color satellite data. In this study, a Quality Assurance (QA) algorithm based on in-situ Rrs data, which has been archived into a database using Sea-viewing Wide Field-of-view Sensor (SeaWiFS) Bio-optical Archive and Storage System (SeaBASS), was applied and modified to consider the different spectral characteristics of GOCI-II. This method is officially employed in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)'s ocean color satellite data processing system. It provides quality analysis scores for Rrs ranging from 0 to 1 and classifies the water types into 23 categories. When the QA algorithm is applied to the initial phase of GOCI-II data with less calibration, it shows the highest frequency at a relatively low score of 0.625. However, when the algorithm is applied to the improved GOCI-II atmospheric correction results with updated calibrations, it shows the highest frequency at a higher score of 0.875 compared to the previous results. The water types analysis using the QA algorithm indicated that parts of the East Sea, South Sea, and the Northwest Pacific Ocean are primarily characterized as relatively clear case-I waters, while the coastal areas of the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea are mainly classified as highly turbid case-II waters. We expect that the QA algorithm will support GOCI-II users in terms of not only statistically identifying Rrs resulted with significant errors but also more reliable calibration with quality assured data. The algorithm will be included in the level-2 flag data provided with GOCI-II atmospheric correction.

  • Purpose - A pre-study on service quality-based customer value is conducted with the path structure (perceived value of service quality→customer satisfaction→behavior intention) based on the hierarchical model of service quality including interaction and outcome quality, physical environment quality and the SERVQUAL model of process quality, namely, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles. In addition, customer value in the service industry is studied by dividing into the two-way structure of utilitarian and emotional values. This study classifies customer values of family restaurants through the customer value model based on the 4×4 matrix needs system of Jeon and Kim (2009). It illustrates the path structure of customer value→customer satisfaction→behavior intention targeting college students in order to generalize the customer value system of family restaurants. Research design, data, and methodology - This study established seven hypotheses based on the relationship between each type of customer value (food quality, convenience, social, emotional, interior quality, service encounter, and purchasing) and customer satisfaction, and the relationship between customer satisfaction and behavior intention. The study data were collected from students in the Department of Business and Tourism at Kimpo University. In all, 294 survey papers were returned of the 300 distributed: 253 pieces were used in the final analysis excluding 41 with insufficient and less effective answers. For statistical analysis, the statistics software package SPSS 15.0 was used. Results - The results of the analysis are as follows: first, the customer values of family restaurants are classified by seven customer values: goods quality value, emotional value, convenience value, social value, purchasing value, service encounter value, and inner quality value. Second, emotional value, purchasing value, service encounter value, and inner quality value had positive impact on customer satisfaction. In particular, purchasing value through being included in functional value was not classified in the previous study; however, this study could classify and generalize this value in a new way. Finally, customer satisfaction had a positive impact on behavior intention. This showed that college students had behavior intention - repurchase intention and word-of-mouth - because they could be content with the food items on the menu and the service provided by employees. Conclusions - The main points based on the above-mentioned results are as follows. This study with college students as study subjects could be classified into four dimensions, namely, generic value, usage value, purchasing value, and physical value and seven sub-dimensions on customer values of family restaurants based on a 4×4 matrix needs system. Then, to confirm its generalization, the path structure of customer value→customer satisfaction→behavior intention was verified. While existing pre-studies used simplified values by classifying restaurant values largely as utilitarian value and hedonic value, this study classified various forms of customer value, and that customer value especially could be expanded by adding purchasing value. As a result, it is shown that marketers need to diversify their customer services because this study proved that customer values can be classified in various ways based on customer needs.

  • Dose evaluation for small field such as stereotactic radiosurgery was performed using $Gafchromic^{(R)}$ EBT film. Every film which irradiated 6MV photon beam was scanned and obtained the optical density(OD) by flat bed scanner after 24 hours of irradiation. This study compared dose from diode in water and Gafchromic $EBT^{(R)}$ film in acrylic phantom to verify the reliability of the film, and to evaluate the SRS in clinical dose distributions from calculation and measurement in the region of virtual target in humanoid and cylindrical phantoms were compared. The Gafchromic $EBT^{(R)}$ film was found to be linear up to 9Gy. The $D_{max}$ for 6 MV was measured at 1.5 cm from the surface by both of diode and the film. As the depth is deeper, the error was measured within $2{\sim}3%$ at $10{\sim}20\;cm$ depth. Comparing between distribution from calculation and measurement, we found that there is 5% error at 90% isodose line. We found that given dose could be measured accurately by using the phantoms. It was feasible to use the Gafchromic $EBT^{(R)}$ film in quality assurance of SRS.
