  • Various types of protection technologies have been developed for protecting copyrights of digital content and such technologies for protecting the digital broadcasting content as CAS, DRM have been introduced to the broadcasting industry. However, current rapid development of digital home network systems lets customers share digital content among home appliances, leading to the increasing needs for achieving interoperability among content protection technologies. This paper investigates previous research on interoperability among heterogeneous rights control informations by using MPEG-21 REL and then introduces a new approach to guarantee interoperability of rights control information.

  • Category F Rel of fuzzy sets and relations does not form a topos. J. Harding, C. Walker and E. Walker [3] showed that FRel has a tensor product and V. Durov [1] introduced basic definitions related to the notion of vectoid endowed with a tensor product. In this paper, we show that FRel forms a quasi topos. Also we show that there are quasi power objects in FRel. And by the use of the concepts of FRel and quasi topos, we get the logic operators of FRel. Moreover, we show that FRel forms a vectoid.

  • In this paper, we compute the rational evaluation subgroup of the Hopf fibration S2n+1 ↪ ℂP(n). We show that, for the Sullivan model 𝜙 : A → B, where A and B are the minimal Sullivan models of ℂP(n) and S2n+1 respectively, the evaluation subgroup Gn(A, B; 𝜙) and the relative evaluation subgroup Greln (A, B; 𝜙) of 𝜙 are generated by single elements.

  • MK1 strain, an obligate aerobic heterotrophic bacterium isolated from the rotten tissue of Neungee mushroom (Sarcodon aspratus), produces a copious amount of exopolysaccharide (EPS), which could evoke macrophage activation. Investigations on optimal culture conditions of MK1 and physical properties of MK1 EPS were made. Glucose, galactose, fructose, and sucrose supported well growth of MK1, but potato starch and dextrin did not. However, lactose seemed to be a less favorable carbon source. Optimal growth of MK1 was obtained at pH 7.0, $30^{\circ}C$, and 200 rpm with 2% glucose, and 0.2~0.05% $(NH_4)_2SO_4$. $EPS_{opt}$ obtained from an optimal growth condition constituted of carbon (37.1%), nitrogen (2.2%), oxygen (49.3%), and hydrogen (6.4%), but no sulfur. Paper chrogromatogram of the acid-hydrolysate of $EPS_{opt}$ suggested that MK1 EPS seemed to be hetropolysaccharide composed of a few number of monosaccharides including amino- and acidic-sugars. Its molecular mass determined by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis varied from 14.8 to 47.9 kDa. Physical properties of $EPS_{glu}$ obtained from cell grown in glucose medium, such as relative viscosity ($_{rel}$) and crystalline morphology were rather affected by pH of the growth medium. Relative viscosity ($_{rel}$) of exopolysaccaride (0.1 g/ml) harvested from cells grown at medium pH ranging from 6.0 and 7.5 was 1.23 and 1.39, respectively. The freeze-dried exopolysaccharide obtained at low pH (6.0 and 6.5) was fine crystaloid and water-soluble, whereas those obtained at high pH (7.0 and 7.5) was rather gluey and less water-soluble.

  • 2-amino-3-methylimidazo[4,5-f]quinoline (IQ), a heterocyclic amine, significantly inhibits nitric oxide (NO) production in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated macrophages. The decrease in NO production was found to correlate well with a decrease in iNOS mRNA expression as demonstrated by Northern blot analysis.(omitted)

  • In this paper we consider the one-period inventory model in which it is required to determine the selling quantity which maximizes the probability of realizing a predetermined level of profit L. The Assumptions used in this paper are willing to accept the rel life considerations, which are thestochasic supply, the discounted selling price and the discounted purchasing cost for the over-supply etc.

  • In order to eliminate position errors existing at the steady state in the motion control of robotic maniprlators, a new fuzzy control algorithm is proposed using three variables, position error, velocity error and integral of position errors as input variables of the fuzzy controller, This controller is applied to the tracking control of robotic manipulators in Cartesian space. Three dimensional look-up table is used to reduce the computational time in rel-time control. Simulation and experimental studies are conducted to evaluate the control performance for the two axis direct drive SCARA robot system.

  • Russian nasal consonants / m /, / n / have a feature value not only [+consonant] in common with obstruents, but also [+sonorant] in common with vowels. Nasal / m /(bi-labial) and / n /(dental) have the same place of articulation but different manner of articulation. The feature value of / m / is [+cons, +son, +nas, +ant, -cor, -high, -low, -back, -cont, -del, rel, -strid, +voic], and that of / n / is [+cons, +son, +nas, +ant, +cor, -high, -low, -back, -cont, -del, rel, -strid, + voic]. There is a difference in feature [cor] value of / m / and / n /. In this study it is confirmed that it is a fact that the Russian nasal consonants behave differently from the other consonants in each phonological phenomenon due to their phonological characteristics. The preceding voiced obstruent is changed to an unvoiced one in a process where the last voiceless obstruent in the consonant cluster ' voiced obstruent + nasal /m/ + voiceless obstruent' skips the nasal consonant and spreads its feature value to the preceding voiced obstruent transparently because of the feature [+sonorant] of the nasal consonant. The coronal nasal /n/ participates in a palatalization with the following palatal actively and palatalize preceding plain consonants passively because of markedness hierarchy such as 'Velar > Labial > Coronal'. But the labial nasal /m/ is palatalized with the following velar palatal actively and participates in a palatalization with the following coronal palatal passively. This result helps us confirm the phonological difference of /m/ and /n/ in a palatalization. When the a final consonant is nasal, the unvoicing phenomenon of a final consonant doesn't occur. In such a case as cluster 'obstruent + nasal' the feature value [voiced] of the preceding obstruent doesn't change, but the following nasal can assimilate into the preceding obstruent. When continuing the same nasals / -nn- / in a consonant cluster, the feature value [+cont] of a weak position leads the preceding nasal / n / to be changed into [-cont] / l /. Through the analysis of the frequency of occurrences of consonants in syllabic onsets and codas that should observe the 'Sonority Sequence Principle', the sonority hierarchy of nasal consonants has been confirmed. In a diachronic perspective following nasal / m /, / n / there is a loss of the preceding labial stop and dental stop. But in clusters with the velar stop+nasal, the two-component cluster has been kept phonetically intact.
