This study investigates the resilient structural characteristics of a region by assessing the impact of the financial crisis. Utilizing panel data at the prefecture level for metropolitan cities across pre-shock (2006-2008), shock (2009), and post-shock (2010-2019) periods, we calculated an employment resilience index by combining the resistance and recovery indices. The panel logit regression measures the influences of the region's industrial structure and external economic factors in response to the global financial crisis. The results revealed that the diversity index of industries contributed to the post-shock recovery bounce-back. Additionally, the presence of large firms and industrial clusters within the region positively contributed to economic resilience. The specialization and the proportion of manufacturing industries showed negative effects, suggesting that regions overly reliant on manufacturing-centered specialization might be vulnerable to external shocks. Furthermore, excessive capital outflows for market expansion were found to have a detrimental impact on regional economic recovery.

This study is a structural analysis of a multi-type and multi-level library network within the framework of a regional interlibrary loan (ILL) system. The study monitored to information network structure for resource sharing of academic and research library materials transmitted through the ILL. The local flow of academic and research information was measured by a survey of the filled ILL transactions by individual libraries in the Western 3Rs region. The major findings were as follows: 1) the regional ILL network showed less than half of participation of the total subject libraries, 2) existing structure surveyed was identified as a composite centralized network with three communication groups, 3) depending on the types of materials transacted, the structure were changed, 4) statewide and multi-state library cooperatives had direct interactions with some of the local libraries, 5) individual libraries participated in the ILL network more for periodicals than book materials, 6) academic libraries throughout the total six structure analyzed showed the highest percentage of participation.

본 연구는 최근에 지리학에서 새로운 지역연구 방법론으로 등장하고 있는 세계체제론적 지역지리학에 의하여 특정한 지방(locality)인 구미지역을 사례로 경험적인 지역연구를 시도하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 자본주의 세계체제에 편입된 한국자본주의의 발달시기를 일제식민기, 해방후 혼란기, 경제발전기 등으로 구분하고, 각 시기에 따른 구미지역의 경제적 특성과 공간구조적 특성에 대한 분석을 통해 그 지역성 변화를 밝히려고 하였다. 구미지역도 일제식민기와 해방후 혼란기에는 한국사회와 마찬가지로 세계경제의 주변지대에 속하면서 농업을 주된 산업으로 하고 있었다. 이에 따라 이 시기에는 지역의 공간구조도 도시가 형성 되지 않은 농업사회적 구조를 이루고 있었다. 그러나 경제재발기에 들어와서는 구미지역도 한국의 산업화정책에 포함됨으로서 산업지역(구미공단 조성)으로 변모돼 세계경제의 반주변지대로 발전한다. 이와 함께 공간구조도 산업이 입지한 지역(도시)과 그렇지 않은 지역(농촌)간의 불균등발전이 심화된 중심-주변의 공간구조로 변화되었다. 세계체제론적 지역지리학은 특정 지방(소지역)의 지역성 변화를 거시적인 세계적 맥락(세계자본주의)에서 경제적(산업적) 특성 뿐만 아니라 공간구조적 특성도 설명할 수 있다. 따라서 세계체제론적 지역지리학은 지역연구에 유용한 지리학적 방법론으로서 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

기존의 공간구문론(Space Syntax)을 활용한 공간구조분석(Spatial Structure Analysis)은 가로망(road)에 관한 인자(factor)만을 활용하는 한계를 가지고 있기에, 가로망 인자만이 아닌 지역의 지역적 특성을 고려한 인자를 도출한 현실성 있는 공간구조 분석 방법이 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구는 지역의 공간구조 특성인자를 도출하여 기존의 공간구문론과 GIS와의 통합모델을 구축하여 수정형 공간구조분석 방법을 제시하고 합덕읍 일원의 중심지역을 대상으로 공간구조 분석을 수행하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 전문가 설문조사를 실시하여 지역의 공간구조 특성요인 및 상대적 가중치를 도출하였고, 지역적 특성을 반영하는 인자로 가로망 뿐만 아니라 용도지역, 지가, 건물의 밀집도 요인을 도출하였다. 분석 결과 합덕읍의 경우 도로만을 이용한 기존의 공간구조분석을 활용한 공간구조분석 방법이 실제적인 값을 반영하지 못한 것으로 분석되었고, 지역적 특성 인자를 추가하여 분석한 수정형 공간구조분석 결과가 합덕읍의 현실성을 잘 반영한 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 합덕읍과 같은 경우 개발 축에 따라 가로망이 변화되고 중심성이 변화되는 지역이 아니라, 효율성과 형평성에 의해 가로망이 형성되거나 쇠퇴로 인해 중심성이 변화된 지역이기에 이러한 지역의 경우 지역적 특성을 반영한 방법이 더 적합한 것으로 분석되었다. 향후 지역적 특성을 반영한 공간구조분석 인자 선정 및 파라미터 선정에 관한 더 깊은 연구가 필요하고 다른 지역을 대상으로 시뮬레이션하여, 모델에 대한 상호 검증 및 보완하는 과정이 필요할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to verify the economic effects of the on going Korea-EU FTA negotiations upon the regional economy and to present some strategic economic countermeasures to deal with the forthcoming changes on the economic environments. In comparing with the industrial structure between Korea and EU, due to the different specific part of their industrial competitiveness both parts would have complementary cooperative transactions and trade as well. And also Korea and EU would have the similar understanding of the importance of the field of agriculture and service in accordance with the economic standpoint respectively. The level of degree and magnitude of the effect of Korea-EU FTA upon the regional economy would be decided in accordance with the industrial structure and the level of income of the regional economy. We are not to confirm and specify the economic influences of Korea-EU FTA negotiations on the economic conditions of Gangwon province but to prepare rational economic countermeasures fit to its structural character. One of the political strategies that might be feasible is the inflow of foreign direct investment from the developed European countries to the regional economy. This developing model would mean a new experiment to activate any regional economy and a new formation of the policy of economic growth.

2010년 이후 한국에서는 주력업종의 침체가 지역경제 전반에 영향을 미쳐 지역적 위기로 번지는 현상들이 나타나고 있다. 본 연구는 조선과 자동차 산업의 쇠퇴로 위기에 놓인 군산시를 대상으로 지역의 산업구조와 제조업 경쟁력이 어떻게 변화하고 있는지 분석하는데 목적을 둔다. 분석결과, 군산시의 산업구조는 2010년 이후 변화의 속도가 빨라지고 다양성이 높아지고 있지만, 이는 주력산업을 중심으로 한 고용방출이 타 산업으로 흡수되었기 때문이며, 제조업 내에서는 주력산업의 위기를 대체할 수 있는 업종이 부재했다. 군산시 제조업 중 기반산업들의 특화도는 점차 약화되고 있고, 입지경쟁력 마저 약화되면서 제조업의 성장률 시차에 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 군산시가 제조업 위기에 대응할 수 있는 방향을 모색하기 위해서는 본 연구와 같이 지역의 산업구조적인 특성 변화를 면밀히 검토하는 일이 선행되어야 할 것이다.

Background: An important function of the regional public hospital is to satisfy the basic medical needs of the community through the stable provision of high-quality medical services. The purpose of this study was to identify the relevance index (RI) of the regional public hospital and to identify the factors that affect the RI. Methods: Data were obtained from the 2017 regional public hospital operation evaluation report and 2017 medical monitoring report for vulnerable area. RI of the regional public hospital was a dependent variable, and multiple regression analysis was performed with observed variables of medical supply-demand condition, medical supply, and medical supply structure. Direct effects and indirect effects were confirmed by the analysis of structural equation models (SEM) to see if there were mediating effects. Results: The RI was 13.1%, and the average of all percentage refined diagnosis-related group (RDRG) was 29.4%. Factors affecting RI were medical supply-demand conditions, medical supply, and medical supply structure. As a result of multiple regression analysis, RI was higher when high percentage RDRG of the regional public hospital (t=4.117, p<0.05), the size of regional public hospital location (t=-2.554, p<0.05), and the population of regional public hospital location (t =-2.415, p<0.05) were smaller. The results of the SEM analysis show that the higher the medical supply-demand conditions, the more direct effect of decreasing the RI and the indirect effect of decreasing the effect of reduction through the medical supply (direct effect=-1.322, total effect=-0.573, p<0.01). The higher the medical supply structure, the more direct effect on the RI (direct effect=1.047, p<0.05) and the higher the medical supply, the more indirect effect of RI through the medical supply structure (total effect=direct effect=0.619, p<0.05). Conclusion: It has been confirmed that the provision of medical services can affect the RI the regional public hospital which should be considered in carrying out future policies.

지방자치단체는 중앙정부의 하위 조직이 아니라 독립된 하나의 경제 사회 행정적 단위로서 기능을 수행한다. 자치단체장의 역할과 소신은 매우 중요하며, 최근 들어 공약 선거의 중요성에 대한 국민적 이해와 관심이 높아지고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 도시계획의 주요한 변수로서 작용할 것으로 판단되는 선거공약에 대하여 연구하였다. 특히 선거공약이 도시공간구조 및 지역경제구조에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 선거공약과 용도지역 면적변화 관계를 분석한 결과 개발관련 전체 용도지역 면적변화는 선거공약과 관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이를 용도지역별로 세분화해본 결과 선거공약과 도시공간구조 중 용도지역 변화와의 관계는 주거지역을 중심으로 비교적 높은 관계가 형성됨을 알 수 있다. 또한 인구요인과 선거공약간의 관계가 높게 나타남을 알 수 있다. 이를 통해 선거공약과 도시공간구조 변화와는 관계가 있는 것으로 판단할 수 있으며, 특히 주거와 관련된 부문들의 변화가 높은 상관관계를 보일 것으로 예상할 수 있다. 그 결과 지역경제개발관련 공약이 많은 지역에서는 일반복지행정 부문의 공약이 적게 나타나는 것을 알 수 있었다. 즉 지역경제개발지향형 공약제시지역과 일반 복지 행정지향형 공약제시지역으로 구분이 가능할 것으로 판단되며, 이러한 공약의 실현을 통해 도시공간구조 변화에 영향을 미칠 가능성이 있을 것으로 판단된다.

The noise reduction is important one of considerations in the process of a civil aircraft development program. External noise sources are classified into an air-born source and a structure-born source. Among these noise sources, the most affected noise source into a cabin is the air-born noise source from an engine or propeller. The external noise is transmitted into the cabin through the fuselage structure of airplane which are composed of an fuselage structure, an interior trim panel and an acoustic insulation layer between an fuselage structure and an interior trim panel. Therefore, appropriate fuselage structure and acoustic insulation layer is very important to reduce the internal noise level. In this paper, the vibro-acoustic coupled analysis of the cabin noise of the 80~90 seats regional turboprop aircraft is carried out to validate the acoustic analysis method using Direct BEM and FEM. The sound pressure level onto the fuselage skin is acquired by fan-source noise analysis using BEM, and which sound pressure is used as acoustic noise source in vibro-acoustic noise analysis for cabin noise analysis using FEM.
