This paper aims at identifying the strategies for strengthening regional innovation systems. This paper is based on the objective evaluation on regional innovation systems by regional government officials who are in charge S&T promotion. This paper has two significances. First, regional government officials as manager on S&T policies, will be able to diagnose exactly their own regional innovation systems. Second, we will be able to get a complete figure on regional S&T culture throughout them. This paper argues that, in order to strengthen regional innovation systems, we must reinforce firms' technological capabilities, create and decentralize public research institutes, and diffuse the culture for appreciating S&T and innovation within region etc.

Analytical results during the proficiency test managed by Kyungin Regional Korea Food ＆ Drug Administration were proposed to be influenced by several factors. Data of several factors were collected along with the test results with ibuprofen and sobrerol formulations. The collected data were the use of internal standard, academic background and career of analytical personnel, production size of the company and location of the participating laboratory. (omitted)

We want to actively cope with technological developments by improving our drug specification in Korean Pharmaceutical Codex. Pheniramine maleate and naphazoline HCl of Pheniramine Maleate and Naphazoline Hydrochloride Ophthalmic Solution were ordained as UV spectroscopy and HPLC, respectively. Simultaneous analysis of those using HPLC has been developed. The assays of two drug products were 97.2%, 102.2% (pheniramine maleate), 96.8%, 101.3% (naphazoline HC1) respectively ; the specification rage if 90.0∼110.0%. (omitted)

The regional development strategy of China is involved basically with national macro economical development policies. In general, the development process were The procedures of 'balancing development-unbalancing development- rebalancing development'. The first restructuring is a balancing development strategy represented as the three-district construction and the second restructuring is the unbalancing development strategy represented as the preferential development of the east area after reformation & development. The third regional development strategy making current progress is a new regional balancing development policy including the great development of the west district. The study grasped how much the regional balancing development policy contributed to bridge the gap among other areas with coefficient of variation to analyze changes of regional development related indexes among the areas before/after the regional balancing development policy which had been progressed after 1991 with harmonious development among areas as its goal was carried out. It was also analyzed that the Chinese government's goal of regional development policy was how well-suited to the Chinese reality through regression analysis, so far. However, the results obtained of the study were summarized in Table6, Table7 and Table8.

2009년 말 기준의 국내 해양시설 신고 현황을 지역별 및 시설 종류별로 분석하고 국가차원의 관리방안을 제안하였다. 여수청에 신고한 시설이 8가지 종류로 가장 다양하였으나 포항청, 대산청 및 제주해양관리단에 신고한 시설이 각각 3가지 종류에 불과하였다. 기름 및 유해액체물질 저장시설은 모든 지방청의 신고 실적이 있고 시설의 수도 가장 많은 종류이며, 여수청과 마산청이 각 38개소로 공동 1위를, 평택청이 11개소로 최하위를 차지하였다. 오염물질저장시설은 마산청이 4개소, 동해청과 목포청이 각 2개소, 여수청, 군산청 및 평택청이 각 1개소였으며 나머지 지방청에는 신고 실적이 없었다. 선박건조 수리 해체시설은 모든 지방청의 신고 실적이 있는 종류이며, 전국 시설(조선소)의 45%가 마산청과 부산청 관할의 남해 동부해역에 집중되었다. 하역시설은 부산청과 목포청이 각 3개소, 대산청이 1개소였으며 나머지 지방청은 신고 실적이 없었다. 폐기물저장시설은 울산청이 5개소, 군산청이 4개소, 인천청이 2개소, 여수청이 1개소였으며 나머지 지방청에는 신고 실적이 없었다. 취수 배수시설은 전국의 65%가 포항지역과 목포지역에 집중되었고, 유어장은 전국의 78%가 마산지역에 집중되었다. 그 밖의 시설은 동해청이 4개소, 마산청이 3개소, 여수청과 평택청이 각 2개소, 인천청과 울산청이 각 1개소였으며 나머지 지방청에는 신고 실적이 없었다. 종합해양과학기지는 제주해양관리단이 3개소, 여수청, 울산청 및 군산청 각각 1개소였으나 나머지 지방청에는 신고 실적이 없었다. 해양시설에 대한 국가차원의 관리방안으로는 지방청별 여건을 고려한 관리, 시설 종류별 특성을 고려한 관리, 관계 법령 및 규정의 개정, 해양시설 종류별 이행사항 숙지 및 준수, 국가적 견지의 적극적 관리조치 등을 제안하였다.

이 글의 목적은 지리학의 연구대상으로서 대학을 어떻게 이해할 것이며, 이에 관한 기존의 연구동향과 아울러 앞으로의 연구과제를 살펴보는데 있다. 우리 나라에서는 1980년대 이래 대학교육이 양적으로 크게 팽창되었지만, 대학의 입지적 특성이나 지역적 파급효과, 지역발전과의 연계 등 지리학적 관점에서 체계적으로 다룬 연구가 극히 빈약한 실정이다. 따라서 이 글은 21세기 지시사회에서 지역발전의 핵심요소로서 부상되고 있는 대학의 역할을 고찰하고. 이를 지역발전과 연관시켜 개념적으로 파악하고자 했다. 또한 대학 연구가 활발하고 상당한 연구가 축적되어 있는 선진 제국의 교육지리학적 연구동향과 대학에 관한 연구중점의 변화를 개관하였다. 끝으로 대학과 지역발전에 대한 관심을 환기시키기 위해, 장차 다루어져야할 몇 가지 연구과제를 논의하였다.

본 연구는 지역산업정책의 패러다임에 대한 비판적 논의에 기반하여, 대구광역시의 지역산업정책을 사례로 문제점과 대안적 정책과제를 제시한다. 대구광역시 산업정책은 우리나라 지역산업정책의 제도적 한계로 중앙정부 주도산업정책의 일부로 수립 집행 되고 있다. 그 결과 지역정책이 아닌 대구광역시 전역을 대상지역으로 하는 부문별 정책의 일환으로 기획되고 추진되어 왔으며 대구광역시의 타 부문별 정책과의 연계성이 미흡하였다. 뿐만 아니라 지역산업정책의 목표가 명확하게 설정되어 있지 않고 정책수단도 구체적으로 제시되지 않았다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위해서는 무엇보다 기존 지역산업정책의 개념과 성격에 대한 비판적 논의를 전제로 한 대안적 패러다임의 정립이 요구된다. 그리고 지역산업정책의 핵심적 정책수단인 대상지역의 성격을 명확하게 규정하고, 이들 대상지역의 부문별 수단들을 조합하는 '장소기반적 정책'으로 수립 추진되어야 한다.
