본 연구의 목적은 축제 방문객을 대상으로 지역문화일치성이 스토리텔링과 브랜드자산과의 관계를 조절하는지를 검증하여 지역문화축제 발전을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 설문조사는 S시 읍성축제 프로그램에 참여한 431명의 방문객을 대상으로 하였으며, 설문자료의 분석은 기술통계, 신뢰도분석, 상관분석 및 조절효과분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 스토리텔링과 지역문화일치성은 가장 높은 정적 상관관계를 보였고, 지역문화일치성과 브랜드자산 간, 스토리텔링과 브랜드자산 간 모두 정적인 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 조절효과 분석 결과 지역문화일치성이 스토리텔링과 브랜드 자산을 조절하였다. 즉, 스토리텔링이 증가하면 브랜드 자산이 증가하는데 지역문화일치성이 높은 경우 낮은 경우보다 가파르게 증가하였다. 본 연구는 지역축제의 브랜드자산을 향상시킬 수 있는 새로운 모델을 제시하였다.

The sense of crisis regarding regional extinction due to low birth rates and an aging population is expanding. Generally, the local extinction index is used to analyze local extinction. However, it is challenging to diagnose the actual situation of village extinction risk in rural areas, even though the regional extinction index can be analyzed in units such as Si-Gun-Gu and Eup-Myeon-Dong. This difficulty arises because the regional extinction index solely relies on natural population growth indicators (elderly population and female population aged 20-39). Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop a village extinction index that can identify the disappearance of rural villages. Additionally, the aim is to apply the developed indicators to the village (administrative ri) spatial unit. The existing regional extinction index used only mortality-related indicators as factors for natural population decline and fertility-related indicators as factors for natural population growth. However, the developed village extinction index included not only the factors of natural population change but also incorporated social population growth factors and factors related to the pace of village extinction. This is the key difference between the developed village extinction index and the existing regional extinction index. In this study, the indicators of "total population," "number of young women aged 20-44," "number of elderly population aged 70 or older," and "number of incoming population" were selected to develop a village extinction index. The village extinction index was developed by incorporating both natural population growth indicators and social population growth indicators. The developed village extinction index was applied to administrative villages. This research is expected to provide a more accurate understanding of the current state of rural villages facing extinction.

The purpose of this study is to comprehend western style in fashion and to contemplate the hybrid tendency reflected on western style, thereby to analyze the aesthetic characteristics of the hybrid tendency of western style. For such purposes, this study first examines western style historically, in order to analyze hybrid tendency reflected on western style, and conduct a case study by analyzing photographic materials of pr t- -porter collection since 1980s. The result of this study is as follows: the hybrid tendency reflected on western style are modification and fusion of regional culture, adaptation and composition of subcultures, and appropriation of sexual minority culture. (1) Modification and fusion of regional culture is expressed in ethnic items and patterns of embroidery, mixing Mexican and Spanish, American Indian and American cultural references. (2) Adaptation and composition of subcultures emphasize traditional or vintage western style by mixing characteristics of western and other subcultures. (3) Appropriation of sexual minority culture is expressed in rhinestone chaps and fetish corset, glitter rodeo suit, reminiscent of drag or queer cultural references. The result of this study will provide basis which can be utilized in the development and educational background of fashion design.

This paper examines the evolution issues of regional tourism resources in complicated and networked industry the perspective of co-evolution types and dualism. Regional tourism structure has been changing more and faster according to various attractions and internal and external environment; natural resources, facilities, festivals and events, drama and movies, and public resources, etc. This paper approaches Olikowski's dualism perspective as a theoretical view about the alliance network between region's attractions and tourism industry in Korea. Exploratory analysis was explained the dualism cases performed on the matrix between resource characteristics and alliance complexity on human resources based on regional tourism industry.

With the advent of the fourth industry, the need for office automation with automatic character recognition capabilities is increasing day by day. Therefore, in this paper, we study a character recognition algorithm that effectively recognizes a new experimental data character by using learning data characters. The proposed algorithm computes the degree of similarity that the structural regions of learning data characters match the corresponding regions of the experimental data character. It has been confirmed that satisfactory results can be obtained by selecting the learning data character with the highest degree of similarity in the matching process as the final recognition result for a given experimental data character.

본 연구는 2008년에 개최된 제주국제관악제에 따른 관광산업이 제주지역 경제에 미치는 파급효과를 분석하고, 제주지역 사회 문화에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 제주지역 산업연관표를 활용하여, 축제 개최에 따른 관광산업의 경제적 파급효과를 분석하였고, 선행연구를 정리하여 사회통합적 측면, 정치선전적 측면, 문화발전적 측면, 산업적 측면 4부문으로 나누어 제주국제관악제가 제주지역 사회에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

강원도 지역의 문화예술 콘텐츠 공간의 활성화는 새로운 전기를 맞이하여야 하며 이는 대내외적 변화에 상응하는 새로운 전략적 접근을 필요로 하고 있음을 말한다. 기존의 천혜의 환경적 속성을 바탕으로 하여 전략과 더불어 지속 가능 모델로 자리매김을 하여야만 한다. 그러나 작금의 경제적 불황과 기후 변화의 영향은 성공적인 문화예술 콘텐츠 공간을 구축함에 있어서 더 이상의 선택적 요소가 아니다. 또한 문화예술 콘텐츠 공간의 활성화를 통하여 지역 경제와 사회문화적 파급력을 집성하려면 공간의 다양성과 구체적인 교육 프로그램도 절대적으로 병행하여야만 한다. 지리적 불리함에도 불구하고 영월은 많은 문화예술콘텐츠 공간들을 이미 갖추었고 다른 지역과 다르게 발전적 전략구성을 집행하고 있다. 문화예술 콘텐츠 공간의 중요성을 산업적으로 활용하는 점에서 고무적으로 판단되어지며 본인은 연구의 범위를 영월로 한정하였다. 따라서 영월 지역의 문화예술 콘텐츠 공간을 진단하고 발전을 위한 모델을 연구하고자 한다. 이는 구체적으로 영월지역 뿐만 아니라 기타 지역의 경제적 고용창출과 소득증대, 사회 문화적 영향력을 창출할 것이며 나아가 지역 문화의 현대화와 이미지 개선, 전반적인 삶의 질 향상 등을 형성할 수 있다고 판단되어진다. 방법적으로 세계화를 지향함과 동시에 지역의 문화 예술적 토대를 근거로 하여 영월의 '지붕없는 박물관도시, 영월' 프로젝트 방향을 세방화 패러다임으로 전환해야 한다. 즉 거시적인 세계화 지향의 발전 모델을 수립하기 이전에 지역의 문화예술 콘텐츠 수요를 파악하고 이를 특화한 시스템과 프로그램을 구축하여야 한다. 왜냐하면 영월지역의 문화예술 콘텐츠 공간은 도 시민에게 삶의 장소로서 직결되기 때문이다.

본 연구는 지방자치제 실시 이후 지역전통과 문화자원을 바탕으로 한 지역축제를 통해 지역상징을 재창출하고 이를 지역활성화 전략으로 활용하고 있는 전남 장성군을 사례로 과거의 역사적 사실이 어떻게 지역의 상징 및 정체성으로 정립되고, 현재의 지역사회에 재구성되는가를 고찰한 사례연구이다. 장성은 조선의 유림 중 뛰어난 인물중의 하나인 하서 김인후와 그를 배향하고 있는 필암서원으로 상징되는 '선비의 고장'으로 알려져 왔고, 동학군의 활동에서 중요한 전기가 마련된 황룡강 전투지역과 한말 의병의 중요한 근거지였다고 하는 역사적 사실로 인해 근래에는 '의향'으로 정립되어 온 지역이다. 이와 더불어 최근에는 홍길동전의 주인공인 홍길동의 생가로 추정되는 곳이 발굴되면서 홍길동을 지역상징으로 재구성하여 지역활성화를 꾀하고 있는 '홍길동축제'의 중심지로 알려진 곳이다. 홍길동축제는 올해로 5회째라는 비교적 짧은 역사에도 불구하고 장성군을 대표하는 지역축제로 자리잡아 가면서 홍길동 캐릭터를 이용한 지역로고, 생가터의 관광자원화 등 이와 관련한 다양한 지역문화경관을 창출하고 있다. 오랫동안 이 지역의 정체성의 중심에 있었던 '선비의 고장', '의향'으로서 장성은 홍길동축제의 역동적이고 외부적인 이미지를 강화시킨 이벤트전략과 축제의 강한 시장지향적 속성이 창출하는 지역활성화라는 명분 앞에 '홍길동의 고장, 장성'이라는 전통의 창출과 재구성을 경험하고 있다. 전통의 재구성과 현재적 활용이라는 측면에서 홍길동축제는 이제 그동안 이 지역의 역사적 경험에 기초한 전통과 문화를 다양한 물리적 지역경관과 함께 어떻게 현재의 지평에서 불러내 활용할 것인가, 그리고 이를 위한 지역사회의 다양한 목소리를 어떻게 담아낼 것인가에 진정한 지역통합 및 지역활성화의 기능을 담당할 수 있을 것이다.

본 논문은 지역 문예회관 운영 활성화를 위한 브랜드 프로그램 개발에 관한 연구이다. 지역의 문화향수 현황과 문예회관의 현황을 파악하고 국내외 사례를 통해 지역의 특성을 반영한 지속적이며 발전 가능한 브랜드 프로그램의 개발 방향을 모색했다. 인터랙티브 프로그램, 프로그램의 시스템화와 매뉴얼화, 독창적이며 개별적인 동시에 보편적인 소재의 요소를 갖춘다면 지역 문예회관의 경쟁력 있는 브랜드 프로그램으로서 지역 중심의 다양화된 문화콘텐츠를 창출할 수 있을 것이다.

The word 'urbanity' literally means 'quality or state of being urban' where the criterion of urban economic and civic culture is assumed despite the general celebration of cultural uniqueness of urban centers. The narratives celebrating the uniqueness of urban centers since the ancient past till recent times could not get rid of the broad categorization of the urban models depending on their contextual networks of trade, mobility and culture. This paper attempts to explore whether the urban cultures in South Asia even preceding a global phenomenon like colonialism were actually reflecting an idea of urbanity where the urban culture, including planning and architecture reflected a trans-national model. This paper particularly concentrates on the medieval period when a pattern of urbanity took shape in this subcontinent under the influence of Islam, which could be explained by its particular idea of urban model, cultural exchange and vibrant trade networks.
