A super-regenerative receiver is designed and tested at 433 MHz ISM band, The designed receiver has the data rate of up to 200 kbps and a power consumption of 10 mW. We carried out the system performance test for the TX power of 0.1 mW and 1 m distance. The result of the bit-error rate test shows one bit error among the 4000 bits.

In this paper, the regenerative inverter system with voltage drop compensation mode is proposed. When the main rectifier is broken, the DC traction can not be supplied the power from the utility. Actually, the reserve rectifier is mounted in the substation to prevent this accident. In this paper, the voltage drop compensation mode is added to the regenerative inverter system in order to substitute the reserve rectifier. The proposed regenerative inverter system returns the regenerative energy from the DC line voltage to the utility. In addition, the inverter can be compensate the harmonics caused by the power conversion devices used in the DC traction system. We demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm by using computer simulation.
Owing to the consistent increase in energy efficiency issues, studies for improving regenerative energy utilization have been receiving attention in the Urban DC railway systems, where currently, the utilization of regenerative energy is low due to the lack of a specific plan for using this energy. The regenerative energy in railway systems has a low efficiency problem which results in the increase of the catenary voltage and a possibility to create problems to the electrical devices connected to the system. This paper deals with the power integration of large urban railway subsystems to improve regenerative energy utilization where the railway subsystems are integrated with other railway subsystems to improve the energy efficiency. Through the case studies, to find the realistic effect of integrated operation, the Seoul Metro subsystems, namely Line 5 and Line 7, has been applied. Also, evaluation for the electricity cost saving has been performed by using KEPCO electricity cost table.

In this paper, a unified regenerative inverter and control algorithm are proposed in order to perform regenerative action and active power filter action. While the regenerative mode of traction, it works as regenerative inverter to reduce a excessive power of DC bus line and the powering mode of the traction, it works as active power filter to compensate ac current distortion, power factor, and voltage unbalance. In the paper, a regeneration inverter used PWM DC/AC inverter algorithm. And an active power filter used p-q theory. We are carrying out a mode analysis of DC traction system similar to actual system with MG-set and experimenting with prototype model. Through the simulation and experiment, we were proving the regeneration inverter operation which suggested in this paper.
This paper is derived a solutions for an analytical model of an induction motor and the formula of regenerative power, based on spiral vector. The torque is controlled linearity through variations of the slip angular velocity, based on the field acceleration method (FAM). And also PWM inverter fed induction motor drives is schemed to be easily a regenerative power. The experimental tests verify the performance of the FAM, proving that good behavior of the drive is achieved in the transient and steady state operating condition. and are discussed to shave the power that regenerative power is measured at the operating acceleration or deceleration of servo system.

An Ultra low power super-regenerative oscillator was implemented with on-chip inductor and quench signal generator. The super-regenerative oscillator detects the signal level as low as -70dBm while consuming only 0.48mA at 1.5V supply voltage. These results indicate that the super-regenerative oscillator can be outstanding candidate the simple, ultra low power receiver design.
The regenerative braked cars are being introduced in DC electric railway for energy saving. There has been a recent tendency for DC traction substation with regenerative inverter to increase in number. This is strongly related to the desire for effective utilization of electric power regenerated by DC electric cars and to the aim ensuring stable operation of regenerative braking system. The regenerative inverters DC power feed back from a generative car into AC power at a substation and supplies it to distribution lines. This paper suggest the result of characteristic analysis and capacity simulation. economical analysis in the regenerative inverter system.

Regenerative energy generated by regenerative braking of DC traction can cause the system malfunction or damage to the rectifier, or malfunction of the power conversion device in power supply system by DC Line voltage rise in feeder line. Regenerative energy storage system using super capacitor is one of the ways to stabilize DC line voltage. In this paper, energy storage system of DC traction system using super-capacitor bank is implemented and using the field measurement data of the station N and the station S on the Line 2, the operation characteristics of line voltage caused by regenerative energy of electric trains are verified. Also, charge/discharge characteristics of super capacitor are verified as well. Thus, we can verify the operation characteristics of super-capacitor bank for regenerative energy storage system installed in DC Traction. And if we can use field measurement data of DC line voltage, we have obtained cost reduction. The stabilization of the system will be improved by measuring the operation characteristics of regenerative energy storage system in certain section operated by DC traction and predicting the capacity and lifetime of super-capacitor.
In this paper, the regenerative braking control system for 4 WD Electric Vehicle (EV) is proposed. Many studies on efficient drive of EV are being done to prolong the one charge distance. By using the regenerative braking (REGEN), the resulting EV system has following advantages : a) battery is recharged with the mechanical energy of EV, b) the running load can be reduced, and consequently the efficiency can be increased. The problem of REGEN that the power acceptance ability of battery is limited can be solved by controlling regenerative braking torque. The proposed control system has following characteristics. : a) It controls regenerative power by varying mechanical braking torque. b) It controls mechanical braking torque using load torque observer. c) It controls the regenerative braking torque independently. The control scheme and simulation results are presented for the experimental car.

With the aid of fast computing power, resampling techniques are being introduced for simulation output analysis (SOA). Autocorrelation among the output from discrete-event simulation prohibit the direct application of resampling schemes (Threshold bootstrap, Binary bootstrap, Stationary bootstrap, etc) extend its usage to time-series data such as simulation output. We present a new method for inference from a regenerative process, regenerative bootstrap, that equals or exceeds the performance of classical regenerative method and approximation regeneration techniques. Regenerative bootstrap saves computation time and overcomes the problem of scarce regeneration cycles. Computational results are provided using M/M/1 model.
