변분 유한요소법에 의한 비균질 비등방성 매질에서의 전파특성 (Wave propagation in an Inhomogeneous Anisotropic Medium through Variational Finite Element Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 변분 유한요소법을 통하여 임의의 유전율 텐서를 포함하는 비등방성 매질에 수직으로 입사한 전자파의 전파특성을 고찰하였다. 먼저 유기정리, 리액션 정리, 가역정리 둥에 기초한 새로운 접근 방볍을 통해 변분수식을 유도하였다. 그 다음 유한요소볍을 이용하여 구해진 범함수로부터 여러 전파특성 에 대해 해석하였다. 특히 냉 자기 플라즈마 슬랩과 같은 균질 및 비균질 비둥방성 매질에 평면파가 수직 으로 입사한 경우에 대해 반사계수, 투과계수 및 축비율을 구하였다. 그리고 이 결과들은 기존의 방법과 비교하여 잘 일치함을 보였다.

개구 결합된 십자형 패치를 이용한 ISM 대역용 이중대역 마이크로스트립 안테나 (Dual-Band Microstrip Antenna for ISM Band using Aperture Coupled Cross Patch)

  • 시간영역 유한차분법을 이용하여 2.4 GHz와 5.8 GHz외 ISM 대역을 위한 이중대역 마이크로스트립 안테나를 설계한다. 2개의 구형 패치가 겹쳐진 십자형 패치를 안테나의 방사소자로 제안하고 급전 방식은 개구 결합을 이용한다. 안테나 설계를 위해 개구와 스터브 길이 변화에 따른 입력 임피던스의 변화를 살펴보고, 방사소자의 길이와 폭 변화에 따른 중심 주파수와 -10 dB대역폭을 고찰한다 반사손실에 대한 계산 결과를 IE3D의 해석 결과 및 측정 결과와 비교하여 잘 일치함을 확인하고, 주파수 2.43 GHz와 5.79 GHz에서 안테나의 방사패턴을 측정하여 -3 dB 빔폭, 전후방비 및 최대 이득을 제시한다.

  • 초크랄스키 실리콘 기판의 뒷면에 형성된 기계적 손상이 미치는 효과에 대하여 고찰하였다. 기계적 손상의 정도는 레이저 여기/극초단파 반사 광전도 감쇠법에 의한 소수반송자 재결합 수명, X-선 단면 측정 및 습식 산화/선택적 식긱 방법으로 평가하였다. 그 결과, 웨이퍼 뒷면에 가해지는 기계적 손상의 세기가 강할수록 소수반송자 재결합 수명은 짧아지고, 산만 산란 정도와 X-선 과잉 강도의 적분값은 비례적으로 증가하였으며, 그 값을 Grade 1의 손상된 웨이퍼에서의 과잉 강도로 정규화하면 과잉 강도의 상대 정량비는 Geade 1:Grade 2:Grade 3 = 1:7:18.4이다.

SFR 기법을 이용한 영상 융합의 정확도 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Image Fusion Accuracy Using Smoothing Filter-based Replacement Method)

  • Image fusion techniques are widely used to integrate a lower spatial resolution multispectral image with a higher spatial resolution panchromatic image. However, the existing techniques either cannot avoid distorting the image spectral properties or involve complicated and time-consuming decomposition and reconstruction processing in the case of wavelet transform-based fusion. In this study a simple spectral preserve fusion technique: the Smoothing Filter-based Replacement(SFR) is proposed based on a simplified solar radiation and land surface reflection model. By using a ratio between a higher resolution image and its low pass filtered (with a smoothing filter) image, spatial details can be injected to a co-registered lower resolution multispectral image minimizing its spectral properties and contrast. The technique can be applied to improve spatial resolution for either colour composites or individual bands. The fidelity to spectral property and the spatial quality of SFM are convincingly demonstrated by an image fusion experiment using IKONOS panchromatic and multispectral images. The visual evaluation and statistical analysis compared with other image fusion techniques confirmed that SFR is a better fusion technique for preserving spectral information.

High Out-of-Plane Alignment of Liquid Crystalline Methacrylate Copolymer Bearing Photoreactive 4-Styrylpyridine Moiety

  • This paper describes the out-of-plane order of a liquid crystalline(LC) methacrylate copolymer(3) comprised of a methacrylate(1) with a 4-styrylpyridine moiety as the photo-cyclodimerizable group and a benzoate moiety as the mesogenic group in the side chain, and another methacrylate(2) with a 4-(4-methoxyphenyl)benzoate moiety as the mesogenic group. The composition of 1 and 2 units in 3 was estimated to have a molar ratio of 54.2:45.8 by $^{1}H$ NMR spectroscopy. The X-ray diffraction study revealed that the copolymer forms a partial bilayer smectic structure. The copolymer gave rise to a high out-of-plane order parameter of about 0.74 in a wide LC temperature range of $110{\sim}160^{\circ}C$ after linearly polarized, UV light irradiation and subsequent annealing. Moreover, the external reflection IR analysis indicated that excess UV-light irradiation makes the out-of-plane LC structure of the copolymer appear in a higher and wider temperature range.

Time PLOT과 이동평균 융합 시계열 데이터 예측 (Forecasting the Time-Series Data Converged on Time PLOT and Moving Average)

  • 시계열 데이터를 예측하는 것은 매우 어려운 작업이다. 비선형적인 특성을 갖는 신호에서 얻어지는 데이터들이 불확실성을 가지고 있기 때문이다. 본 논문은 특정 시계열 데이터의 정확한 예측을 위하여 시계열 자료가 어떤 패턴에 따라 변화한다는 전제하에서 과거 자료들을 평균하여 미분으로써, 시계열 변화 패턴의 찾았다. 또한 미분 데이터의 반영 비율에 따라 특이성을 갖는 시계열데이터를 일반화하기 위하여 확률변수를 적용하였다. 순환변동과 계절변동을 소거하고, 불규칙 변동만을 추출하여 경향의 추세를 더한 예측값을 계산하게 된다. 이렇게 예측된 값은 이동평균과 단순이동평균에 의하여 가장 좋은 결과값을 갖는 알고리즘과 비교를 통하여 제안 알고리즘의 우수성을 입증하였다.

토너입자형 디스플레이의 평가방법 제안 (A Proposal of the Evaluation Method of Toner Particle Type Display)

  • A measurement method of the particle-based reflective display is proposed, estimated, and compared with reported method. The reflectivity measurement by previous studies is simply obtained by integrating sphere, but it has a limitation for the estimation of real moving particles because its data include surface reflection and incomplete attachment on electrodes. To get the number of real moving particles, the area by attached particles on the electrodes is calculated at microscopic signals. The moving particles on subthreshold voltage are observed and this fluctuational variation of surface on subthreshold voltage gives a tip to understand the driving mechanism. By this measurement we ascertained the relationship of a particle layer and real driving particles, and the feasibility of observation and estimation for moving color particles, which were measured by the reflectivity and CIE (Commission Internationale de I'Eclairage) system of color specification at previous studies.

S파라미터를 이용한 단상 변압기의 이상 상태 진단에 대한 연구 (Diagnosis of Fault and Abnormal Conditions in a Single-Phase Transformer Using S-parameter Measurement)

  • In this paper, we propose a two-port S-parameter data to diagnose the fault conditions of a single-phase transformer. Using the S-parameters we can measure the reflection and transmission characteristics of signal power at the port of a transformer, which can also be converted into ABCD parameters and Z parameters through a well-known conversion formulas. Transformer fault diagnoses can be performed based on the intuitive and qualitative/quantitative characteristics of the these parameters. In addition, we can obtain wide frequency characteristics at the primary and secondary sides of the transformer, which can be used to get time domain responses using the inverse Fourier transformation with some specific input waveform. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, the fault conditions were analyzed in simulation and experiment for 3 kVA single phase transformer with 15: 5 turns ratio, and the validity of the proposed method was verified.

다중경로 환경에서 다중빔 탐색레이더에 적용 가능한 표적 고각오차 혼성 보정 기법 (Hybrid Compensation Technique on Low Elevation Angle Errors for Multibeam Surveillance Radar in Multipath Environment)

  • The multibeam surveillance radar is a state-of-art of 3D radar technology. It applies the stacked beams realized by a digital beamformer. In this paper, a hybrid compensation technique on elevation angle errors for low elevation angle targets over the sea in multipath radar environments is proposed. The proposed method can be applied to stacked beam radars. Double null algorithm based on maximum likelihood method in 3-D beamspace domain works well unless the phase difference between the two rays(direct and specular path) is close to $0^{\circ}$ and the magnitude of reflection coefficient is close to 0. To overcome these problems, we propose a hybrid compensation technique which uses the selective double null algorithm and the beam-ratio compensation technique for low-elevation errors on a log scale. Results of computer simulation show that the proposed method outperform conventional monopulse method and double null algorithm only under various multipath environments.

압전층의 2단 증착법을 이용한 체적 음향파 박막형 공진기의 제작과 성능향상에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Fabrication and Enhancement of Film Bulk Acoustic Wave Resonator using Two-Step Deposition Method of Piezoelectric Layer)

  • The 2 GHz film bulk acoustic wave resonator(FBAR), one of the most necessary device of the next generation mobile communication system, consisted of solidly mounted resonator(SMR) structure using Brags reflector, was researched in this paper The FBAR applied SiO$_{2}$ and W had large difference of the acoustic impedance to reflector Al to electrode and ZnO to piezoelectric layer. Specially, the FBAR applied the two-step deposition method to improve the c-axis orientation and increase reproducibility of the fabrication device had good performance. The electrical properties of plasma such as impedance, resistance, reactance, $V_{pp},\;I{pp}$, VSWR and phase difference of voltage and current, was analyzed and measured by RF sensor with the variable experiment process factors such as gas ratio, RF power and base vacuum level about concerning the thickness, c-axis orientation, adhesion and roughness. The FBAR device about the optimum condition resulted reflection loss(S$_{11}$) of -17 dB, resonance frequency of 1.93 GHz, electric-mechanical coefficient(k$_{eff}$) of 2.38 $\%$ and Qualify factor of 580. It was seen better qualify than the common dielectric filter at present and expected on business to the filter device of 2 GHz bandwidth with the MMIC technology.
