A shared compliant control scheme based on IMC is proposed for the position-force force reflecting control system. The controller of the slave manipulator is designed by IMC method for the open loop unstable plant. The compliant control is implemented by first order low pass filter. In the proposed scheme, the slave manipulator well tracks the position of the master manipulator in free space and the compliance of the slave manipulator is autonomously controlled in contact condition. The simulation results show that the excellence of the proposed controller.

This paper aims to present a taxonomy of non-standard words (NSW) for developing a French text normalization system and to propose a method for evaluating this system based on a corpus. The proposed taxonomy of French NSWs consists of 13 categories, including 2 types of letter-based categories and 9 types of number-based categories. In order to evaluate the text normalization system, a representative test set including NSWs from various text domains, such as news, literature, non-fiction, social-networking services (SNSs), and transcriptions, is constructed, and an evaluation equation is proposed reflecting the distribution of the NSW categories of the target domain to which the system is applied. The error rate of the test set is 1.64%, while the error rate of the whole corpus is 2.08%, reflecting the NSW distribution in the corpus. The results show that the literature and SNS domains are assessed as having higher error rates compared to the test set.

The market size of Internet portals has been continuously expanded and also competition has been fierce. For the business success of Internet portals, it is necessary to repeatedly perform a renewal project which improves their services, reflecting more improved or changed strategies. Accordingly, this paper proposes an analysis methodology for performing the renewal project more systematically and effectively. The methodology consists of four phases : establishing improved strategies, analyzing customers, deriving service alternatives, and determining services. The methodology places an emphasis on reflecting effectively customers' standpoints (i.e. customers' needs) and service providers' standpoints (i.e. business strategy) upon service improvement. Furthermore, the methodology includes a specific technique for analyzing the feasibility of services. To demonstrate the practical usefulness of the methodology, a real-life case is illustrated.

Reflecting a particular place and time, from the agrarian society, through the Industrial Age, furniture has been one of the closest factors to our housing life and developed continuously. The information age representing digital, information and telecommunication generally gave a wide range of individuals and societies various phases of culture shock that had never been experienced so far, among which the change of the attitude toward work and marriage influenced on housing life style, they have required unexplored style and function of furniture additionally. People so called the singles has recently become a culture code reflecting the present time, they already have built their own territories in society, economy and culture. The ideas about a variety of furniture for the singles, which consider the housing culture of the singles, has been floated, therefore furniture for the singles are main streamed into home furniture category, required characteristics of furniture for the singles are drawn, furthermore some design examples are suggested on the basis of those characteristics in this study.

Plane mirror type laser interferometers are popularly being used in many modern ultraprecision machines, as they can perform simultaneous measurements of multiple axis positions with nanometer resolution capabilities. One important issue in this application of laser interferometers is to provide a good level of alignment between the reflecting mirrors and the laser beams so that measurement errors due to undesirable coupling effects can be avoided in multiple axis measurements In this investigation, a thorough metrological analysis is given to develop an suitable mathematical model for a precision x-y stage in which the orthogonality misalignment between the reflecting mirrors significantly affects overall x-y mea-surement results. Then a noble calibration method is suggested in which two-dimensional displacement sensors of moire gratings of concentric circles are used to realize the reversal principle of orthogonality evaluation in situ. Finally, actual experimental results are discussed to verify that the suggested method can effectively calibrate the orthogonality error with an uncertainty of 0.2667 arcsec.

The stability and theoretical performance limits of the feedback controlled force reflecting haptic manipulator have been discussed. All the virtual environment which interact physically with the haptic system have its own stable performance limit. Three different realization of the interfaces have been compared using the driving point admittance. The haptic system which is separated from the human hand or finger is superior to its stable interaction provided that there is a means to apply a direct damping between the haptic manipulator and the human finger Electro-magnetic force is used for its digital implementation of the simple separated type haptic device. The stable limits of a virtual wall is calculated and experimental results show that there is performance limits in this implementation.

It is the purpose of this article to present a brief and systematical behavioral methods in recent developed behavioral pharmacology. Specifically, the present review has been organized around three major topics reflecting both current research emphasis in behavioral pharmacology and methodological applications to the study of psychopharmacological actions of crude drug or herb medicine. The first major topic focuses upon the appropriate experimental design especially in the study of psychopharmacology. A large number of factors should be controlled to have a bearing on design of studies reflecting to psychological effects of drugs. The second section presents several recent methodological developments in behavioral pharmacology involving Turner's screening methods and several types of conditioning techniques. The last section calls specific attention to the observation of behavioral development processes in relation to the activity of pharmacological agents and emphasizes critical period of drug treatment.

The customer unsatisfaction in the new products exists, though the most of enterprises using QFD. It is mainly caused by the failure of corrective determination of technical importance rating(TIR). To derive the technical importance rating, the impact of the fulfillment of design requirements on the satisfaction of customer requirements must first be quantified. This has been accomplished through the use of a 1-3-9 or a 1-5-9 scale and ignored the peak of the house of quality(HOQ). In this paper we suggested the methodology reflecting effectiveness among engineering characteristics and adjusting the relationship strength between customer attribute(CA) and engineering characteristic (EC), by using limit probability and PCMR(pairwise comparison and median rank). With using this method, the determination of TIR would be more suitable for the voice of customers objectively. Here negative correlation is ignored.

A hand controller in teleoperation is a man-machine interface device that provides real-time interaction between a human operator at control site and a slave manipulator at remote site. In this paper, we examine the design issure related to various types of hand controllers in use. Emphasis is placed on bilateral hand controllers and their design parameters. We describe the design of a new 6 degree-of-freedom universal force-reflecting hand controller to control a remote Schilling Titan manipulator. This hand controller allows the operstor to maintain spatial corresponence in remote manipulative operation and fell a sense of contact with the environment. Finally, we demonstrate the graphic simulation of the hand controller to verify its design characteristics.

In this paper, we propose the IPTV QoE evaluation method reflecting service user's preference. This method can evaluate the IPTV service QoE using the fuzzy integral because it usefully employs a subjective decision for QoE(Quality of Experience) evaluation. IPTV subscribers can prepare a criterion to select an IPTV provider who provides high qualityQoE.
